Dawn of the Dead (open RP)
since the movie is coming out, I thought, why not make a RP about it. Once there are enough people on, we'll begin.
I forgot, this doesn't have the same story as the movie, but it is about zombies and stuff like that. ANYONE CAN JOIN!

I havnt seen the movie but i would like to join.
cool. i haven't seen the movie either but the basic story is that like some sort of chemical starts bringing dead people back to life, they kill people and spread it. Only a few survivers. could you maybe tell more people about this?

k for the three of you. and you can be a zombie Brain-eaters.
Alright, people can join anytime even though its starting.
Ok so a bunch of these wierd chemicals start to bring the dead back to life. This is a small town near Lake Erie (in Ohio).
IC:
Nate lay in his bed snoring. He was curled in a ball with his blankets wrapped around him. RING! RING! His alarm went off waking the teenager up. He rubbed his eyes, yawned and got out of bed. He got dressed and brushed his teeth. He was soon out the door and on his way to his friend's house.
After a short walk, he knocked on the door. No one answered. "Jesus Christ man! Open the door!" he yelled. No one came. He slammed hid head against the door in frustration. It was then that he saw the small note on the ground. Scribbled sloppily was: MEET ME AT GRAVEYARD.
"What the hell do you have planned now..." he said to himself annoyed.
All bodies must be turned over to specially equipped squads of the national guard for immediate disposal. The dead get up and kill, those they kill get up and kill.
Yeah lets do this RP. I'm in.
Jack Archer threw his duffel bag onto the floor of his small house in what was considered the 'ghetto' of the town. The bag contained a a shotgun with pistol grip, folding stock, and tactical light, and around ten thousand cash. Jack's cut was a grand, the other nine grand would go to his mafia boss back in the nearby city.
Jack hated being the mafia's man in the small, quiet, uneventful town. There were no other mafias or mobs to fight, and only one or two groups that claimed to be gangs but were nothing near being a gang. The cut was nice though, higher than anyone else got, and with a few bucks here and there to a few friends, a steady supply of addicts was building, and surprisingly their were some nice women.
Jack threw his coat onto the rack and took off his holster containing a SIG Sauer with tactical light. He went to his room and changed into the clothes he liked back, urban camo pants and a plain grey t-shirt. His kevlar vest he threw into the closet, he didn't even know why he needed one, its not like there was anything dangerous in this hick town anyways...
ooc: awesome! everyone should create their own character now.
ic: Nate pushed open the gate to the cemetary and walked in. "Hey Mike! Where are you?" he yelled.
"Dude! I'm over here!" replied another teenager.
Nate ran over to him. "what are we doing here?" he asked annoyed.
"You know how I got that shotgun for my birthday? I wanna test it."said Mike with a smirk. He grabbed something in his coat and pulled it out. He had cut off the end of the shotgun.
"You idiot! Dude thats illegal!" said Nate.
"No it isn't, but this is..." he lifted the gun and shot at a tomb-stone blowing a hole through the cheap marbel.
"YOU DUMBASS! YOU F*CKING DUMBASS! WHY DID YOU F*CKING DO THAT?" yelled Nate in horror. A smile spread across Mike's face.
"That was fun." he said. Nate saw a few feet away an old man looking at them.
"Ah crap dude! The digger is here!" said Nate
"Um...let me talk to him...HERE!" he tossed Nate the gun. Nate put the gun in his coat for now. Mike walked over to the man.
"Um...hi there...Mr...you see...I was trying out uh...my gun and it accidentaly had a misfire..." said Mike nervously. The man stared at him without one emotion except the slight look of hunger in his eyes. "Hello? Anybody there?" asked Mike waving his hand in front of the man's face. Suddenly, it happened. The man went berserk. He grabbed Mike and burried his face into his neck. Blood began to fly everywhere. "AHHHH! Get off me you freak! Get off..." he stopped talking and fell over, dead. Nate watched in horror as more people came from out of nowhere and circled around his dead companion.
"Get away from him!" yelled Nate. He lifted the gun and shot the one that killed Mike. A hole went through the man's chest, knocking him on his back. Nate breathed heavily. There was silence. Slowly, the man got up and began to crawl towards Mike's corpse again. "Oh my god...OH GOD NO!" screamed Nate as he ran from the place.

Jack could have sworn he faintly heard what sounded like a scream followed by the blast of a shotgun, a sound which he was very familiar with from the city. He took a second to ponder, then chuckled at himself for thinking it was actually that, afterall, he was town, half the town probably had a shotgun, but not one of them would actually use it on someone.
Yet for some reason, Jack nevertheless grabbed his duffle bag, placed it on the floor beside his couch, just to be safe, as he went back to flipping through the local cable channels.
Nate was terrified. The boy was running from something he couldn't stop. He had just seen his best friend ripped to shreds and then there was the man he shot. It terrified him that he had shot someone, but when the man got up and continued to "feast" on the body...Nate stopped. He was sweating and he felt sick. He threw up on the side of the road. He looked down at his clothes. Blood. They were soaked with blood. Mike's blood. "Oh Jesus..." he said and he threw up again. Soon afterwards, Nate crawled over to the side of a house and sat down. He breathed in and out, trying to clear his head. He began to cough. He cursed the cold as he sat there shiverring. He realized something then. There was something out there, and someone had to stop it.
Jack stopped flicking and settled on the news channel. Nothing interesting, same boring hick town stuff. He got up to go outside and visit his neighbour, see if he wanted to do something. As he walked outside he noticed a shape, a kid, cowering beside one of the houses. Curiousity got the best of him and he simply appeared to be walking along the sidewalk when he glanced up at the kid and noticed two distinct things, one, he had blood on him, and two, he had what looked like a sawed-off shotgun in his hands.
He took a few quick steps towards the kid and spoke up, "Kid, what the f*** happened to you?"

