We are all aware of today's strike against terror mastermind and Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin. Despite earlier reports saying Israel carried out the strike, we can now say that we did. The Shalom Union, a strong supporter of Israel has been threatened by Hamas in recent days. We had been asked by Israel to intervene in her war on terrorism. We carried the strike out and succeeded. More will occur in the future. That is all I have to say.

After requests for additional information I can now reveal that the raid was carried out by F-35 JSF oporating from the carrier USS Halsey. They used JDAM guided munitions in the strike.

We are awaiting International Response and pledge to take part in more raids on Palestinian terrorists. These raids will be designed to limit civilian casualties and remove the terrorism threat that has hindered peace talks.

OCC: Killing terrorist leaders is not terrorism. It is military strategy and protecting your people from a psycho who targets kids on a bus. Israel designs their raids to minimize civilian deaths. Palestinian terrorists tend to try and kill as many civilians as possible.

The founding principles of Shang-Ti society include those of liberties and freedom; social, political, civil and economic.
As an advocate of peace and freedom, the Democratic Republic of Shang-Ti has always held the murderous atrocities implied by those of Ahmed Yassin in the lowest regards. Terrorist strikes on civilians and military personnel alike do not further the aim of peace, tranquility, and freedom.
However, the DRST does not support military action that results in the killing of innocent civilians, regardless of the justification, without first going through the appropriate diplomatic and legal processes.
The Palestinian Authority, regardless of one’s opinion of effectiveness in the past, was able to successfully apprehend Ahmed Yassin in the past. It was Israeli officials who released Yassin as an exchange after two Mossad agents were captured in Jordan.
The DRST feels this matter should have been handled by police forces, either Palestinian or IDF. Arrest was obviously not the original end result initiated by these strikes, this was clearly a military incursion into a diplomatic and/or police matter.
Although we do find fault in The Shalom Union’s methods in dealing Yassin, we are not saddened by his death. The official stance of DRST is that Hamas and Ahmed Yassin were terrorists of the most wanted caliber. We are saddened; however, by the prospect of retribution attacks by Hamas and other terrorist organizations, which will more than likely proliferate the seemingly endless cycle of hatred and war.
We hope that these military incursions will stop, that the Palestinian Authority will crack down on militants to prevent the need of military incursions, and that both sides will one day soon meet diplomatically in order to resolve these conflicts.
The Democratic Republic of Shang-Ti, in closing, offers its services to broker any diplomatic relation between parties of conflict to prevent the furtherance of bloodshed.

As the Foreign Minister of Homer Simpson1987, I would like to thank Shang-Ti for its honest opinion. I am glad you support actions against the terror group Hamas.
I would like to clear some things up. We are designing our raids to minimize civilian casualties. We had ample opportunities to get Yassin earlier, but they were called off due to the possibility of high civilian casualties. I would like to pledge publicly that we will NOT target civilians when fighting Hamas. We are going to fight our War on Terrorism and save the Palestinian civilians at the same time.
