* At the edge os space a small space craft emerges heading towards the distant planet the oragin of a broadcasted signal the hive had recived and decided to investigate upon.
The cuttle fish transport was a small - medium sized hive vessel used for small scouting missions. he biological ship looked exactly like a giant cuttle fish over 40 meters in lenth its black carapace armour shimmering in the light from nearby stars.
On the bridge of the Cuttle Fish transport Vessel the ships avatar stood looking over the biological control displays receving masses of information every second. Turning towards what can only be described as a large insectoid creature literally pluged into the ship the avatar commanded a well jump.
The ship lurched as its gravitational feild merged with the closest planet to their target their ship swirled and then reappeared as the feilds merged then seperated pulling the ship across the vast distance of space in a flicker of an eye. Looking back at its console the avatar opend up an audio transmission with JiangGuo*

A tin voice crackled onto the air, totally neutral with no accent of any form its speach was simple and the languidge had never before been heard and yet it reached deep into the minds of the listeners so that they understood the message somthing primal within them awakening to the strange sounds the message was:

The Information regarding the crashed Unidentified Flying Object within the Territorial Boundries of the Nation called JiangGuo has been checked, approved, inspected, and identified as actual claims from this nation, along with classified knowledge gained from identifing. With this knowledge we kindly inform the Government of JiangGuo that we, the Colony of Nodea Rudav, shall send forces at the time we so choose. No colonial forces will fire upon any JiantGuo citizen, military personnel, and so on, but will investigate this in further detail on our own, and will ensure that if we are not allowed entry, we will take it for our own, allies of us will be only ones allowed to inspect.

Either way, you will not be able to locate the spacecraft in our posession as you do not know of its location. Our nation has over 3000 individual islands and various types of terrain, and the facility in which the craft is stored is perfectly camoflauged.

You see, we have no intention of invading you nation, rather, as with every Motherworld Earth Nation, we would rather Ally with it. We mean not to invade, we could do that if we WERE Imperialistic, in which we are not and ARE HIGHLY AGAINST.

IC: We are mobilizing the 69th Legion to protect JiangGuo assets. However, they will stay on the CF mainland unless the JiangGuo government requests it.

We truly believe that these imperialist actions are not concorant with the Nodean government's policies and we hope that this crisis can be averted.

Also, we are participating in this research alliance, despite our possesion of a FTL drive, to better all human life. Specificaly, new medical or engineering technologies that may make civilian areas safer or better could result from an extensive analysis of the craft.

The Republic of Demidia cannot stress this enough, JiangGuo is in control of this entire operation. Our LASER Squadron will not disturb any part of the experiments, but will command the defense of the project. They will arrive at the site in 2 hours aboard the Iroquois Class Destroyer

The Federation of JiangGuo requests that no other member our Research Alliance send any military forces onto JiangGuoian territory. There is much public outcry involving the stationing of foreign troops on JiangGuoian soil, and despite their known intentions, there is much anxiety. Moreover, the strain placed on your logistical systems will be substancial. There is also the possibility that traffic patterns could reveal the position of our hidden facility containing the spacecraft.

a) An advanced data processing device utilising quark logic, that would revolutionise computing. Efforts to replicate this device is in its final stages, the only problem now being that after five hour of operation the device has a tendency to damage itself for unknown reasons. :(

b) A very advanced class of sensor that holds great promise for Defense applications. The fundamental principles of how it operates is too complex to explain, but they have been deduced. We're still a long way off from any utilisation though.

c) A programming algorithim that allows for projection of what an organism would be in physiological terms, if the DNA/RNA sequence was inputted. This algorithim has been adapted for use in computing languages already avaliable. This holds great promise for our efforts in Genetic Engineering.

d) Anti-matter containment techniques from the spacecraft have been replicated successfully. This holds great promise in our efforts to develop antimatter weapons :twisted: , however, we have yet to understand how antimatter is converted aboard the craft :cry: so we're still a way off from being armed with antimatter projectile weapons... :roll:

e) Last but not least, the FTL (Faster than Light) populsion systems, colloquially known as the Warp Drive. The power distribution system used are far too complex to be understood, even by Friyusistan experts who had worked on the Friyusistan Hyperdrive Project. None of the less, if efforts to replicate this "Warp Drive" succeeds, the maximum relative speed avalaible for a small space craft would be in excess of 60,000 times the speed of light!

