Roania announces: "Al Anbar has our utmost support"

Roania

While, in the past, our two glorious nations may have had our differences, nevertheless we move to put that behind us. The nation of Al Anbar, and its President Saddam Hussein, have our full support in any action they care to take against the dogs of fundamentalist Islam, and those who stand against them.

Also, it is our sincere pleasure to announce that we will once again be re-opening our ports to Anbarian oil. Saddam Hussein is a great man, and a great ruler.

We hope that Al Anbar will continue to be the moderating influence it has been.

IC:

The Arab Socialist Republic of Al Anbar thanks the country of Roania for their unequivocal support of Al Anbar's policies. Al Anbar is preparing to send a diplomatical staff to Roania to open an embassy there immediately.

In the meantime, with the news of Roania reopening ports for Iraqi oil, the Ministry of Oil is open to all contracts offered by Roania for Iraqi oil.

Jeruselem, 2 words. Black... gold...

IC:

We thank President Saddam Hussein for his consideration, and are pleased to announce that we will, henceforth, always give Anbarian corporations first tender for oil contracts.

We would also request permission for Roanian soldiers to be stationed in Basra, and the port cities, for the defense of our ally, and their vital natural resources.

This will benefit both our nations.

Roania, you're aligning yourself with the two nuclear powers of the Middle East us = "Israel" and Al Anbar (sorta like Turkey at it's peak) to get the best of the region (religious and economic) aren't ya?
Roania
21-03-2004, 08:56
OOC: What's this religion you speak of? I want to get my soldiers into the Mediteranean sea and Indian Ocean!
21-03-2004, 08:57
Al Anbar cannot accept the positioning of foreign soldiers on our territory. We are more than capable of defending our nation and resources ourselves, however, if the need ever arose that we were to require assistance, then we will surely call on our friends in Roania.

We have a surplus of about two million barrels per day. . . It would take approximately thirteen days for us to have an order of that size filled. We would be willing to give you the discount price of 20.23 Dinars per barrel (about $22.40) for a total of 505,750,000 Dinars ($560,000,000 USD).

The Arab Socialist Republic of Al Anbar would like to know Taiwan's reasons for wishing us not to sell oil to Roania. If your reasons prove sufficent, our terms for a new contract would be:

The entire contract of Roania's requests with a 10% increase on each barrel of oil.

Secret IC to Al Anbar:

We would also like a contract with you, Mr. Hussein, for we greatly need your oil to lubricate our army. We are willing to buy the oil that you would be otherwise sending to Roania at 1.5 times what the Roanians were paying. We can not allow them to keep their war machine poised to destroy another nation, and must take what is theirs for our own use. We will provide the cover and the news reports to make it sound as if Roanian oil was stolen by rebels, all you have to do is accept. Should you disclose this message to Roania or other nations, we are prepared to make life very miserable for you. Declining our offer and telling no one has no consequences, but you must admit that the benefits of selling us the oil far outweigh those of selling it to Roania by one third of our price.
