Today, Credonian Emperor Alexander Suton walked out of a conference held on Boa Vista on the issue of revitalizing and reforming the International Allied Defense Agency, a moderate sized alliance founded by Credonia under President Kaimoni Sutton nearly 5 months ago. Upon walking out of the conference following Austar Union's President Hoffman, members of the press asked him the following:
Sir, does this mean that Credonia is no longer part of the IADF?" asks a reporter.
"Yes it does. The IADF does not represent what Credonia stands for in this changing day and age." He replies.
"What do you think will happen to the IADF now thta Credonia, one of the key members, and a permanent Security Council member has left the alliance?" Asks a journalist.
"I'm not sure. The future of the IADF is not clear nor is it defined anymore. As was stated in the conference earlier by a couple attending nations was the point that the alliance is a relic of the past and it no longer reflects things changing in the world. While it was made for the purpose of defense, i believe that some type of action should be taken to uphold the defense of natons and protect them, whether it be political action or miltiary action, preemptive or retalitory, and quite frankly, this alliance does not provide for that. There are factions that wish to keep it defensive and unactive unless a nation is attacked. When Credonia was attacked by a common enemy, where was the IADF then? Only Austar Union came to the aid. That should not have happened. If this alliance wre unified and intact, then the IADF as a whole would have backed Credonia. But that did not happen, so that is what has contributed to my resignation from this alliance. No more questions please"
It is said that plans are underway with Austar Union to hold a conference soon to begin a new alliance. No more details have been released.
