After years of being occupied by Israel, a Palestinian nation has been declared. The Palestinian National Authority, led by President Yasser Arafat, has declared the state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including East (Arab) Jerusalem.

"It is a great day for all Palestinians," said Arafat at a press conference in his headquaters in Ramallah, West Bank, "We have finally become free from the Israelis. We will now be able to prosper and live how we wish to, not how the Israelis want us to."

There has been celebrations in the streets of most cities and villages throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip and there are reports that celebrations in largely Palestinian communities within Israel are also celebrating this victory for their homeland.

They will be allowed access after they apply for and be approved for a pass from the Palestinian Government to cross to our side of the city.

What I said earlier is that I am allies with Israel so that all those troops have been there to protect my ally. Also the the howitzers are in transit.

The Palestinian Government does not see a need to change its current policy for allowance into its capital and holy city, East Jerusalem. Perhaps in the future we will change our policy, but for the time being, it will say this way.

While it is good to see an end to the armed conflict in the Middle East, I really must wonder why the PA waited so long to declare their independance. The only reason I can think of is that they realised that their support from other muslim nations has dropped off, and so would take anything they could get.

a volunteer division of Artitsan Soldiers has been raised totaling 10,420 troops (mostly jewish AND islamic.) who will travel to Isreal. They will bring along 240 Grizzly MkII Heavy tanks and 80 Mi-35M Hinds. These are to keep the peace and assist Isreal should any other hostilites break out. The soldiers are expected to arrive over a four month period (four hours IRL)
Please note this force is not an aggressor force, but rather defencive and those that wish to defend their holy land.

I agree with Artisa my troops are there as peacekeepers as well and if hostilities break out then they will fight for Israel. Also my 1000 howitzers have arrived bring my total to 50,000 Infantry, 500 J-97 main battle tanks, 1000 165mm howitzers, and 200 Striker I fighter/bombers.
