A few months ago the Rotovian Government called upon the nations of Earth to defend the world from an emerging threat that was set to threaten the fragile state of global stabilty. A huge amount of nations responded and as a direct result of their actions the threat was neutralised quickly and without any major damage.

Across NationStates there is a climate of peace, however at present it is paper thin. Nations are begining massige surges in defence spending, increasing nuclear stockpiles and placing themselve sin harms way. With all of this happening there are also younger nations jumping up and attacking long standing and peaceful nations without cause, Thought these nations can defend themselves the cost of doing so is dyre.

So, I call upon the good nations of Earth to band together and stand united. It doesn't matter if you are Catholic or Muslim, Liberal or Fascist it only matters that you are willing to dedicate a portion of your resources (be they political, economic or military) to maintaining order and peace for a stable future.

If your nation and it's people seek a safer and better world then I invite you to ally yourselves with us, and nations like us. Together we will make the dream of a stable future a reality.

We build a weapon and other nations have to have it to remain safe. As a global cumminty we can do so much more, as a united force we can remain safe without having to compete for it."
