The RINN announced today that it has ordered a new submarine based on the Palace-class SSBN to counter the threat of very large naval vessels. The proposed Anguist-class submarines would have forty-eight vertically launched rapid heavyweight torpedoes in place of sixteen ballistic missiles. It is hoped that such a massive underwater blast would create sufficient damage to cripple such enormous vessels.
This has been Ferdinand Tupper for INBC 1.
And so it begins. If you want assistance in the development of this particular sub (Which I assume you mean to counter the Doujin), you can always ask.

[OOC: Well, the NS community was asked to be inventive... However, if trade and treaty agreements are made, I'd be glad to reconsider this project. Thanks for the offer of assistance, though; I'll probably need to take you up on that!]
The Anguist-class submarine will take about five years [ca. 5 RL days] to build from laying the "keel" to launching.
Trade and Treaty agreements can be made :) Doujin is a more "passive" nation. We will go to the edge of war, but when it comes to it we always back down.. as we don't want to risk damages to our ship building facilities.

Isselmere-Nieland is perfectly amenable to agreements. Thanks!
