<<OOC: I just want to pre-empt something... I will be mentioning a territory called "Axackal" a number of times here. This is not the same Axackal as was involved in Arda and did a bunch of stuff (I don't really know much about it as I was in Mexico and on a long break during said incident). Axackal and Axackal II were both puppets created by Allanea. One was taken by Edolia as part of a peace settlement, the other was sold. So... Edolian Axackal has nothing to do with the Arda nation! Don't ask!>>

“The Impërator, Erik von Blätterschplitt announced an expansion of the Edölian military today to build up defenses in the territory of Axackal. The defense plan calls for a number of steps including the construction of additional Titan guns and the creation of a number of ‘Axackali People’s Defense Legions.’ The Impërator hailed this move as a ‘step towards securing the people of Axackal forever from the aggression of its neighbors.’ He was of course referring to Allanea, a nation to which Axackal previously was a dependent of.”

In an effort to secure the Edölian Province of Axackal (Special Economic Zone) from foreign aggression, a number of steps are to be taken, some immediate, some over a longer period of time.
In an effort to better secure Axackal against foreign aggression, the immediate and semi-permanent deployment of a large military force to the Province is to be undertaken. Included in this deployment are the following:
I, III, IV, V and X (Five in total) Imperial Legions
II, IV, V (Three in total) Mobile Strike Legions
I, II, X (Three in total) Urban Assault Legions
An additional deployment of artillery, mobile rocket launch systems, anti-air defense systems and other heavy equipment is pending.
Furthermore, I, IV, V, VI and XI Air Wings are to be immediately dispatched to Axackal to assist in defenses.
All forces will arrive within two weeks and will immediately begin the construction of temporary defensive lines along the Axackali-Allanean border. All commanders and soldiers are to be briefed in Allanean offensive and defensive tactics. The II, IV and V Amphibious Assault and III, X and XI Red Eagle Legions are to be mobilized but placed on stand-by for deployment in the case of hostilities.
The construction of a large number of military emplacements along the Axackali-Allanean border is to take place, including SAM batteries, artillery, missile emplacements and shore-defense guns. The location and number of these weapons is still under debate.
A mixture of Edölian and allied weaponry will be used. It is expected that Scandavian contractors will be hired to build a large portion of the coastal defenses.
The designation of a demilitarized zone two kilometers wide along the Axackali-Allanean border. Roads will be blocked and all passes monitored for illegal traffic.
Edölian commanders will be instructed to destroy any and all unauthorized traffic through the zone and to give no warning before firing. This is to prevent illegal Allanean arms smuggling into Axackal and Scandavian States.
The construction of a large number of Titan guns to supplement already existing Titan gun emplacements.