Nate jumped up with the shotgun in his hands. "Stay the f*ck away freak. Don't make me blow your f*cking head off!" he said with the gun raised. "You're not gonna f*ckin get me!" he was about to fire when he looked at the man. There was something human about him. Nate then realized that he wasn't one of them. He lowered the gun. "Oh Jesus Christ am I sorry. You're not one of them are you? Ah...never mind...do you have a gun?"

(Okay, I've been in a zombie RP already, and it was good. Also, looks like you need some older more experienced RPers in here. I'll join.)
Joe Larek was bored. Another day down the tube at work. He was driving home, following his normal routine. He took a sip of the soda he had picked up at a gas station along the way, thinking about how much he hated his job.
His car hit a bump, and he dropped the soda. The top came off and dumped all over his pants. "Ah crap, just what I need." He looked down to try to brush off as much of the liquid as he could. He looked up just in time to see the person standing in the road, only several feet in front of his car.
"SHIT!" He slammed on the breaks but it was no use. The car impacted with the person, throwing them over his car. He got out and ran over to the person. A bystander had also run over, and got to the person first. Joe yelled,"Hey, is he okay?" He already knew the answer.
The bystander looked up and was ready to yell something back when the person on the ground lunged forward and bit the bystander in the throat. He jerked his head sideways, sending blood flying.
Joe backpedaled, stunned. The person then commenced to......eat the bystander. "Oh fu<k this! I'm outta here." He turned around and saw a person by his car. This person was lacking a right arm and had most of her face torn off.
Joe let instinct take over and ran down the street, trying to put as much distance between himself and those things as he could.
(OOC: Anyone seen the 10 minute preview of the movie that was on TV? Movie looks half decent, of course not as good as the original Dawn of the Dead. I'm a bit of a zombie movie fanatic, having seen at least 85% of this genre. Only the Resident Evil movie and a few others I don't remember the names of ran off of the chemical idea. Night of the Living Dead, and its sequels, including Dawn of the Dead, where all about strange happenings in the ozone, possibly space radiation. Not sure what this movie, coming out tomorrow (or today, depending on location) will have the cause of the zombies be. The previews hint that hell is full.)
OOC: I'd like to see the movie sometime soon, seems pretty cool, though I'm pretty sure hell is full is just a movie slogan... You should check out the movie site, has a few fun things you can do, like blackout, where you blast zombies with a shotty :D
Jack was about to respond to the kid when he heard strange sounds and a small mass of people rushing towards them. Some of the people were semi-decayed, they looked dead. Jack noticed the kid looking at them as if he recognized them, Jack turned to the kid, "f*** this, your on your own!"
Jack ran back inside his house and grabbed the duffel bag and drew the shotgun out. He ran just out the front door and saw some of his neighbours rush outside screaming, something on the tv, which had been left on the local news channel, caught his attention. The screen showed a mass of people, what looked like dead people rushing up, and eating people. There was a headline for the breaking report that read "the dead walk the earth?".
Jack turned pale at the scene on the tv and walked towards the door which swung open, Jack raised his shotgun and was about to fire when the person at the door yelled and threw their hands up in the air. It was Jack's neighbour, Andrew.
"Drew, goddamn, you scared the sh*t outta me, damn near killed-holy sh*t!" Jack screamed as one of the 'things' grabbed Andrew and tore open half his neck.
Jack let off a blast with the shotgun, the 'thing' went spinning through the air and and flopped onto the ground, seemingly dead. Another one of the creatures rushed towards Jack make incomprehensible noises, Jack screamed and fired. The blast blew off the 'thing's' leg and it stumbled onto the ground. It looked back up at Jack, made another noise and started crawling.
Jack pumped the shotgun, raised it with one hand to the creatures head, and fired, causing the most gruesome scene Jack had ever seen.
Jack considered grabbing his pistol from his house, or at least grabbing more ammo for the shotgun, but out of fear, he opted to jump into his car, and get out of the area as fast as possible.
Nate was in a bad situation. More of the things had appeared and the one guy had just driven off. People were running and getting slaughtered. "Shit, this went from bad to worse." thought Nate. He started shooting. Many of the things were blown in half, but they continued towards him. "WHY WONT YOU DIE?" he yelled as a zombie lunged at him. He got out of the way and blew its head off. It stopped moving. Nate realized then that the only way to kill these things was to shoot it in the head. Nate began to exterminate them. Chunks of skin and brains soon littered the streets as the teen fought of one after another. He soon ran out of shells though. "Shit!" he yelled when he realized this. He dropped the gun and ran.
Justin leaned back in his chair. Nothing was working for him. He had just lost his job, and he had no more money. He scratched his face and yawned. his head felt like it was slit in half. He got up and walked slowly to the fridge. He pulled out his last beer and opened it. He chugged it all down at once. He needed courage for what he was about to do.
He grabbed his ski mask and his handgun. He then got in his car and left for the mall.
ooc: little does he know that the place will be overrun with zombies! BWAHAHA!

IC: Alex Green walked into the woods. His Remington model 700 held out in front of him. There a few hundred meters away was a twelve point buck. Perfect shot. He heard some rustling behind him. What appeared to be a decomposing man with tattered black clothes walked towards him.
"Stay back mother f***er or I'll shoot." The man kept walking towards Alex. He shot the man in the chest. The man kept walking. "Get back man, get back." he fired again and again before running to his pickup. He drove back to his cabin and rushed inside.
Alex owned a small assortment of weapons and a lot of ammo, all in magazines except for the shotgun shells which were in belts. He quickly grabbed his M16, Remington 11-87, and Browning BDM. Why didn't I move when I had the chance.
He put all his weapons and every magazine and shell he could find into the front of his pickup. He climbed in to see the strange man and several others just like him advancing. He hit the accelerator and speed off towards town.
Nate reached the mall in 10 minutes. He knew he had to get weapons to protect himself, and others. He thanked God for allowing him to work at the Hunter's Market in the mall. All he had to do was get in and get some weapons. When he walked in the mall, he saw the place was deserted. Cautiously, he made his way to the H.M. He walked in and smashed open the display case. He grabbed two rifles, and two shotguns. He began to collect ammo. He then saw a couple knifes. He grabbed those too. Once he had enough weapons, he exited the store and began the short trip to hell.
ooc: dude, i said zombies were gonna be there. oh well. i guess i can work with it. this will take place before itrantos character arrives
IC:
"EVERYONE DOWN NOW!" yelled Justin as he entered the mall. People began to look at him and when they saw his gun, they freaked out. "DAMNIT! I SAID EVERYONE DOWN!" he yelled. He shot into the air. That just made it worse. People were running and screaming everywhere.
"Sir! Drop the gun now!" yelled a security guard. Justin took one look at him and shoot him through the head, blowing his brains out. He ran to some stores and robbed them then. People were still freaking out when he left.
On his way to his truck, Justin noticed a little girl following him. She had tattered clothing and had blood all over her. "Oh shit." he said when he thought he may have shot her. He ran over to her and asked if she was alright. She didn't respond. "Oh Jesus I did hit her." he said examining her. It was then that she lunged at him hissing. "Fuck!" he yelled as she bit his arm and ripped off some of his skin. He raised his gun and began to shoot. She continued to eat the skin she had torn off. "What the fuck is going on?" he thought as he ran to his car.