Planet Earth, Low Orbit over the Nation of JiangGuo

Space distorted somewhat, not as wobbles or ripples, just enough to tell that something bothered the natural state of the physical and non-physical terms of existance. Milliseconds after the distortion started, it began to increase into a very apparent rippling of the backround of stars, if looked at from a telescope from below, or at any side for that matter expect from above where a small part of the Earth would look distorted.

The distortion climaxed to a point where it took shape of something as bluish-golden beams of light broke the darkness of the distortion, little by little over a two second period, to confirm that something was shaped. Then, one millisecond after the completion of the beams of light all around the distortions face, it climaxed to a blinding sky-blue light, the intense brightness lighting the already lit side of the planet some more as a ship of some sort took the place of the once-apparent distortion.

High General Willis Yar'Ja sat back in the Generals Seat, his Second-in-Command sat beside him in his specified seat. Looking to Chief Commondore Szee'Tar, his Second-in-Command and a Komodren, he looked back forward at the bridge ports that allowed those on the bridge to see into space. It was made of thick Digital Glass, called so because of the Digital Read-outs able to be seen in it, went around the bridge on all sides. It was made of some type of strong glass-like material, one that was manufactured way back when in the early 1990's. Still proven to be trustworthy, it was used for this space ship, which wasn't, as Willis thought with a silent laugh, so futuristic as many would care to think.

Looking over to his left side and out into the beautiful view of the Earth, Chief General Yar'Ji sighed. Long time since the Colonial Space Forces Command called off patrols into Sol because of lack of reason, if not resources, to even keep patroling unless truly needed. Right now Willis's ship, the CFAC Oblivion, was given permission to Sub-Space here to check on a vertian finding by a new nation on the surface of Motherworld Earth. Wasn't much of a duty, but he was given slight orders, if he so choosed, to launch scouting units of XSF-01 Star Sabre's and XSF-04 Star Phantom's in and around the nations territory to maintain a common presence, but not to look threatning.

Right now, however, Chief General Willia Yar'ji just wanted to keep looking at the old Motherworld, truly beautiful in sight.

The CFV Patton, a Dreadnought class battleship had detected the Nodean's entry into the system. It moved towards the Nodean ship at a cautious pace. If any hostile actions were taken against the nation of JiangGuo, the Patton would intervene.

High General Willis Yar'Ja nodded to the calm report from the sensor officer, "I suspected such. Keep the orbit juuuust above JiangGuo. I want to keep them wondering."

Chief Lieutenant Connos nodded back to the High General, swivling the seat back to face his station. He monitered the sensors station, which used Microwave Pulses, Microwave Pulse Spheres, and any other style of sensoring that could be used with microwave technology. It was a relativly unknown concept to most Nations, so they had ity easy finding something rarely taken advantage of.

However, a small alert signaled a new contact by a regular pulse sent to keep acurate readings of the surrounding area. This time Chief Lt. Connos didn't look at the High General, keeping a close eye on the read-out moniter on the console instead. "High General," Connos started to report, "it seems microwave pulses have picked up an object with the configuration that resembling a space ship. I believe we are being watched very closely."

Nodding to the report, High General Willis looked to his Second-in-Command, Chief Commondore Szee'Tar, grinning. Looking back quickly to the bridge digital-glass ports that lined the front and sides of the bridge to see into space, he spoke to the Sensor Officer. "Chief Lt. Connos, keep them knowing were watching closely. Make the pulses strongest in their direction, they'll detected something alright."

