Terrorists attack Cruise Liner, Hundreds Murdered

28-03-2004, 07:24
March 27, 2004 - A state of emergency was called by Prime Minister Andres Castillo, as the luxurious RMS Hispania was struck by a torpedo of the coast of Cicera around 12:30 PM Ciceran National Time. Of the 2,723 onboard, only 764 had survived. Prime Minister Castillo asked for international aide, as 123 of the 189 International travelers onboard went down with the ship. Ciceran Officials will be willing to wage war against a nation(s) who is responsible for the worst tragedy in Ciceran History. Witnesses on the coast say the submarine that launched the torpedo barred an image of three legs (Pictured Below.) The death toll remains at 1,959, which includes the staff, and Captain Pedro Calamai. A Memorial Service will be held in the principal port of Puerto Cecilia, where a small memorial park will be erected.

This is indeed a tragic incident. The CKZ has to ask one question though, did you do anything to any nation that might have led to this? Or was is peer terrorism? If it was peer terrorism, the CKZ might will try to help locate, and disarm this terrorist group. If it the attack was for a ligit reason, the CKZ will not help. Also, if this was an attack by a nation wishing to start a war with Cicera, please step forth so the CKZ can see the postition on this.
28-03-2004, 07:49
No, Cicera has always been peaceful with its fellow nations, and has never waged war against any nation. Also, if you could send a representitive from Zarathoft to Puerto Cecilia, Cicera, to claim any of the lost 123 international passengers.

It is believed that 11 of those passengers were citizens of the Austar Union. They are believed to be members of the International Automotive Club, visiting other clubs around the globe.

We ask that we send Johnathon Killergy to help identify these eleven citizens. Thankyou...

The CKZ believes that a Zarithian family of 3 was aboard the vessal. The CKZ has identfied the people that died in the attack. They are 37 year old male John Cashic, 36 year old female Rita Cashic, and 11 year old male Trevor Cashic. The CKZ requests that Cicera allows us to search for their bodies among the wreckage (though by the looks of the damage, the chances of finding them are slim).

We hate to add insult to injury, but apparently you have used CNN without contacting us, the owners of CNN and all of Turner Broadcasting, first. This is a transgression finable by international law, and the fine you must pay us is a cool $5 million per use of the CNN airways. By our count you used them only once, so you must pay us a single fine of $5 million. Failure to comply with these laws will result in litigation and/or invasion.

You have 48 hours before we mail the subpoeina. Simply send us the cash, and we will drop the charges.

((OOC: And yes, we are serious))

I never new someone had already had CNN, it stood for Ciceran National News, and I have taken off the CNN part of the title, if that helps.

Dear Officials of the Austar Union,

Johnathon Killergy is welcome to come, and an appointment will be set up with our Foreign Minister Loreen Amaya. Also, Mr. Killergy can fly into the Comalapa International Airport, and stay at the UN Building in Puerto Cecilia as a guest. We have also found one of the 11 Victims, with an Austar Passport, who was washed up on the shore, who apparently was blown into the ocean by the initial imact of the torpedo.

As for Zarathoft,

Rita Cashic was recovered in a life boat, and is in good condition. She will be flown into the capital of Zarathoft, on Aero del Sol flight 213. John Cashic is still alive, and is hospitalized, as he suffered mild head trauma from sources unknown. Unfortunately, Trevor Cashic has not been identified, and is presumed one of the 1,959 that went down with the ship.
A representitive of the CKZ is welcome, and will have similar accomadations to the representative of the Austar Union

March 28, 2004 - Ciceran Officials have ruled out that the attack was not by an Islamic Terrorist Group, as 469 Muslims were among the dead. The Parliament has also haulted sea travel, and the Royal Navy is on alert, as any international submarine may be attacked onsight. The death toll has also risen, as a boy in his pre-teens has died from a concussion, and a woman in her 30s died of a heart attack.
The RMS Hispania was enroute to Puerto Cecilia from Nuevo Leon, were the ship and captain Pedro Calamai would have celebrated 5 years in service.

Is there still any threats to the nation of Cicera? If so, the CKZ will send have 75 submarines, 20 battleships, and 5 carriors to help patrol your shores and keep your nation safe. If this is okay to you, we will have them set sail. Also, if you need any air/land support, contact the CKZ and we will help.

While there is no official threats, the country is on high alert. We would also ask of you to send 30 submarines to assist the Royal Navy in protecting the Ciceran Coast.

