It is the pleasure of the Juumanistran Space Consortium to announce that the first of its new class of medium carriers, JDS Vicksburg, has just finished its field trials with the Juumanistran Navy and is being outfitted for immediate service within the fleet, as are her nearly complete sisters. With their entrance into service, we are obliged to make available an export version of this new vessel.
The Constantinople-class of carriers has been designed to replace the aging Hellespont-class light carriers in fleet operations, which have proved ill-equipped for fleet support. She boasts a bigger fighter wing than the Hellespont and is capable of operating greater numbers of fighters with less risk.
In addition to providing support for the Delphi-class fleet carriers, the Constantinople-class was also designed to be the centerpiece of Juumanistran patrol task forces, as well as planetary defense forces. She is also one of the biggest bargains offered by Juumanistra.