343 GuiltySpark(me!): character is Justin. A man who was just fired and has just robbed the mall listed earlier, only before Nate got there. He kills a security guard and is then bitten on his way to his car.
The Golden Simatar: character is Alex Green. he was hunting in the woods and encounters some zombies. He shoots one and then gets in his car and begins to go back to town.
the story takes place in a town in Ohio, near Lake Erie. basicly the dead are brought back to life and all hell breaks loose.

Out of context: Thanks for the information.
A tall, gaunt man walked down the street dressed in a black suit and a large black trenchcoat. He wore a black fedora atop his head and a pair of sunglasses reminiscent of those popular in the 1980s. The man was known only as the Jukebox Hero, or just Hero. No one knew his real name, but he was notorious for his gunfighting and, oddly enough, swordfighting skills. He was also known to dress only in black.
The Jukebox Hero carried a large duffel bag with him down the street, and had a large pair of headphones on. As he casually strolled down the middle of the road, he witnessed a most disturbing sight: a man missing some necessary limbs was attacking a pedestrian.
"Hmm," said Hero, "not a nice thing to do."
The Jukebox Hero promptly removed his headphones, which were currently playing "Who's Crying Now" by Journey, turned his CD player off, and put it inside his trenchcoat. He then unzipped his duffel bag and removed a large black tommygun from it. He lifted it with his right arm and leaned it against his shoulder, striking a dramatic, but cliche, pose, and strode forward toward the man and his attacker.

OOC: Just kill zombies and don't get bit.
Alex drove through the town horrifed at what he saw. People eatinng others. Ohh, dear god have mercy. A group of people huttled over a dead body munching away. Alex hit the gas and ran the group over. One bounced and hit the windshield. Alex saw the green and black distored face, the yellow/green teeth covered in flesh and blood, and the unemotional eyes.
Alex swerved and knocked the man off his pickup. He kept driving. Where to go where to go? Securtiy is no problem, if I go for the bank, KMart, WalMart, or the mall Alex was a self-employed security programmer and had made a small killing on his program.
Three years before Alex had devolped an almost inpenetrable firewall with a anti-virus virus. Once someone tried to hack in, plant a bug, and steal account numbers in the bank (for exampel) Alex's system would dectect it, isolate the virus and send another virus to the senders computer. Thus keeping the person online, computer completly frozen, allowing the police to find him and arrest him. For just in case of an emergency he had put in a trapdoor for himself. Like it's really going to help me now. There was one problem was it was only installed in the bank and mall. Only a few other stores had asked for it. Most of buyers were out of state.
Alex decided to head for the WalMart. He continued to drive past zombies. He drove next to the entrance and grabbed his pistol, assault rifle, hunting rifle, and shotgun. I'll be safe. Barracade myself in.

The bleed ing wouldn't stop. The girl had bitten several through layers of skin, possibly a vien, and the bleeding continued. Justin winced when he moved his arm. He stopped the car about a mile away and got out. He opened the trunk and took out his med kit. he poured some peroxide on the bite and immediatly more pain occured. The stuff stung like hell and it was foaming beyond belief. After a few minutes, he put on a gauz pad and took some pain killers. He got back in his car and began to think. "what the hell was that thing?" he thought out loud. It seemed human, but unhuman. It was like the girl was possesed or something. What really terrified him was the way she suddenly lashed out at him and how she was eating his skin. He shivered at the thought. He locked the doors, yawned and fell into a troublesome sleep.

The Jukebox Hero strode up to the strange man attacking a pedestrian, and aimed his gun straight at his...its forehead.
"Cease and desist all hostile actions," he said, keeping the gun locked on the man's head, anticipating having to fire.
"Shoot him, damnit!" screamed the pedestrian as he grappled with his attacker.
"Very well then," said the Jukebox Hero as he fired a few shots through the strange man's skull, but not before the pedestrian was bitten by the ravenous being.
"AHH! DAMNIT!" screamed the man as his neck began to bleed a bit. "Well don't just stand there looking stupid, help me!"
"Quite rude," said the Jukebox Hero as he shoved the man to the ground and continued his walk down the road.
"What the hell, man? Help me! What's wrong with you?"
The Jukebox Hero turned to face the man again, and spoke with purpose: "Have you any idea what that was that bit you?"
"No, but I need some damn help! My neck is killing me, man."
The Jukebox Hero aimed his gun directly at the man's foot and fired. "That should take your mind off your neck...well, figuratively at least."
The man screamed in pain, as the Jukebox Hero resumed his walk down the road. He saw an automobile far down the road run into a group of people and keep driving. He started to run towards the vehicle, waving his arms and gun in the air in an attempt to flag it down and get some answers.

