Development of Atomic Weapons
As our nation is 2 NS years away from the 100 million population benchmark, we find it neccessary to start development of an atomic bomb. This 1st working model should be finished in 2 NS years. Our goal is for the "Springfield Project" to produce a 15Kt plutonium bomb and a 15Kt uranium bomb. We will build nuclear power plants to enrich uranium, and provide power. We are looking forward tohaving strategic detterence.
OCC: Homer Simpson will be the nuclear safty inspector at our plant. Expect numerous meltdowns.
WE are also trying to find a way to mate the warheads we are building with our Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missiles (TLAM). We are developing ICBMs to. Early versions should be completed in 2 NS years.

No weapon is neccessary, just because you're coming up to 100 million population doesn't mean you NEED nukes. I've got over 200 million and have no WMD.
I need them. I am Jewish and alot of people would love to kill a Jewish nation. They are neccessary.

Yeah, I've just passed 100mil and I see no reason for nukes. The way I see it, there are plenty of other people out there who I'm allied with who have nukes, so whats the use in me having them?

OK, but nukes aren't much of a defence. I'll make you a deal if you stop making them (you are still allowed to use them as power) If any anit-semetic person invades you on the grounds that you're jewish, or something equally as racist/stupid, me and my allies will defend you.
I'm sorry, but I need nukes. I will NOT use them offensively. Only as a defense. And besides, powerful nations have nukes.

Exactly, so even if you have them, they will be able to destroy your few nukes, while saturating your nation with nukes.

I find it amusing that you've sold countless nuclear weapons, often to young nations, already, when you haven't yet started a nuclear program.

Nuclear weapons aren't much of a defense. If you really need defences, get a missile defence system, spaceborne lasers, the like. I'm sure that one of the producers here would be happy to give you a discount on grounds of racism against your people. Y'know, once my laser defence program gets up and running, I'll even GIVE you a few. Why use nukes when they aren't necessary?
That was when I was a noob who didn't know about godmodding. I am more experienced now and am doing it right.
On a 2nd note, all are invited to the friday early morning test at Trinity.
On a 3rd note, Homer Simpson caused a meltdown at the plant. Head of the program, C. Montgomery Burns was going to fire him on spot, but his assistant, Waylan Smithers saved Homer's job when Homer was going to out Smithers.