Obeying the command, Chief Lt. Connos got to work, knowing that the intense frequency of the pulses could be directed via one of the many small dishes in the sesnory room at the front of the ship. One indeed did swivle on its connection to the Microwave Generator, in which Microwave Frequencies were converted for sensory use. Sending the intense Microwaves in the direction of the large ship, details smaller than a normal scan would detect were able to be picked up, and able to be detected by the object it was aimed at if that object had some sort of detection method.

Sensors in JiangGuo has also detected this vessel in direct orbit above our nation. All military units in JiangGuo have been placed on high alert.

Regretably, we have no orbit-capable spacecraft, so our space defense is currently reliant on other Alliance members. However, if any foreign parties attempt to pirate the spacecraft from our possession, military forces of JiangGuo will not hesitate to commence engagement by any means avaliable.

Strange interference with commerical and military radio equippment have been noted in various areas throughout JiangGuo, but the disturbances caused are minimal.

Nevertheless, as a security measure against electronic eavesdropping. All secure trasmissions from Research Facility #105 have been ceased. The only transfer of data from the facility have been carried by physical courier of encrypted paper documents.

I'm sure that as leaders of Alliance member nations, your scientific advisors have been swamping your office with endless streams of paper with scientfic jargon all over it :shock: .

So this is a summary for you 'in a nutshell':

Antimatter projectile weapons: We are so close! Close enough that you may wish to start commissioning weapons slots for them on your military craft.

Advanced Sensor System ('Agatha'): Many breakthroughs have been made with replicating this device. It will however take another 3-5 years to perfect for use.

FTL Propulsion system: Our joint efforts still have yet to make any advancement with the understanding of the power distribution system. An alternate design using known native technology has been considered, but the maximum relative speed will be dropped to 3,000 times the speed of light :x We hope that it will not come to this measure to build an operational model.

City Ship Brigand, hovering close to Earth Lagrange Point 1, summarily detected the large ship, IFF coded Inchon Assault Cruiser; Oblivion.
With a subtle rumble, the ship's Matsu-Gravas DT Drive flared out, energy arcs from the prototype Dimensional Jump Drive skittering over the eerie blue hull.
Without much fanfare, the DTD pushed the ship into dimensional flux, and the 10000 kilometre long colony ship disappeared.

Alas, the Federation of Wetland is still young and as such has not yet have any assets in space. We have however a seat in the board of the UNSC. Colonel Carrington, the commander of the Patton's trooper force stepped foward "Well, sir, we do have over two thousand elite troopers onboard. We could try and board the Nodean craft, if it comes to that."

Weapons officer Bates stepped foward "Sir, our ship is much more heavily armed than the Nodean craft. We could destroy them with our weapons, we wouldn't even have to resort to Carrington's troopers." Bates said the name Carrington with disdain. It was well known that the Space forces and the Elite Trooper Corps did not get along.

Lastly Ensign Polaski stepped foward "Sir, we have over four and a half kilometers of ship here. I'm confident that we could simply ram the Nodean Craft."

The recent arrival of Wetland's top scientists at Research Facility #108 had a stimulating effect on the research conducted. A mininiturisation specialist provided a vital solution to a problem in the development of the 'Agatha' sensor project.

The current projected maximum range for the Agatha sensor is 7,000 kilometers in planetary conditions, and is expected to be tenfold or above for extra-planetary conditions.

'Agatha' will be capable of high resolution imagery and will be capable of detecting objects as small as a 0.5m cube from maximum range. The system is expected to be completed for deployment within 2 to 3 years.

The power distributon problem within the FTL populsion ('Warp Drive') project has been solved by a JiangGuoian engineer. And the FTL propulsion prototype is complete; a full systems test is scheduled within several months. (OOC: 1 Real day assumes 1 year in NS)

In lighter news, a JiangGuoian male Mathematician has proposed to a Friyusistan physicist on the scientific team, and the proposal was accepted. Unless the Friyusistans has any concerns, the wedding will be within the year.

"...five..." A male voice boomed from a set of P.A speakers.

"...four..." In the epicentre of a circular 1.5km radius jungle clearing. An elevated platform the size of a helicopter pad could be seen. Mounted on it, was a tear-dropped shaped craft with the sharp end facing upwards.

