I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of some sort of magical sword someone is destined to find, which will save the world...

Magic will be involved of course.

Ok I'll get the ball rolling. It will be about some sort of prophecy fortelling someone to rise up and do something and take over the world.

Now I am presuming this has nothing to do with our nations current tech level. If it is then ignore this post, but if it isn't then I wish to join.

My chartacter will be an Elven mage who hates the limelight, but will do anything to gain power. He is currently fairly powerful.

Yeh, thats right, nothing at all to do with our nations tech level. This will go more like a story from other peoples point of view. So say you wanted to have this giant army attack me. You would have to view it through the eyes of your character first building up the army, the attack from his point of view etc.

<OOC> Hey...great idea. I've got a thread going (Xeraph/Vampires) where my king (Alaric) is a descendant of the last Wolf Lord. Maybe we can figure out a secondary thread where a sacred sword from ages past/an ancient empire is found and........etc. A sword and sorcery hting mixed in with modern tech...

Eystal does not believe in good triumphing over evil - the main character would do so by finding his sword (presumably). Therefore she would end up his opponent.

that makes alot of differance,so what charecters are in this (combat class[warrior,archer,etc.] and what race ?) so if i join my charecter could bring soem equality.

For the record, Eystal is part human. It is generally believed that she is also related to the race of Angels.

"It is not morning,nor is it night,the sun is rising,but isnt there,the moon is setting,but is still there,a transition evreyday,the birds are singing,the flowers are blooming,all manner of creature is about,rabbits are out for the morning graze,reptilies are out getting spots to soak up the sun,all is normal, all is peacefull. But i fear it will not always be this way,i fear the fragile state if peace stands still like a pool of water,anything,even a small rock throw into it will distrub evreything,evreything will change,i fear the fate of all manner of things will be decided by the edge of a sword,rather for good,or evil. better yet,i am sure this will be decided by a sword,but there will be a group of warriors that will rise up to combat this threat,for good or evil i do not know,i just Pray this will not be in my lifetime"


lets see now my charecter,we got two mage/wizards,a theif,a necromancer,and i assume Mutant Dogs' charecter is a warrior of some sort.....

so i will be Oliderus,Archer,a rouge,not good,but not nesasarily evil,he can use throwing knives,throwing daggers,bow,crossbow, and for melee fighting he has one shortsword,one dagger,and one large Bowie Knife.

He is one of the most powerful Necromancers of the Highcovern, other inconicu refer to the high 13 as Great One's, they are above inconicu law, what ever they say goes unqustioningly. However they only work for the good of inconicu. Or at least what they view to be good ;) thus if he decided to kill 80 of them for the good then he can etc etc...

Just how much of magic you people are gonna allow?
I mean, will it be fireworks-fireballs-and all the flashy stuff, or more of destiny-warping curses and realism?

My character is Wen Kian,from the world of DragonballZ.A demisaiyan warrior,descended from the mighty warrior-scholar Son Gohan and the fighter-merchant Tronx.

He has been cast into the Eternal Void,by mysterious omnipotent beings,to go on a quest and seek his true destiny and become a master of his own fate.

His powers,well,if you know of DragonballZ,to say the least,he will exponentially increase in power towards the end of this fantasy roleplay.

The Prophecy of The Thrandir Blade:

The Prime Creator sent out his Creators to create new realities,new worlds,each with their planes of existence,each with worlds within worlds within worlds,a countless variety.

And then there was chaos.And great battle.The harmony of all Creation was disrupted.In the end,only by the consignment of the Keth'Hamul and the Prime Creator to Harroth,nexus of all Existence,all Creation,was peace achieved.

Khallusk was made Supreme Entity,Rulder and Governor of All,to oppose the insidious intentions of the fallen Angel of Khallusk,Lucifer Satan,corrupted by his greed and the mote of the Great Devourer within him,defiled by his pride.And the Creation was reordered as Khallusk saw fit,with him the other supreme brings of all,those who shape Existence,the Ulthaj,the 2 Ulthaj Primarchs who would safeguard the Creation,through the shades,their avatars and incarnations,the children and agents.All without them knowing.

This was the reality of the one of many names and forms,the one known as Yahweh to others,Allah to others,or simply "GOD",as humans called him,for this entity,in fact neither a she nor he,at least to the understanding of humans,created yet more universes within its Multiverse,believing itself absolute,to create realities as it saw fit,and ordering them.Yet,a mote of Lucifer the Fallen entered the existence and corrupted one of this entities children,its foremost in the beginning,the traitor with the same name,who sought to possess it and shape it to its desires.Again,it went by the name Satan,Prince of Darkness.And its spread its tendrils into other realities within this Multiverse,even trapped in the lowest planes of existence,itself the source of evil as perceived by others.

