Terrorists sieze Weapons Museum

Witzgall

53 Terrorists have seized Witzgall's National Biological and Chemical Weapons Museum, which was hosting a private meeting with some military staff to ensure safety of the weapons and security measures.

The terrorists have around 86 hostages, including 6 Witzgall generals, 22 Witzgall soldiers, the leader of Witzgall's Spec Op team, and numerous Museum Employees. The military personel were armed at the time, but the terrorists shot tear gas through the windows of the museum and knocked them all out cold.

The terrorists have set up proximity mines inside the air ducts as well as welded them shut. There can be no access from the ducts. Also, they have rigged all doors with enough C4 to destroy the entire building. These terrorists have obviously been dealt with before.

Witzgall's Spec Op forces and Chemical Cleanup Crews have arrived at the museum, but cannot enter without other assistance.

The terrorists have released demands, some are standard and yet some are a little on the odd side. Here they are:

Twenty billion dollars.
Disarming of all of Witzgall's nuclear weapons.
Thirty Witzgall Border Police Cruisers.
Two Escalades filled with ecstacy sent to a warehouse in Downtown Witzgall. (The warehouse is empty, we have checked.)
A law passed making the legal drinking age 30.
The signature of the dictator, Matthew III.

We are asking for assistance in this situation.

if you will allow it Beta Aurigae VII wishes to send 200 B.E.A.R.S. (special forces) armed with H&K MP5-RAS Submachine Guns and OICW Assault Rifles to help out with the situation. these are our most highley trained troops and they carry the latest weapons. all weapons will be scilenced in the event of a covert entry. we will also send a team of our best hostage negotiators if need be, we have found that there is really no way to reason with terrorists other than force but its always worth a try.

lol this thread is good but funny. Two Escalades full with ecstasy and the legal drinking age 30. Not to mention the fact that the special forces from some nation is called BEARS. I can just imagine 200 bears rollin' into the weapons museum..lol

Yes, you may send in your forces. Yet the current leader of the Spec Ops, which is now under a regular operative's control, states that there is no possible way of entry. Also, upon hearing this, the SO Leader shouted into the building, "There are hostage negotiators coming! Please let the innocent men and women you have captive go!" The terrorists simply responded by throwing the dead body of one of the soldiers out of the second story window.

defenestranta erit wishes to advise on the situaton
nomally we would sent a special ops team to help however because this is a bilogical and chemical weapons facility we suggest bombing the entire facility with napalm before any chemical or biological agents are released
(please ignore this if there are no active weapons but i took it that there are considering there was a safteey meeting)

Most of the weapons inside the facility are armed, yet bombing the facility will result in casualties of some of the most important Witzgallian figures.

I do not know...if it is experimental, it may have odd side effects. We cannot risk that with the fact of our military personel inside the building. They hold secrets of our nation that no one else does. If the agent messes with them permanently, my nation may be in grave peril.

Witzgallian Special Operations Team 7, code named the Bumble Bees, is arming up. They have smoke grenades prepared for launch in the event an assault is necessary. The Spec Ops have set up a sniper across the street.

At the same time the sniper radios to the military below, a loud bang is heard. A terrorist sniper fired a 50 caliber bullet out of his M82A1, killing the sniper. The terrorists then throw a canister out of the window with a piece of paper inside. It states:

If any more military personel are seen arming themselves or mobilizing from the front of the building, all hostage will be shot and the building detonated. We also have bombs around the city. We will detonate. Do not make us commit genocide. Grant us the demands. And since you are so persistent, we have some more demands.

Four Vans full of Bleach and Ammonia.
A law passed stating that people above the age of 50 who smoke must be executed immediatly.
A law passed banning the color blue.
Another twenty thousand dollars, all in singles.
The national work day is shortened to a maximum of 2 hours.

These are our demands. Meet them, or pay the price. You have a WHOLE DAY as I am sure it may take a while. Good day.

We are still seeking assistance.

experimental means were trying to get it cheaper

if you say so i can have a pair of jets bomb the premisis with it in one hour from a high altitued so the terrorists dont hear it coming
the gas works instantly and is colorless and odorless so the prmisis will not be blown up or hoseges executed

All of the sudden, the lights in the museum go off. The terrorists are getting smart.

They have shut off the entire fusebox to the museum, which ensures that the Spec Ops teams will have a challenge seeing where they are from their current position, outside of the museum.

One terrorist throws out a small firework, an M-80, and when it explodes all personel outside of the museum dive for cover. The terrorist laughs hysterically. Then he throws a small canister with another slip of paper out of the window. It reads:

If you try anything smart or stupid, we will launch all bombs of the Witzgallian nation. That is correct. We have a couple tricks up our sleeves. It seems the government is so stupid that we have a couple hackers inside the war database, and on command can launch all Nuclear and other missiles. We can cause mass genocide in almost any nation we want. Now get us our f---ing demands!

If you give me permission, I will drop Tear Gas Bombs and Smoke Bombs on the museum. While the terrorists are being effected by the gas you can send your military units in to save the hostages.
20-03-2004, 01:36
note if you ask us to launch the gas then we sugesst you move all your men away as it can affect any living thing through any part of the body

Sounds to me like you fairly screwed. Following a utilitarianist view, you might have to sacrifice those inside to stop the bombs being detonated.

Tyrandis agrees, and will deploy a Neutron Bomb that will obliterate all living matter inside while leaving the bomb unscathed. From there, you can probably defuse it.

We are listening to your suggestions. However, we cannot just simply neurtalize all living matter inside the building.

Witzgallian Spec Ops have come up with an idea.

We need a fairly large nation to launch an EMP and disrupt the building. Then we shall launch gas into the building and knock all people inside unconcious. This will allow us to secure the hostages and terrorists.

Please launch the EMP, as it will disable the hackers capabilities.

first of all don't knock the special forces name. secondly EMP would be a good idea but the terrorists would still kill everyone inside. i have a few questions. is there a sewer that connects to the basement of the museum? if so we could insert through there and ambush the terrorists. also the most logical course of action would be to launch tear gas into the museum and have your military mop up the terrorists. my troops are prepared to insert at your whim. btw bears is just a temporary name for my special forces, i am trying to come up with a better one.

"Screw this." said the improvised leader of Spec Ops. He orders all his men to barge into the museum and shoot terrorists on site.

At the end of the battle, all terrorists were slaughtered, 3 generals killed as well as 6 soldiers and 1 employee.

It appears that the hackers were non-existant, and all of the terrorists, except for one, are still unidentified.
