NBC NEWS: LIVE: Anatoba

A man stands in front of Capital Hill, the equivilant to the White House. Behind him, commuters pass by, and the leaves are falling off the trees as it is fall. A slight breeze is blowing.

"Hi, this is Robert Dean here, reporting live from Capital Hill in Anatoba. Now, word just in, the President has just announced an intention to establish a new alliance, alongside Credonia. It is not clear exactly how this organisation will work, uh, however we speculate that it will be somewhat pro-internationalist."

The screen flashes to a woman back in the studio, "So, what news have you got on this alliance Robert? I mean, what does Hoffman plan to do?"

The screen changes back to Robert, "Thats a good question Sandra. Now, he has announced that alliance talks will be held in Anatoba, and these talks are expected to be hosted by both the Austar Union, and Credonia. I expect that those nations attending will probably have to ask, and or maybe be involved in current activites already, but I have a hunch that perhaps it will be open to most, if not all nations."

The screen splits in two.

"So, what has Hoffman given indication of? We already know that the alliance will become somewhat internationalist, but what does this exactly mean?", asks Sandra in the Studio

"Well I do suspect, that it means that the organisation as a whole will be more internationally inclined. For example Sandra, it may be involved actively in seeking and destroying terrorist forces. Um, it may also be active against imperialism. Im nnot quiet sure as yet, but I'm sure that the role of this alliance will be established in the conference."

"So Robert, has the President given any indication of what kind of a charter will be established?"

Robert began to concentrate, "Yes he has Sandra. But he hasnt made a new charter as such. its mainly a guidline on how the alliance will be acting. For example, it says that the alliance will not be imperialistic. Thats as much detail as it goes."

Sandra looked down at her list of question, "Well I think we've covered it in general, any clue on when these talks will be held?"

Robert smiled, "Yes, I have a date here. The talks are expected to be held on the 1st April, um, but the President has indicated that the date may change if anything major happens."

Sandra asked one last question, "Thats great Robert, so who are the major players so far?"

"Um, well both Credonia and the Austar Union are definatly attending, and we do see a likely possibility of Kihameria attending."

"Wow, this is big," commentated Sandra, "Ok, thankyou Robert."

The screen went back to Sandra in the studio, "Now, in other news..."

Update: There are now 16 nations attending the talks, including several billion plus nations. They are open invitation for only 3 or four days now. If you wish to join us in Anatoba, I suggest you register your seat immediatly.

In the meantime, the President has begun to gather his ideas for the new alliance. It is expected to have a full scale politcal system, and a full judicial system implemented within the alliance, if his ideas are adopted.

Interesting fact: Although with only 16 attending nations, a total of 12 623 million citizens are being represented in these talks, not including the colonies which belong to each government. If colonies are added, it is estimated that a total of 18 Billion citizens are being represented.

Attention all nations: Due to several considerations I have decided to change the date of the opening of this conference to the first of April. I believe that the date which was preset beforehand was too far ahead of time, and I apoligise for any confusion it may have caused.

Mafikeng has been very concerned about the imperial ambitions of certain alliances existing at present. In particular the war in Our Lord. Security will be provided at the most maximum height. The airport used will be a hidden government airport, and there will be multiple decoy aircraft to confuse any enemy on which aircraft houses the delegate you are sending. The conderence will be held at a secret location, and will be locked down entirely during the conference. Accomodation will be provided on the conference grounds, in guest rooms provided.

Agreed. No actual rules were established beforehand. We can create a charter which keeps such nations in check.
