Image of Betus (planetary images "for hire")

Benderland presents the first image from the Extraterrestrial Colony of Betus. Although the planet has been colonized for quite some time, this is one of the images the planetary probe took when first orbiting the planet:

(OOC: I created this image using a program called Terragen. It's originally designed to produce landscapes such as mountains, lakes, valleys, etc. However, it took quite some time for me to tweak the program so it would simulate a shot from low orbit over a planet. You may want to check out this program for that reason or others. However, since I have the configuration saved to a file, I can reproduce low-orbit shots with different lighting, atmosphere, terrain, angle, etc. Just give me a description of the planet you want me to render and I'll give it a shot.)

OOC: Would you like a contract with Planetary Productions? Basicaly, its Magrathea, NS style.
We produce (small) custom planets for people, and a person to make the images would be quite nice.
ICly I could offer you up to %35 of the profits from each sale (quite a lot), and a free planet

OOC: How do you go about creating custom planets for people? Also, I don't need another planet.

OOC: I meant a 'personal' planet, the maximum size is a 100 mile diameter, this is to avoid gravetic issues and such.
The 'cheap' way to make one is basicaly a large gravity generator, with lots of others around it, this is covered over with whatever your surface choice is, and then the environment is put into place (trees, animals whatever). The whole thing is constructed in place, with a pre-selected orbit.
The MUCH more expensive way is to make a 'real' planet, solid down the the core. Of course gravity generators are still needed to keep the atmosphere on the thing.

Of course it proboably wouldnt work in real life, but thats what NS is for.

Pics would not have to be especialy accurate, simply a rough guide (or not, as you please) to what a planet looks like.

OOC: I'm going to have to decline. I'd like to stick to the "real" planets that people discover, rather than create. Besides, I'm not doing this for money.
