As more and more modern-tech nations develop Orbital weapons such as missile launchers or goldeneye-style EMP bombs, Raysia sees a need to counter them. Raysia's current defense system can handle anything that enters the air over our territory, but can do nothing about weapons in orbit.
Right now, Raysia is developing a new type of ammo for the Sky Cleaner defense AMEs. This ammo is a lightweight plastique explosive (capable of a 500 ton explosion) encased in a magnetic shell, with a minor sensor pod capable of figuring altitude and range.
The shell can be launched from the standard Sky Cleaner Mk II, and will launch with a muzzle velocity of rougly 8000 mph. It could easily hit anything in orbit over Raysia, detonating its explosive in the area of the satellite or whatever else may be targeted.