IC: Alex saw the man but was too frightened to stop. But the person seemed to be human. He stopped and pulled out the M16.
"Climb in." Alex said. He kept the rifle out the window to make sure no one was coming. He rolled his window up and kept driving. he looked at the man next to him. Is this guy a pimp?
"I'm Alex. Who are you? And do you know WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?"

"My name is inconsequential," said the Jukebox Hero as he climbed into the vehicle, "but you may call me the Jukebox Hero, or any variation of that. And I have no idea what is going on. I can only advise you to calm down and tell me where we are headed."
The Jukebox Hero flicked on the radio in the vehicle and changed it to a classic rock station. The sounds of "We Build This City" began to emanate from the speakers, and the Jukebox Hero looked content. He still needed an answer, though.
Brian Corner chugged down his glass of gin. He was watching a news report saying that the dead were walking the earth. "Not again..." he said to himself. He rushed to his bedroom but on his old army attire. He opened his closet and got the SPAS-12 and the key. He went out to the barn behind his house and unlocked the door. Inside there was a van. He opened the back door of the van and threw his shotgun into the pile of weapons that were already there. He got into the drivers side and started the it up. It looked like he was going to war with the undead again.

"Sorry I'm a bit frightened." He turned the radio to another satation. Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" came through the radio. "First, NEVER touch my radio. Second, I'm heading for the WalMart. It has a nice weapon inventory and food stockpiles. Could barracde ourselfs in there and wait till the National Guard comes." Alex looked at Jukebox. He could tell he wasn't satisfied.
"I went out hunting this morn. Before I left I thought I heard a scream and then a gunshot. Put it out of my mind. Had a 12 point buck in my sights and one of these things came walking for me. I ran back to my pickup. Got my weapons from my cabin and drove into town. Picked you up and here we are. Where'd you come from? You a merc or something?"
The Jukebox Hero
20-03-2004, 04:31
The Jukebox Hero crossed his arms and looked a bit discontent; "Born in the USA" was no doubt a good song, but it was nothing next to any Journey song. Oh well, that didn't matter...
"You should not ask me where I am from, but instead when I am from. I have traveled here from the 1980s, with the intention to reinstate 80s music as the dominant music genre; especially music from the band Journey."
Alex looked thoroughly perplexed.
"Humor," said the Jukebox Hero. "Maybe it's the wrong time. Where I am from is hard to say. I don't come from anywhere really. I am a traveler, and do not tend to stay in one place for very long. And no, I'm not a mercenary. I work for no one."
Out of context: Sorry 'bout the radio. The Jukebox Hero loves 80s music...well, so do I, so the character's a bit like me. If you ever want to piss him off, just insult Journey...don't see why you'd want to, but...okay, I don't know.

OOC: It's okay. I'm a BIG Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, Meatloaf, Johnny Cash, and I'm not ashamed to say it I like some of Elton John. I also like some of Chicago. So you'll find my characters have a taste of that music. I've never heard of "Journey". I've seen and own a lot of 80s flicks, would any of thier songs be on those?
The Jukebox Hero

Out of context: Ever seen "Vision Quest?" One of their songs was in that: Only the Young Can Say. They have a lot of fairly popular songs: Don't Stop Believin', Any Way You Want It, Open Arms, Faithfully, Wheel in the Sky, Lights...I could go on, but I won't. Chicago's good, so is Elton John. Bob Segar is really good. Anyway, let's get back to the story. Your turn to pick up.
Jack pushed his car as fast as he could as he plowed through a mass of zombies, smashing his left headlight and denting some of the hood. He sped up to a good seventy miles an hour went he plowed into a zombie which went through his windshield, sending the car spinning out of control and into a ditch.
The airbag and seatbelt saved Jack's life and kept him concious as he hastily unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the door, falling half out when he heard the zombie make a noise. He turned and gave his strongest kick before the zombie could attack, and hit the zombie's jaw with a sickening crunch and spray of thickened, distorted blood.
The zombie was pushed backwards a bit as Jack stumbled fully out of the vehicle and looked to see what he had done. Half the zombie's jaw was torn off and hanging as it started thrashing about and tried to get at Jack.
Jack gave a few more kicks then grabbed his shotgun as he ran back onto the road and flagged down a police car. The officer in the passenger seat signalled for him to get in the back, so Jack did. The officer in the passenger seat took up a shotgun and started firing out the window at zombies that charged towards the vehicle.
Jack watched the officer fire off several shells, sending several zombies spinning through the air and onto the ground, only to rise a second after.
"Hey, I need some shells, I only have a handful left" Jack said, the officer driving opened the metal grating and tossed a box of twenty shotgun shells at Jack, who graciously took them and fully loaded his shotgun.
Brian drove into the little Hick Town and saw corpses walking everywhere. He drove on and saw a wreck in a ditch. He also saw a cop car with two men in it. It looked as though they where loosing. He turned his vehical around and stoped. He got in the back of his van and picked up a HK69A1 gernade launcher. He opened the back door and started to fire gernades into groups of zombies.

Nate wished he were in better shape. He realized now that guns were heavy. He sat on the curb and put his bag down. It then began to rain. He was too tired to curse nature at this point. He looked around. There was nothing but a few trucks here. He then got up and walked over to one. The driver had apparently been killed while trying to get in, since the body was on the ground and one of her...hands...was attached to the door handle. He moved the body and searched for keys. Nothing. He sighed and walked back to the bag of weapons. He picked them up and brought them to the truck. Even if he couldn’t drive it, he could still use it as a shelter. Nate threw the bag into the passenger seat and got in. Then he saw that the keys were in the ignition.
After a few tries, the car started. He knew he needed to hide somewhere, but he had no idea where that was. It then hit him. THE DOCKS! It was perfect! If he got in trouble, he could just use a ferry to get away, and there would definitely be a radio there. Nate could use that to contact survivors. He then began the drive to the docks.

