Chellian Funding

Today, it was announced that huge funds would be given from the 11t budget of the military R&D department, to develop two things. First off, an anti-ICBM system that can be added to the existing national defense system, to destroy any incoming ICBM's, or at least help defend against. Second, to develop a new line of aircrafts, including Nuclear powered bombers and Scramjet-powered carrier aircraft. The first two are new, while the Scramjet project has been slowly progressing, although much faster now.

Now, about the controversial desicion that chellis has banned all zoo's. Polls say that peo....

OOC: This is, more than anything, a TAG, so I can say they didnt just pop up out of no where.

the PRKS would like to inquire if the PRKS was under Chellis protection at any time.

OK man, sorry to knock you, but I gotta state the obvious things first:

1: 1st off, it is impossible to put a nuclear reactor safely in an aircraft... the russians tried it once, and it wasn't even a generator, it was just a heat source... and it was very dangerous, glew red hot, and also failed miserably. YOu can't have a flying nuclear reactor at anywhere near modern tech.

2. You can't have a jet that runs solely on a scramjet... you need to get supersonic somehow. Maybe we could work on a hybrid engine?

1. B-38 Peacemaker. That nuclear reactor didnt blow up or anything. It wasnt powering the plane, but I plan on adding to that, with more modern nuclear reactors(chellis gets lots of its energy nuclearly, so we are experianced in this kinda thing). We hope to use a hybrid nuclear propeller/High-efficientcy jet system in tandem.

2. We are making the scramjet aircraft special carrier planes. After getting thrown off the catapult, a RTOL system pushes it into high speeds and altitudes, where its Scramjet engines will turn on.

*Don't say that It would take too much time to develop #1, I got a 11 trillion dollar budget going to military R&D alone. I just gotta wait about a month.

btw, if you are having trouble finding radiation shielding, look up demron. Nifty stuff.

(I'd like to take this opportunity to say that a nuclear wasteland is a pretty severe result for a plane being shot down)

Chellis is very advanced with nuclear reactors, we believe the project will go off without a hitch.