"...three..." 2.0km away from the clearing, lies a control centre/bunker.
A collection of technicians makes final checks on the launch status on various screens and readouts.
An line of large green lights is lit on the front of the control centre, directly above the main display. Underneath each light were labels of various spacecraft functions, such as 'Control systems' and 'Navigation'.
"All systems report GO." The launch commander declares. "We're go for launch."

Satellites have indicated to the Core Space Defense Agency that a small ship has launched from a nation called Jianguo. The satellites continue to monitor events and make scans of this ship.

"zero...polarise!" The voice on the P.A system boomed in a climax.

Instead of a conventional liquid-gas booster. The JGS Pioneer , the Federation of JiangGuo's first FTL propulsion prototype shot towards the heavens without a trickle of flame or vapour; the launch was performed using magnetic-repulsion methods.

At the moment of launch, the magnetic charge on the charging/launching pad was reversed so that it attained the same charge as those on the craft. The resulting magnetic repulsion would propel the craft on a vertical axis at 50,000 km/h within 0.2 seconds, more than the Earth's escape velocity and to compensate for frictional losses in speed.
The downside to this system was that the G-forces involved would kill any living crew involved, so it was not usable with crewed spacecraft.

[OOC: I know, the physics of this is hardly solid, but this is RP]

The Pioneer carried no living crew, but carried instruments that would measure the effects of FTL travel on human passengers.

Within 30 seconds, the craft had left the bounds of the ionsphere and was in low earth orbit. The momentum of the craft carried the Pioneer forward in the vacuum of space.

Two long protrusions extended from the rear of the teardrop shape, pulsing with a dull red glow. These are the nacelles of the FTL Propulsion system. The onboard computer followed the programmed instructions for the flight dutifully to the last byte.

The intensity of the colours in the nacelles increased gradually, from dull red to orange, to deep blue, before reaching a climatic white glow. And for a moment, the length of Pioneer seem to be stretched impossibly long, before it disappeared as a streak of white light in the vector towards Pluto.

5 and a half hours later, the staff at the control centre/bunker cheered and applauded uncontrollably in an outburst of emotion- and triumph!
On the main screen was the image of Pluto, taken from a camera mounted on the Pioneer from high orbit. Even at the speed of light, the radio signal sent by the Pioneer took 5 and a half hours to reach Earth. However, it was undeniable proof that the Pioneer had succeeded. Telemetry transmitted would confirm that the flight from Earth orbit to Pluto took only 12.26 seconds (in relative terms) and that the effective speed of the Pioneer had been well excess of the speed of light.

After re-transmitting the same data three more times over 12 hours, the Pioneer re-engaged its FTL propulsion system and arrived in Earth orbit. As programmed into the main computer, the Pionner entered a rapidly degenerative orbit using small gas thrusters. Forty-five minutes later, the historic craft was retreived from the intended landing zone by the JiangGuoian Navy.

The mission of the Pionner is deemed a resounding success, and the Federation of JiangGuo had successfully entered the group of nations that have inter-stellar travel capability.

We congratulate our allies with making such a historic achievement. Finally we can explore the galaxy! And make a handsome profit too.

Flatcoff has no smile on his face, he explains to the Prime Minister that Demidia was the victim of a terrorist attack. By the Hammer of Darkness, one of the largest terrorist organizations in the world. They have caused up much trouble. The HoD have taken complete control of the south western quarter of the nation.

While I can beleive that you have millions of militia, I found it incredible that the Air Force sided with Rebel forces so quickly. If they didn't, why did they not ferry the plane to exile locations or destroy them on the spot to stop them from being captured?

The rebels are part of our country, 2-3 million rebels, men women children etc. It is NOT our nations army, but merely peasants. A large group of them is pushing towards Demidian controlled parts. They have also taken control over misc. tanks and armor.

As the RP starter, I feel that this RP has reached an unrealistic path and would like to terminate it prematurely. Continue by yourself if you want. But for now I'm just sitting and lurking.
