Xin Jiang to Offer Contract

27-03-2004, 21:29
I come before you today to offer a contract to any nation willing to uphold it's end of the deal.

The plan is as proposed

We are looking for a nation that is willing to hold a joint military with our nation. In other words, we would like a nation that will let their military be put at our disposal, and our country will pay for any damages or losses.

All details are negotiable, if you are interested please post, and we can work on further details.

Whats the catch?

OOC: There is no catch, Xin Jiang being such a small nation I need military, so therefore, instead of my buying my own equipment, I use somone elses, and pay for losses and damages, until I get big enought to buy my own stuff.

If you can make it economically profitable for the Coxian National Government, we will consider heeding our military to you as a sort of fight-for-hire army.

To: Li Mu Bai, King, Kingdom of Xin Jiang

Sir, your proposal is an intriguing one. However, before the Adejaani forces can commit, please allay our fears. Does "In other words, we would like a nation that will let their military be put at our disposal", mean that you would seek to use our military to wage your wars? If that is so, you must understand, sir, that you will not be allowed, if an agreement is reached, to wage wars of an aggressive nature, only defensive ones. If this change is met, Adejaani is willing to discuss this issue in depth.

When I had said that, what I was saying is that, in event of terrorist or other nations threating us, we would use the forces for defence and pay for the losses and damages. That would last until our nation grew to a size in which money could be made, and we could buy larger forces.

I don't think that it will be profitable, as I will like to only pay the losses and damages, because I don't have the best economics, of a larger nation.

The R.O.C expresses interest in stationing a squadron of strike aircraft in Xin Jiang for defensive purposes. We would also like to discuss further co-operation between our two nations in the areas of trade and cultural activities.

In that case, sir, the Land, Sea, Air and Space Forces of the Democratic Republic of Adejaani shall be at your disposal, should you decide to offer us the contract. In order to not impact on Adejaani's permanent military functions, only a smaller force shall be 'yours' to operate as you see fit, with additional forces becoming available at the discretion of my President.

The forces will be available all the time, but mostly to train your forces and to help set up infrastructure for when you do go independent.

We shall offer the full range and scope in our selected small force of Adejaani military forces so you have the widest range of options available.

Please note that for training, exercises and similar, we will pay for those costs for the training and exercises, but note that, for any of your personnel involved in training, you must pay their wages as you would pay for any and all military personnel. Costs to maintain military bases and similar infrastructure will be met in half (namely 50% of operating costs) by Adejaani.

We hope this agreement is suitable and I send our warmest regards to Adejaani's newest ally.

As for the forces, I realize that you would only allow our nation to use a small percentage, and would like to know the specifics of the forces that you are offering.

The summary of forces are as follows, in brief:

• Naval forces consisting of two Cruisers; four Destroyers; four Frigates; two Submarines; one Logistics ship

Again, we stress that this amount is only what's 'permanently' at your disposal. Additional forces can and will be deployed should there be a need to, though we're willing to increase what's on offer, should you ask for it.