IC:
Three days holed up in the main office of a fishing shop looking out over the ocean was enough to drive most sane men mad. Several corpses were outside, and had been out there for over 3 days, clawing at the windows and walls, trying to get inside the little hut where Christian Bistron, maybe a teen of about 17 worked. is manager had been bitten when he was boarding up the store-room windows. Christian had to put him out of his misery maybe 2 hours later when he started limping for him. It was always good that Rusty had kept a shotgun under the counter in case of emergency. Every three hours or so, to be on the safe side, Christian would put another shell through Rusty's skull to make sure he would stay down. Fortunately, it had been 1 whole night and the body never so much as moved... mainly because he severed it limb from limb... the way the arms and legs twitched, though, was rather unnerving.
Christian walked into the backroom and started to wander around. He needed a way out of the docks. He knew there was a crawl space in the fishing shop which led to the roof. 5 minutes of searching drew him to a hatch in the ceiling, labeled "To Attic". He leapt up, grabbed the pull cord, and brought down a ladder. He bounded up the steps in 2's.
In the attic, there were several windows overlooking the lower docks, which were swarming with undead. Maybe 40 were wandering around outside, and about 10 were clawing at the windows trying to get in. He pulled up the ladder behind him, as a precaution. As he did so, the glass from the main room shattered. They came in, just as he was out of their reach. Hopefully, they were too stupid to realize the pull chord to the attic. He walked across the small room, and pushed through random objects, looking for a way out. On the far wall, there was a door labeled "Roof". He kicked it open, and sunlight met his eyes.
It was a beautiful day, the sun shining. The only thing polluting the docks was the undead everywhere. Several in the streets saw him, let out what sounded like a shriek, and bounded after him. On the distance, there was a moving vehicle. He smiled. Maybe help would be coming. Looking over the side of the building, he screamed "fuck you too" and shot a round into a nearby skull, one that loved to scream at him. He named that one "Shrieker".

IC: Alex was astonished when J.B disappered. It started to rain and he didn't notice till it was too late. His pickup slammed into the light pole, it fell and crushed the roof. Ford, built like a rock. My ass it is.
Alex climbed out and put on the Vietnam battle harness. Dozens of M16 and pistol magizine pouches hung from it. He grabbed the two shotgun shell belts and wrapped them around his neck and shoulder. He turned and ran towards the WalMart, behind him several dozen zombies were slowly advancing.
He went inside, all was quite. Alex ran to the security terminal and plugged in his trapdoor entrance code. He now looked at everything behind the program. With a few button presses the doors automatically closed and locked. His program was orginally made for bank account security but with a few mods it could be used to close doors and lock in robbers and would automatically alert the police. This place, KMart, bank, and the mall have my system. Good.
Alex ran to the gun counter and loaded up with more powerful Winchester Magnum rifles and shells. The WalMart was deserted. He went to security room and began a simple radio message:
"To all those in town. Get inside, stay inside and kill anything that looks like roadkill. If you can get to the WalMart."

Ben revved the motorcycle and sped off down the street, the kid behind him, arms round his chest, holding on in fear. He took the corner at an insane angle, barely missing a couple of zombies as he sped onwards. He had intended to stay in his house. It has solar panels for power, and a supply of food enough to last 4 people for several months. Sadly it wasnt zombie proof and they had come crashing through the windows. Only he and his father who had been visiting when the shit hit the fan survived, and his father had died when they had saved the kid from a group of zombies. the only reason she was alive was that they had temporarily stopped to devour her parents.
He wished he was back in britain. Back there he would just have made his way to the nearest castle. Here, well there was only one place he could think of - the Mall. Didnt they have metal shutters to cover the doors and he should be able to survive on what was in the mall itself, provided it hadnt already been ransacked. But as he approached the mall he noticed a problem, the zombies were already there. He had a shotgun with several cartriges and a sword, a souvenir from Scotland and sharp enough to cut through bone. But he didnt want to see whether r not he could take on a group of zombies with them.
He was wondering what his next move should be when he heard shooting. Deciding that that meant people, although granted people in toruble, he turned the bike around and headed back where he had come, following the sound of gunfire

