BEIRUT, AL ANBAR - Just a week after the former government of Lebanon surrendered to Al Anbar, there are reports of a firefight in the area of the city of Antilyas, just north of Beirut. Our correspondont was heading north along the main Beirut-Tripoli highway that runs through Antilyas, when they heard heavy gunfire in the distance and flashes in the skyline. About a kilometer and a half from the city, an Iraqi checkpoint stopped all traffic north and ordered all cars to return south to Beirut.
