Welcome to the Gregor Corporation Smallcraft Division. We sell shuttles and pinnaces that are commonly seen used in Verniian warships, along with various civilian ships, like yachts and courier boats. As always, first time buyers get a 10% discount on their purchase.
Pinnaces: Pinnaces are about the size of a modern-day space shuttle, and are used primarily for shuttling crewmen from stations and planets to their ships, although they are also used for air support in planetary assaults, and as dropships for marines. Pinnaces are not FTL capable.

~The Admiral VIP pinnace is often used for transporting flag officers to and from their ships or bases. Government officials often use it for transportation as well. The Admiral has a rich carpeting, luxurious heated leather seats, and the aisles between seat rows are twice as wide as the Corsair's. There are hidden speakers set into the passenger compartment for music, and each pinnace comes with a fully stocked bar.
Shuttles: Shuttles are the workhouses of the People's Navy, ferrying equipment and crew on a larger scale then pinnaces.

~The Atlantic has a 3,000m³ (40m x 10m x 7.5m) pressurized cargo deck with access through a full-width/full-height rear cargo door, and two side hatches and an airlock connecting it to the forward crew deck, used when the cargo deck is depressurized for space-to-space cargo transfers. The crew deck has a seperate airlock as well. The Atlantic is standard equipment aboard all Verniian freighters.

~The Ballista is the transportation method of choice for Verniian Marines who are assualting a planetary target. It's fast and heavily armored, and can take several hits from most anti-plane weapons. The Ballista can carry almost half a regiment of troops inside it, and is quite capable at providing air support with its tribarrel, capable of firing 1000 rounds per second, and the lighter pulsers can fire 3000 rounds per second.
Courier Boats: For nations without FTL communications between systems, courier boats often provide the one of the main links. They are used by Vernii's government to deliver news, reports, and information between Vernii and its fleet bases and protectorates. Courier boats are barely large enough to fit a hyper generator into, but are FTL capable.

Dropships: After the recent peacekeeping intervention in Epsilon Pegasi by the People's Army, the Army came to the conclusion that while Assault Shuttles were suitable for landing infantry in combat zones and providing air support, they lacked a significant capacity for armored vehicles. Plans were drawn up by BuShips, and the first new dropship types have been put into production.
