My ancient collection of armoured military hard-ware needs to be modified.
I have 1 division of old is-3m tanks (soviet) that need to be brought to at least a 1980's standard.
These tanks were used in the 60's and were obsolete even then.

We recently procurred a sizable number of Soviet T-90 tanks, the most advanced of Soviet Tanks (I think)

We have 3,500 and we are selling them for a million each. Buy as many as you like, they're just going to be used as targets anyway.

EDIT: Arrgh, my bad, they were T-90's not T-80's. Oh well, even better.

the upgrades provided would include:

A new turret with an auto loader fed gun of your choice (120mm L44 NATO, 125mm soviet or 103mm ETC Crookfur) linked to a modern fire control system.
complete revamping of cominication systems (full digital secure radios with limited data capacity) and the addtion of night vision devices for all crew memebers (now reduced to 3).
An entirely new engine and transmission assembly with your chocie of petrol, diesal or alcohol engines (all feature a digital engine management system as standard).

Upgrade costs would be in the region of $900,000-$1.5million per unit.


If you decide to repalce these tanks with new frontline combatants we can provide alternative conversions for the chassis, including Marksman AA turrets (2 35mm guns with smart fuzed rounds, radar, EO/IR sensors and the option of short rnage missiles), SPG conversions (either NATO 155mm, Soviet 152mm or crookfur 160mm guns) or even possibly assault APC coversions (like the soviet BTR-T and the isreali centurion conversions).

Sold, they will be delivered once we recieve the wire of 3.5 Billion USD. I'll take 500 Million off if you give us your old tanks... since you are taking all of the one's I was going to use as targets.

Consider the cash wired and and the tanks, with the turrets facing the other way, on the way to your target range. (I could paint a target on them if you want?)

We have refurbished the tanks with a modern combat system, and uplink to the Aequatian Satellite Communication Network, a computer suite will be sent with them so that you can use the system as well. It is an excellent combat control and communication network.

The reactive armour on the tanks has been replaced so that any defective ones were fixed and the engines were overhauled. We can also provide personnel to train your crews in the new systems and the vehicles.

Shall we send them by transport plane or ship?

Transport planes for 3500 tanks would cost a lot so just ship them.
I shipped each of my old is-3s with bricks you can place on the accelerators if you want moving targets.