And in one of these universes,the one known by many names(though for convenience,this record will call this entity Allah),Allah created another,a child with full knowledge of its creation and existence,whose will would shape the existence of that particular reality,until a time that it would grow to govern more as it learnt.And within this reality was spawned a child of Satan,the one called Baruthuzel,antithesis to the child of Allah,the entity of temparament called Uriz.

Uriz and Baruthuzel vied for the universe for an age,neither unable to breach or oppose the other,for both were equal in power.For Uriz was the Lord of the Cosmic Dance,the harmonies of the eternal dance,the music,flowing through the mists of dreams and time,while Baruthuzel was the Great Corruptor,causing discordance in the music.Uriz used the Light,while Baruthuzel used the voide.Yet,in the conflict between the two,another awareness grew.Yaloth the Preserver,Lord of All,that which balanced the scales of the conflict.

And the discordance stopped,for Yaloth used the the shades of gray between the Light and the Void,using Darkness and Shadow to balance the Light and the Void.Finally,the conflict stopped,for Uriz and Baruthuzel retreated to the different planes of the Universe to decide the fate,to resolve their conflict one way or another.And Yaloth inhabited the realms in between,ensuring that a Neutrality was maintained,an equilibrium on the macroscale,so that Uriz,Lord of the Cosmice Dance,Baruthuzel,Emperor of Darkness and Yaloth,Lord of All,Preserver and Balancer,began to shape the Universe as they saw fit.

Once again,Uriz began the dance,the music bringing light to the Middle Realm,the realm free of all influence from either three in the beginning.And Baruthuzel despised what he saw.Yet again,they came into conflict,before the intervention of Yaloth,who ordained that the Middle Realm would be shared among all,neither more powerful or weaker.And so,a Pact was signed,to be enforced by Yaloth the Preserver.

In the end,the Three chose to fill the uppermost of the 21 planes of existence within the Universe,Uriz filling the highest plane,Baruthuzel filling the lowest plane,the higher planes shared between Yaloth and Uriz,the lowest shared by Yaloth and Baruthuzel.The Middle Plane,forever expanding,eternal in nature as the others,would be te meeting ground for all,where life would be allowed to exist,where they could fill it with their Creations,setting natural laws that were to their liking,Uriz setting the Law of Order,Baruthuzel setting the Law of Chaos,and Yaloth setting the Law of Shadow,to balance those,so that none whould be dominant.

And so,the Middle Plane began to evolve,suffused with the harmony of the Cosmic Dance,while in the Realms,the 3 Lords,Lord of Order,Lord of Shadow and Lord of Chaos,began to fill them all with their creations.

Prophecy of the Thrandir Blade:

As ages passed,finally,civilization arose,for Yaloth had seeded the Middle Plane with human seed,inspired by the original Creation of Allah.And so,humans came to be on the Middle Plane,the Oldest Race.And among the humans,Yaloth chose an avatar,to become the personification of Yaloth's will,an immortal avatar.And the others followed suit.Their avatars were suffused with the raw essence of each and would be their personifications and agents within the Middle Plane.As for the mortals,among them were those who discovered the 50 Jewels of Uriz,the 50 Jewels of Yaloth,and the 50 Jewels of Baruthuzel.By using them,they ascended to become parts of a greater whole,yet still retained their induviduality,to become akin to gods,to enforce their will of the Lord of Creation.And these Gods created the Younger Races,the Elves,the Dwarves,the Wulfen and various others,to inhabit the Middle Plane with its many worlds

And so the Avatar Lords and their children guided the Middle Plane and the various races therein as they saw fit.

Until there came a time,when Baruthuzel,growing greedy,and eager to seize All the Planes for itself,to ultimately become more powrful than Yaloth and Uriz,who were equals in power and either one alone a match for Baruthuzel,rose up in great fury and broke the pact that had held.His Avatar lead an army composed of those from all races,with daemons and powers of the void sweeping through the various worlds,sweeping through MiddleSpace like a swarm of locusts.

In response,Yaloth and Uriz together with the Races,Angels and their Avatars lead an army to decimate the swarms of Baruthuzel.In the battles that followed,the Middle Plane was decimated.The Decimation grew so great that Yaloth was horrified.In Yaloth's fury,he smote Baruthuzel in anger,pledging to imprison him and his hordes in the lowest dimension of the Universe forever.Uriz,in regret for the decimation,chose to leave for the highest plane,never again to battle in the Middle Plane,all but his avatar returning to the Higher Plane.

And thus the higher planes came to be opened to the Oldest Race,the humans,and those who were deemed worthy went to live there,leaving the Middle Plane.And the Lords of Creation watched,Yaloth and his people inhabiting the lowest and highest planes in between,on guard forever against the machinations of Baruthuzel,while Uriz danced the Cosmic Dance,the harmony of all kept together in his Heaven,Baruthuzel creating noise every so often to induce chaos in the music,to achieve his aims.

