Choerburg breaking away
Several politicians from the Attican State of Choerburg have requested complete independance from the Attican government. Attica, please reply with your response.
Kaiser Petinski looks upon the report in Choerburg with dismay.
'Send 2 legions of soldiers to Choerburg. Try to keep the peace.'
With that, 1 legion enters the boundaries of Choerburg, while another is en route.
"We will not stand for this", says the major political figure in Choerburg. "Prepare the militia. It looks like we'll have to resort to guerilla warfare."
As the first of the Infantry enter the City of Choerburg, they are greeted by neither applaus nor dismay. The people are quiet... too quiet...
Suddenly, the front line of citizens pull out machine guns. "We will fight for our independance!" The Attican infantry is attacked.
As the Infantry hear bullets, they immediately try to get to the Cheetah's machine gun. However, a bullet pierces thru the armor, and the gas tank, filled with hydrogen, ignites. The explosion is huge, reaching past the front line of civilians. At least 6 soldiers were killed in the blast. 3 other armored Cheetahs begin firing into the crowd with machine guns.
There are many casualties, almost 40% of all the people there. The citizens immediately retreat into the cover of buildings. They fire at the infantry from the windows.
"I need air strikes, NOW!"
'Affirmative. Need location. Hello?'

As another Cheetah, which had not had armor applied, ignited into flames, a building nearby shook, and it's foundation crumbled. It began collapsing. Meanwhile, 4 Maus-class Armored Vehicles entered the city, leaving a 2 inch wide crack in the pavement behind them.
20 people in that building perished. The remaining citizens see the armored vehicles and decide to retreat to a vantage point where more effective weapons are available.
The Maus vehicles continue at their slow rate of 10mph. They crush obstacles, such as cars, and corpses, in their path. Their effective 130mm gun fires at buildings, shattering them. Overhead, the sound of jets is heard, and then, a string of explosions rocks one of the rows of houses.

As the citizens retreat, the Armored and Infantry legions begin taking control of parts of the city. Several Panzerfaust shots hit the Maus', but the Maus, which it's foot thick armor, is practically impervious to that kind of weapon.

The citizens see that it is futile to attack the Maus's and therefore secure another boat and head towards the island of the politicans on the lake. The politicians talk about some form of negotiations.
OOC: That island must compress those people well.

As the Legions continue to secure the city of Chörburg, the other legion recently arrived, and has begun moving to secure small towns on the outskirts.