OOC: Hope i'm not too late... let's see what the Police did................
Sargeant Sally Winters was a member of the LEPD(Lake Erie Police Department)
and at first thought the call was a prank.
Zombies in the streets? What did HQ think this was, Evil Dead?
"Roger that. On my way to site of the disturbance."
Well, if they were gonna prank her, then it was best to go along with it. She could always get her revenge on them later.
She was utterly unprepared for the sight that greeted her.
The High Street looked like a pack of ravenous lions had run through it, with badly mauled bodies everywhere, and people walking around moaning, some without limbs and covered in blood.
She then realized that some of them were eating the fallen.
This was sick.
She felt like vomiting, butwas distracted by the arrival of the SWAT Tema and several other officers.
"Don't Worry sargeant. we're here now, and the Millitary's on their way. Most of the survivors are holed up in various places, so no worries about friendly fire. Just shoot whatever moves in front of you." said A Gung-ho
SWAT officer who had tried ot hit on her a few weeks ago.
She nodded grimly, and unholstered her Glock 17.
Time to Res Evil 3 These walking corpses............
Sargeant Spence sat back in the back of his truck with his sqaud. First a C-130 cargo plane crashes in the area with some top secret cargo... then they-and a entire DIVISION of tanks and troops with helicopter and fighter/bomber support- was going to now move in. According too the briefing the actual mission details were top secret. The only thing they had been told was they were going too some town... and too shoot "them" in the head. Whoever "them" were.
The truck bounced around. He knew one more thing, if the entire division on the ground was wiped out... then the military had the authority too wipe the place out with a nuclear bomb, dont ya just love the US miltary's way of thinking?
They entered the town.
"Good god"
Cars had careened into ditches, houses were on fire, half eaten bodies lay about, and THE LIVEING DEAD WERE WALKING THE STREET!
"Alright you maggots! MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! Remember! Shoot them in the head!"
Spence and his sqaud lept out and began too spray the zombies with assualt rifle, machine gun, and rocket launcher fire. Two Apache helicopters flew overhead searching the town with their spotlights.
Jack leaned back against the police car for a short breather and some water, he had joined in the line of cops and civilians who were armed in holding the blockade against the zombies. A team of cops armed with four of the department's ten M-16s were doing a supply run to the nearby grocery store, ferrying back food and water for the better part of an hour. They hadn't been seen in half an hour.
Jack loaded his shotgun up and turned back to face the oncoming hordes, they had formed the blockade two hours ago, half the fighters were now dead, and the blockade that had once encompassed the whole block, including the grocery store, was centered only around the police station and its parking lot.
The guys with the M-16s were serving as a quick reaction force, reinforcing whichever part of the blockade needed it the most, under the leadership of an army reservist.
"Where the f*** is the national guard? Or the air force, or army, I mean, goddamn, we should have a tank division rolling down this street, and bombers carpet bombing the place!" Jack yelled to the police officer that had been in the passenger seat of the car he came in, the officer's name was Ethan.
"Hell if I know, but I doubt they'd bomb it, they wouldn't bomb an American town without the president's authorization, and he'd lose the next election for sure if that happened, and we'd rather have a zombie outbreak than that now wouldn't we?" Ethan joked.
"Goddamn politics" Jack muttered as he fired more shells into the oncoming zombies, then heard the most glorious sound he could ever hear.
The sound of humvees, and machine guns, and yelling soldiers. Then, from down the road, a column of humvees was plowing its way through the horde, the fifties firing madly, and soldiers leaning out the windows with M-16s firing into everything they saw.
Jack cheered as did the officers around him, then one of the humvees simply couldn't move further into the mass of undead as their were to many piled up in front, the driver tried to reverse, but a zombie managed to break open the glass and pulled him out. More zombies bit at and pulled out the other occupants as a half dozen of the beasts made their way ontop and feasted on the machine gunner.
Another humvee suffered a similiar fate, but the other two managed to make it up to the blockade, where officers moved a pair of police cars out of the way and the two vehicles skidded into the parking lot and the occupants got out and walked up to the police sergeant, asking where they'd be of the most use.
Then the dreaded call was sounded, a whistle blew, and screams were heard, the blockade had failed, they were breaking through.
Brian saw the undead going through the blockade. He stoped firing gernades and got into the drivers side of the van. He plowed through the zombies and stoped in the middle of the parking lot. He jumped out. "Alright people I'm Agent Brian Corner US Special Forces. I've delt with these things before. You can't kill um. What you have to do is make them useless. Blow of their heads or blow the f*ckers whole body off like I've been doin. If you go into the back of my van you will notice a stockpile of weapons, and enough ammo to take over a small country. You are welcome to use this. You will also find medi kits, gas, and lighters. If you are bitten somewhere that can be choped off you chop the b*tch off. You then doctor yourself up. If you get bitten somewhere that you can't chop off you are to kill yourself, or I will do it for you. If anyone dies pour gas on um and torch um. There will be time for explanation later. Now lets show these f*ckers whos boss!"

Zombies and demons started pouring out of holes and attacked the cops. Zombies have their creepy shuffling gaits and ugly eating habits. Demons are swifter, with wicked, deadly claws and sharp canines. The demons will be hard to defeat, as their skins are tough to break, but explosives can do them in.
OOC:Uhhh... You do realize that there are already zombies... They are not coming out of holes... And there are no demons... This is a zombie RP...

OOC: Heh, demons are always around when evil is in the air. and you're not the only one RPing zombies. Way to go, ruining my fun...
OOC:This is "Dawn of the Dead"... That is a zombie story... Not a demon story...
Jack looked over to where the whistle was being blown, the M-16 guys had been there, and now the three survivors were rushing back along with two other surviving cops. The zombies spilled into the blockaded area and the men, women, and children who hadn't been fighting were running off in all directions and screaming.
The dismounted soldiers rushed up to try to stem the oncoming tide, but were soon overwhelmed, the break in the blockade was all that was needed to shatter the thin line of defense and the entire ring broke apart. Zombies came through in hordes, feasting upon the bodies of what had been police officers, men, women, and children.
Jack tapped Nate on the shoulder and nodded towards the Humvee, he nodded in a yes motion and they grabbed what little ammo they could from around them and ran towards one of the humvees. There was some guy in the center claiming to be a special agent, he obviously didn't consider the fact that the line was broken before he had even arrived, but he couldn't blame the guy for trying to save the police station and people.
As Jack and Ethan ran to the humvee, the last surviving officer with an M-16 stumbled towards them, he had been bitten in the neck and begged for help. Jack raised his shotgun to the officer's head and the officer nodded, knowing full well what would soon happen to him. Jack pulled the trigger and the head exploded with a sickening splatter. Jack grabbed the blood covered M-16 and what clips the officer had on him and continued his mad dash.
Three of the five surviving soldiers rushed back to the humvee where Jack and Ethan were headed. One of the soldiers hopped into the driver's seat, another manned the fifty-cal, while another hopped in the rear left seat. Jack took the rear right seat, and Ethan hopped in the passenger seat, one of the soldier's handed a rifle to Ethan, apparently stripped from one of their dead comrades, as, like Jack's, it was soaked in blood.
The soldier started up the humvee and they spotted a thinning mass of zombies, as many were seeking out the remaining stragglers for food, and the soldier gunned it. The humvee roared and plowed through the mass, three M-16s and a fifty-cal contributing to the ramming power of the vehicle. Jack took a glance back and noticed the other humvee wasn't moving, the two remaining soldiers were trying to load up survivors, but the survivors were pushing and shoving each other, each trying to get to the vehicle, and no one could get in. The soldier driving decided to simply drive away, but to late as zombies poured over it.
Brian sighed... "Stupid people..." he thought to himself. They had to stick together to have a chance. He then relized that he couldn't just stand in the middle on the parking lot with zombies trying to eat him. He jumped into the van and began to follow the Hummer.