A prosperous relationship that is indeed welcomed by the people of Cicera. To bring the nations closer, I propose an Austar Embassy in the capital of Leon, and a Cicerna embassy in Zarathoft. In other news, we have also identified a member of the International Automotive Club, who was found alive, and is being accomadated at the UN in Puerto Cecilia.

Camewot has reasons to beliefe among the 469 Muslims there was a Camewotian couple. The victims(?) are: John Moubdallah, 39 years old and Aisha Moubdallah-Wecker, 35 years old.
I hope Cicera has already found the bodys or the victims and otherwise we would like to send an expert.

We don't know what aid we can give other than protection from further submarine attack, I run a tight ship when it comes to submarine defense, and if you dont mind some temporary damage to your undersea environment we could be patroling your waters within the next day or so. without cuasing damage it could take a couple of days. ay leads you have we'd be happy to try and follow up, as our nation specializes in international communications networks and the internets. We at least are sure that none of our own citizens were aboard, though we offor our condolances.

Austar Union - Actually, Johnathon Killergy has not landed at the Comalapa, and we have not recieved him at the UN Building. Mr. Killergy was supposed to leave the Austar Union on Aero del Sol flight 981, connect in Douglas, U.K, and arrive in Puerto Cecilia on Aero del Sol flight 321.

Moozimoo - Well, it could have been an Islamic Terrorist Group, but 469 Muslims sure is a lot. The group clearly went through records of the ship, passenger list, and cargo, because of the fact that the torpedo had hit the first class storage room, where in a wealthy mans storage room, he had a truck load of Chinese Firecrackers.

Camewot - We have identified Aisha Moubdallah-Wecker, who is in critical condition, as it appears she was sucked into still-turning propellers. She has lost her left leg though. She is in the San Cristobal National Hospital, and she can be transported to Camewot, but the decision is yours. As for John Moubdallah, he has not been identified yet, and a Camewot Official will be welcome to come and try to identify Mr. Moubdallah.

Emperor Fenix - We thank you for your condolances, but we do not need any marinal support. Although we have found e-mails from a Mr. John Abraham, which include blueprints of the ship and maps of the ships route, that you might want to look into.

Well, the national airlines, Aero del Sol, has restricted flights in and out of the country. The next flight to Camewot, according to an airline representitive, is in about three days, on Flight 610. If your expert is willing to wait, he will fly in at the Comalapa International Airport, and be accomodated at the UN Building in Puerto Cecilia. Mr. Vandaleea, however, may fly in on a government plane, but the decision is yours.

To the people of Cicera,

A small, human-sized dispatch of our swarm (http://www.kaijuphile.com/rodansroost/kaijustats/graphics/destoroyah/destoroyah.jpg) were among the guests on the RMS Hispania. They were able to escape and reunite with the swarm, but we have been severely angered by this bold attack in our very presence. Our dominion will, for the time being, pledge its support in wiping out the groups responsible.

The nation of New Vladivostok is outraged by this attack, and pledges whatever support our small nation can provide to the people of Cicera. Among the dead is believed to be Senator Vladimir Bolov and his wife Mina. It is possible that he was the target, though we do not know who would have a motive for such a dastardly deed. If the nation of Cicera determines the guilty party, then we shall gladly join your armies on the field of life and death.

A team of divers is ready to be dispatched at your request.
01-04-2004, 05:29
Destoroyah - We have no records of the swarm being guests on the ship, and we have reason to believe that these guests have incredibly sharp scythes. We have reason to believe that these scythes may have been the cause for rips in the ships bow, that were previously thought to have been caused by the impact of when the ship hit the ocean floor. Experts at the University of Leon believe that these cuts in the bow were made about minutes before the torpedo hit. This, infact, may have caused the ship to sink even faster. If it is okay, our experts would like to examine the swarm, and determine if their scythes were infact the cause of the rips in the bow. Even if they are not responsible for the rips, they will be charged in a court of law for sneaking onto the ship. Please remember that we are not at war, but all travel and trade will be banned between the countries for the next few weeks.

New Vladivostok - We are please to inform you that the Mr. and Mrs. Bolov are still alive, and in good condition. They are currently on there way to New Vladivostock, on Aero del Sol Flight 315.

Rabalo - We thank you for your sympathy, but we wish to leave the ship on the ocean floor. We have already salvaged most of the bodys and valuables from the ship.