Eystal sat at her throne in the mighty palace Alharn, listening. A descendant of Yaloth's Avatar, she was gifted with the powers of the Storm, including the understanding of the voices of the winds.

She listened for more information.

"The sword calls. Many will answer. I will need to work quickly."

Saying this, she stood and went to her study, to observe those who also heard the call of the Blade of Hate.

Meanwhile,the Gods watched,allowed to take action only through agents,never directly of their own.And thus,a neutrality was restored,and Life spread throughout the lands.And so did Uriz and Yaloth finally make greater forces of Nature to balance the Universe.For Order,Chaos and Shadow did strive too greatly to achive their aims.Into this was introduced Death and Life.2 Gods were created,more powerful than the other gods by far,to further bring greater complexity into the Cosmic Dance and the Harmony of All.

The Domain of Life and all within wwas granted to Rahmat,a new spawn of Allah,brother to Uriz in the thought of Allah,the Domain of Death and all within,be it the dead and dying to Yiyil,Daughter of Yaloth,Goddess Queen and Ultimate Entity of All Elves,the Lady of Fortune,the Lady of Death.

And thus came into being the Lords of Creation,3 in number,the Elder Gods,150 in being,50 for each Lord,and finally the Young Gods,innumerable,though among them were the Principal Gods,those with the highest mandate and power.

Wen Kian flew through the air,free,enjoying the crisp air of the morning.A new adventure,a new challenge.So,in the long run,what he did here was to challenge himself,to aid in finding an artifact of great power.In the process,he would discover how to defend his timeline from the vagaries of evil.

A Demisaiyan,Wen possessed a tail and mostly human features.He remembered the stories of his ancestor Son Goku or Kakarot,and his ally and nemesis Vegita.With their blood running in his veins,he was of true human and saiyan heritage.Ultimately,he knew that something important awaited for him.

He went over the rhyme in his mind.The Prophecy of the Blade of Hate.One who would share in Thrandir's Fate.He certainly did not look forward to shedding his blood just yet.Through some strange vortex that was definitly beyond the ability of the higher beings within this reality to open,he had been cast here as a test.He had chosen it,for it was the surest way of saving his world.

Swooping through the mountains,he went super saiyan,boosting his speed.Certainly,he hoped to achieve greater levels of power in the future,just as his ancestors had done.He would search for a partner or a party to join with in searching for this "Thrandir's Blade".Certainly,he would try not to fly in front of them,or reveal the full extent of his powers and abilities.They might mistake him for a god or something worse.His staff pike attached to his back,he felt the Ki around him,the life of this region rich in flora and fauna.

Xcerus felt a surge of power and his summoned pet began to warp he wasnot sure what was happening but he senced a great evil from some source. He released his undead pet to the void it disolved into the ground as he returned to this plane. He breathed deeply, feelign the air rush into his lons was always exilarating. Walking in undeath had its benefits especially when his alchemy work was so dangerous but the numbing cold it brought drained him.
He siged deeply before beginning to resumon his pet to see what change had occured. He concentrated as he called fourth his mighty powers over the undead. In this crypt the foul winds of dark magic raged.

"A Demisaiyan, a necromancer... Who else hears the call?" Eystal stood in thought. "These foes are powerful enough, yet there will be more. I cannot stay here longer. Time to search out them personally."

OOC:ok,so is the Blade of Hate something that will save or rescue the world.When I made that first piece aby Thrandir's Blade I was under the impression that ppl were going after the sword to save the world.Please lay out everything neatly.I have provided a backstory to it all,and so are we going with the first or second one about Thrandir's Blade.And are we going to use a different thread for the roleplay?

OOC: I'm going with the idea that the Blade of Hate is something of incredible power, which could be used for good or ill purposes. Eystal is opposed to either good or evil gaining the upper hand, so works against both.

Perhaps a different thread would be in order. We can probably just copy-paste the stroy so far.

His sword was created after the fall of the vampire kingdom, when he used his father's sword, The Blade of Lucifer, and the human king's sword, The Blade of Redemption, to forge an ultimate weapon. Little did he realize that the two would counter each other, causing it to become nearly useless.

He kills all in his path in order to make his sword stronger (since it absorbs souls). After almost 500 years, he is nearly done, when he learns of the Blade of Hate. WHen he learns that it is the most powerful blade in the world, he sets out to find it. If he accomplishes his goal of having the two greatest blades, he will become almost invincible...

(note: the vampire kingdom was underground and in caves. On his quest, he plans to make the Blade of Souls complete)