"Dawn of the Dead" was the 20-year Sequel by the Great Horror Director George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" in 1965. The Original "Dawn" was released in the 1980's, and from those who looked at it more than just a 'zombie movie' realized the vast social commentary Romero sewn with the movie with his own ideas of consumerism and humanity's actions when faced with extinction. "Dawn" was only a second part of the trilogy, as the last part, "Day of the Dead" was released in the late 80's. "Day of the Dead" is a very very hard movie to find, and presents a world controlled by the zombie menace (They win, don'cha know?).
In 1991, Savini, whom did the effects for the Romero Trilogy, headlined a modern remake of the classic 1965 Black & White "Night of the Living Dead," revitalizing the script and special zombie effects. Good thing it didn't take him 20 years, only 13, to recreate the sequal. If the Sequal does well, it just means that "Day of the Dead" will be remade, and maybe I can find the movie again.
However, the reason for the zombies is never explained in-movie, but the back of the original VHS Tape explains that the reason for the dead returning was due to radiation from a falling Space Satellite.

Ben left the bike outside an office block and went inside. Fro three stories up, he watched as the blockade was overrun, the girl beside him just sitting there speechless. He saw the humvees get overrun b zombies and the drivers eaten as the survivors retreated. His radio said that a proper blockade had been put up all around this part of the country, but a 4 hundred mile perimeter was going to be hard to maintain. A sound behind him made him turn, but the appearance of the person who had emerged behind him was of a human, not of a zombie....
Major Ming Quan Jager of the Ilhami Commandos drove into the town in an armoured truck with steel reinforced windows. The armour of the truck was of a diamondoid-titanium composite surface with an underlayer of neutronite, basically tungsten compressed at a molecular level.Above all that was at least 5 cm of steel plating.(1 inch=2.54 cm)
Having just come in from operation in Elvandair,he had arrived in Ilham to discover that a small town in Itranto was facing the problem of undead. He had been deployed with 2 other officers of the Scout Rangers.
A rogue agent of the Ilhami intelligence, engages on a spying mission within the nation of Iranto, had released a sentient bio network virus that was now wreaking havoc in a small town that they were headed to by infecting dead bodies and overring the nervous system and what remmained of the brain to organise a collective mind directing their actions. The spying had been mainly to monitor the nation.Such ops were common and the Ilham Embassy in their capital had dealt with the rogue agent, who had planned to sell the virus to terrorists.Unfirtunately, the agent had unleashed the virus to test it efficacy on population centres. The virus, which had its development curtailed as it was deemed to dangerous for use,was now running amok within an isolated town.
And thus, they had been sent in to clean up the mess and avoid a diplomatic incident.Orders were to locate the controlling nexus, which was where the virus had been dumped to test it out. This meant a graveyard, due to the abundance of decomposing organic matter.Living biological units were immune to it due to their immune system killing the virus cells. However, its was slowly evolving to overcome this weakness and gain a mobile organic core, simply put,the sentient virus wanted a living human body as its brain and centre and was evolving to achieve this aim. They had estimated that they would have at most 168 hours left.Or a week.
They were ordered to terminate any undead units and to dispose of it,as well as deal with the more dangerous aspects of creating a story that would explain how all the people had died. For contingencies, they had a small tactical nuke with them in the car,as a last resort solution. As well as a small arsenal. They had plenty of ammunution, mainly hollowpoint bullets,HESH(High Explosive Squash Head) bullets and HEAP(High Explosive Armour Piercing) bullets.Their principal weapons were MP5's,SPAS-12 shotguns,a variety of pistols,a few Magnum Sniper Rifles,1 minigun with 6000 rounds, several Uzi's and Mac-10's,M249 GPMG's,Ultimax-100 LMG's and Steyr Aug's as well as FN-P90 SMG's.For close combat, they had the recently developed chainswords, basically chainsaws as agile as swords and more lethal, with diamond teeth able to cut through all natural materials.as well as blades with monomolecular edges, such as kukri's and kindjals.
Trundling around a bend in the highway, they saw a horde of zombies slowly walking towards their care. The sentient virus, being a network virus, had a limited transmission range for now,but over time, its range and control over its minions grew more accurate.Slowly, the zombies were becoming faster, more agile and as the sentient virus learned, collectively, more intelligent.
Major Jager accelerated rapidly into the zombie horde, the steel doors locked and the 2 Scout Ranger's,Ricky and Uly,their Ultimax-100's prepped, opening fire from the steel-reinforced skylight of the armoured truck, with hollowpoint ammunition. They aimed for the heads, the hollowpoint bullets causing the rapid expansion of air as it entered the body cavities. This resulted in an explosion of gore and blood as well as other fluids from the undead. The wheels of the tire ran over the zombies, crushing them, while the bullbar rammed into the others, their ichor staining the paintwork of the truck. At the sides and bottom of the truck, sharp edged spikes rendered the zombies even more dead.
Coming out of the small horde,Major Jager stepped out of the car with a chainsword, his Volaerian Battle armour gleaming in the light of the setting sun.Swinging it in a low arc,he crippled the zombies, before finishing them off with a swipe of his kukri, cleaving bone and felsh like a bullet through paper.Meanwhile,Ricky and Uly washed the area with bullets, befire finally stopping, the last one one dead for certain.
Taking over the driving,Jager sat in the back and loaded his shotgun and Ultimax, while Uly scanned the skyline of the town, noting smoke rising in the distance. They would head to the main police station first. It was probably a bastion of humanity in this see of 'undead' and any locals would have gone there,as the weapons and protection offered by it were by far superior to any other location.
Prepping medikits, flamer's and even more ammo,Uly was certain that they could clean up this mess in no time.It seemed that some gung-ho Americans had gotten in as well. They would be useful as a distraction and could protect the civilians.Right now,the main aim of their little group was to destroy any undead they found, maybe rescue a few survivors, get to the cemetery, destroy the nexus of the network virus and hightail it out of there before it became a diplomatic incident and they were discovered.
Taking a swig from the water condenser they had in the truck,it trundled along at a steady pace, its engine humming.Intelligence had indicated that the local mart had some kind of security system and satellites had detected an individual there. They would divert course to pick up any spare ammo and weapons they could add to their arsenal as well as survivors and then head to the police station, avoiding any of these gung-ho military personnel.American military personnel were not noted fore beng cool-headed or pragmatic at times.
Spence was desperate... his most of his squad was dead now. Only 2 were left. He got pn the radio yelling.
"THIS IS LIUTNENT SPENCE REQUESTING AIRSUPPORT! I REPEAT WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS AND WE ARE REQUESTING AIR SUPPORT! OUR LOCATION IS SECTOR C-4 BY THE POLICE STATION! OVER!"
The reply came quickly.
"Roger that Liutnent Spence ground support is on its way ETA 10 minutes, air support ETA 3 minutes."
Spence groaned. He couldnt wait 10 minutes for the tanks too arrive... the helicopters and jet timing were perfect though. Soon 2 helicopters were over the area firing their machine guns and missiles into the crowd of undead. Then the copters released their rocket pods which SLAMMED into the "deadish" creatures. A single Jet dived bombed and strafed the zombies ONCE. Spence waqs glad. Maybe that could help them hold out until the tanks get here.
For 3 hours Sally fought the zombies, too busy to be sick or scared. When the blockade was broken thrhough, she jumped into the back fo one of the esacpe vehicles and sat there, speechless.
It turly had been Res Evil 3- they ha dblown the zombies apart in their multitudes, but they had kept coming.
The Millitary had done their best, but it was barely enough.
At least we bought time for others to escape. she thought.
She checked her Glock 17. It was jammed from rapid firing, and she couldn't be bothered to unjam it. so she threw it away and took a desert eagle from the box of guns in the back.
Now they were heading to god knows where, and most likely they'd be fighting zombies when they got there.
she recited the names of the fallen, dozens of good men and women, who'd done their job to the best of their abillity.
She vowed that it would not be in vain.

