OOC: really this would be Classifed but in the name of RP i might as well do this. anyone who gets involed is told by my goverment or you have a Ship in the area or spys (tho its hard to get spys in my nation but its not impossible). All weapons and suits etc are TAU (warhammer 40K) based. all symbals are Tau aswell.

At the Ege of The Dark Empire a small milltary build up was happening around a new world found. on the surface cites that seemed to have been there for billions of years and bomb from the orbit. a research team was exploreing one of the cities when they came a cross something strange.
what seemed to be a lab of some sort, with weapons far more advanced then the empire.
as well as specs for weapons there was something elce, something strange, a item of massive power.

we find it scary that you found out about this as fast as you did, we will allow you to send 1 ship, it will be escorted in by a she'klan corvette wing. each research team you send down will be escorted by at lest one researcher. any finds will be reported to a Dark Empire member to be reported to the Technomagi. as such if the Technomagi belive it to be so that our Empire should have such techs it will be shared with you. but if they feel we are not ready then they will keep it to them selves until such times they feel it should be relised.

The LRRSV Yellow Peril, after totally mistargeting its hyperspace drives and getting totally lost, locks onto the nearest planet-sized mass, which just happens to be the CoreWorlds dig site.

The captain looks out the window to see the massive fleet of Coreworlds starships.
