" This is Kevin McTavish of the Veredian News Network, with the official announcement of the polling results in from all over Veredia, it is official, the Veredian Imperialist Party has swept the elections, winning an impressive majority government with 87% of the vote. We now go live to where the new Prime Minister Lorien is waiting to deliver a message"
The camera switches to a view in the Veredian Parliament, where the new P.M. Lorien is standing at a hastily setup stand for this occasion, he clears his throat and begins to speak:
"People of Veredia, I would like to thank all of you first and foremost for this incredible victory, I am so pleased to see the sheer amount of support that you have given for the expansion and greater glory of Veredia which I have promised. I shall meet that promise, as my first act as Prime Minister, I have already just ordered the 1st fleet under the command of Admiral Tyrell to travel beyond the parts of space which we have explored, and begin the process of colonization. Together, we shall build amongst the stars one of the greatest empires that shall ever be known!"
The message is quickly followed by resounding cheers, while the Veredian Space Navy prepares for its upcoming duties.
