Urgent News (Capitol of His Lord, Merkmier)
After the assassination of King Daniel II of His Lord, the rebel group C.A.R.M. (Citizens Against Ruling Monarchies) led an assault on the capitol of His Lord, Merkmier, destroying the royal palace, killing the royal family, and burning down the parliamentary meeting hall.

When asked why, leader of the rebel group, Sir William of Sniel commented “The aggressive actions taken by our former king (King Daniel II) against the Palestinian Authority was the last straw. His and his government’s war mongering ways have to stop and the only way that this country can be purified of this is by erasing any references to him, his government, and his family”.

Although C.A.R.M. has been thought of as a peaceful group, their violent and lethal actions during today’s assault tend to point to the opposite.

C.A.R.M. has seized control of the “government” of His Lord, and in their wake, has changed the country from a Holy Republic to Incorporated States, stating it is a better suited name for the country and hopes that its change will be the last one needed to erase the royal family and their government from the lands of His Lord.

Although it appears the C.A.R.M.’s have won the Civil War and set up a democracy their still remain approximately 50,000 troops loyal to the royal family and its only reaming member, Prince Patrick III, and are holding out in the eastern portion of the country in and underground bunker. These 50,000 loyal troops along with the troops of The Fiefdom of European Collectives could be enough to overwhelming C.A.R.M. troops and restore the monarchy in His Lord.

We can only pray for a quick end to this revolution, which combined with the recent attacks on the nation by use of ICBM’s, number casualties in the range of half a million.

OOC: No offense unified sith, but people don't just send 1 million guys over to a conflict. And if you did you have be able to transport them, which would take a long time.

H.L.N. (His Lord’s News) reported today from the capitol of His Lord, Merkmier, that has been under heavy assault from Unified Seth forces is, to the amazement of many, holding out quite well due to the fortification measures emplaced by Hallad.

In other news, H.L.N. reports that the royalists are retaking cities in the eastern part of the country including Libilia and Aircroft, to name a few. These, once C.A.R.M. strong holds were decimated last night after the Unified Sith launched a surprise ICBM attack which wiped out the cities defenses.

At this time H.L.N. can not even begin to project who the winner of this war will be. After interviewing senior leaders of both forces, it is clear that both feel that they are winning and that they will win.

MiG's from the Naval groups carriers suddenly boomed to life, the deck of the ships bustling with movement. Two attack groups (24 planes) took off on a bombing raid against Sith Forces surrounding the city.

Jordaxian helicopters on loan to the Unified Sith, realise what 24 dots on the radar means and attempt to remove themselves to a safe distance. Unfortunately 13 were destroyed in total. 8 Mi24 Ultras, and 5 K-47 Goths.

The Community of Mafikeng absolutely condemns all sides in this conflict for intervening in what was an internal matter. While the contingent of peacekeepers sent by Hallad is regarded as a legitimate presence in Our Lord,we call on all other belligerants to withdraw from Our Lord territory. The Community is prepared to dispatch 10,000 peacekeepers to IMPARTIALLY keep the peace unitl such time as an interim government can be elected by the people of Our Lord. We recommend that all other interested parties limit their involvement to within the boundaries of international law.

33 Jordaxian Mi-24's take off from the hastily established Jordaxian base near the Sith lines, destined for the outskirts of the capital. 80 K-47's accompany them. The Jordaxian navy moves as close as it can get in order to commence strikes on Hellad positions.

Jeremy Cross was looking down at the Sith encampment. They had made it to the city in time. An Honour Guard formed around the 200 FH-155-1 155mm's. The 3rd Armoured Corp. of a thousand men entreched around them (with armour support). The 1st and 2nd Armoured Corps set up on either flank of the Sith army, the the artillery barrage began.

And in the latest news the ALmighty Justin Wayne, King of JK, has sent 10,000 troops to the aid of the royals of his lord and to help with Unified Sith.

135 Halladi soldiers were knocked out.

The Infantry Division immediatly fortified nearly all buildings in the city, and the 4th Armoured division was in the streets. 400 MiG-29's syddenly took to the sky. Attacking all enemies in sight.

The Armoured Division began a pinser movement into the sith forces.

Jordaxian helicopters were ordered to descend to street level, in between the buildings, in order to defend against the MiG's.
Jordaxian helicopters were caught by surprise by the relocation of AA guns to the artillery, and pulled back to better protect the Sith armoured assault. 20 helicopters total were destroyed, as they refused to retreat along with the main strike force. All destroyed were K-47 Goths, as they believed that their superior maneuverability would enable them to better avoid AA fire, and would not pull back from attacking artillery positions.

I.I.N. Urgent Bulletin: C.A.R.M. leader captured in capitol; Police suspects planning over through in Kingdom of Tritony!

Irish Isle police report today that they have captured a top official of C.A.R.M. Officals say C.A.R.M. spy, Eleanor A. Rutherford was planning to lead an uprising in The Kingdom of Tritony, a neighboring kingdom. Police apprehend Ms. Rutherford while she was boarding a train leaving for Tritony. When asked to show I.D. for a simple check before she boarded, officials say that’s when things got weird. Chief of police Smith said “when we asked her to show her I.D. she got very defensive…she started screaming about civil rights and freedom of speech.” “After repeated attempts to calm her down we had no choice but to arrest her for disturbing the peace, that when we found the documents linking her to C.A.R.M.” Lead prosecutor for T.A.S.T.I.I.