The truck went through a large group of the undead, splattering guts and brains all over the street. Nate heard a shotgun and looked up at the docks to see another teen shoot a zombie in the head, causing its skull to explode. He laughed at the sight. He should have been looking at the road.
The vehicle crashed through a window and into a group of zombies. "Shit!" yelled Nate as he grabbed one of his shotguns and blew an attacker in half. He grabbed the bag and climbed out of his window. More zombies appeared. He quickly shot them. He took out one of the knifes he took and threw it at another. Somehow, the knife went through the creatures head, causing it to fall to the ground.
Nate then saw his chance to escape. He ran to a ladder and began to climb. More zombies were coming. Nate soon entered what appeared to be the control room. He closed the hatch and locked it. He went over to the radio and began his search for survivors.
After a few tries, Nate got the signal for a two way radio. "HEY! Is anyone here?" Nate watched the teen on the roof grab one off his belt. "Yeah. I'm here." replied the teen. "Thank god...I have an idea on how to get out of here." said Nate.

Sgt. Trent Benedict's black and white sped down the wide avenue leading towards the blockade, when the sh*t hit the fan. "They've broken through! They've---" The voice at the other end of the line was suddenly cut off by a bloodcurdling scream. So much for the blockade...
Suddenly, he spotted the military HMMV coming right towards his squad car on the opposite side of the street. A quick glance at the passengers...and...did he just spot Ethan as one of them? With a quick jerk of the e-brake and steering wheel, the squad car squealed as it did a 180, nearly clipping the HMMV. Its tires smoked as it began its pursuit...
Switching the CB to the frequency assigned for the military, he attempted to contact the occupants of the vehicle he was pursuing...
"Ethan! Ethan! Can you hear me? What the hell happened in there?!"

IC: Alex sat on the top of the WalMart. A white tarp with HELP made from red tape was on the top. The tap was posted six feet higher than the roof. Alex had cleaned the WalMart out of every weapon, ammo box, heavy coats, first aid kits, batteries, portable radios (all on different frequencies), and non-parishable food.
He had enough food for several weeks. His arenal was the M16, 3 Rem 700s, 5 Winchesters two of which were magnums, 7 shotguns, 2 Ruger M14s, 4 S&W .38s, 2 1911s, and 3 semi-automatic MP5s. He also had a bus load of ammo, all in magizines and speedloaders. He had no idea why the WalMart had MP5s but God Bless the 2nd Ammenmendt and the NRA. He thought.
Alex walked to the side and saw about seventy plus zombies moving for the docks. He also heard a lot of gunfire and smoke rising. Alex picked up one of the 700s and began to snipe. Even after his 13th zombie they still didn't notice him. He checked round back. No zombies, doors were secure. He went back to the front and kept sniping.

Joe ran across the street. He could see someone up on the roof of the WalMart, shooting at these things. Joe was only armed with a shovel. But unfortunately, there were zombies between Joe and the WalMart. A zombie who was at one time a police officer came rushing at him. Joe made one well aimed hit and took off the zombie's head. He climbed to the top of a nearby van, and shouted at the guy on the roof. "Hey! I'm human! Do you have room for more people up there?"
Spence was running... and was being followed by a group of zombie children. He threw a terrifed look over his shoulder, and saw that it wasnt just the children. Almost every Zombie from the policestation were after him. He turned back too running and stopped short as a M1A2 rounded the corner, followed by another one, and another one, etc etc etc. The tanks formed their own blockade. Spence began too run for it. He climbed over the tanks... and they promptly opened up on the zombies... any "survivors" were promptly cut down by machine gun fire. Spence relaxed. He was surely safe now. He climbed on top of the command tank.
"ALRIGHT BOYS! WE HAVE A TOWN FULL OF ZOMBIES TOO CLEAR OUT! NOW LETS RESIDENT EVIL THIS PLACE!

Alex kept sniping till he spotted some wacko on a van. He had seen enough horror moives to know wheter vampire or zombie, one bite and a little while later your one of them. He moved the scope up and down the man. No bite marks on him. Alex looked at his stores. Heck more than I need, plus wouldn't mind having some company.
He pulled out a blowhorn and turned it on.
"RUN LIKE HELL YOU FOOL! I'LL LOWER A ROPE LADDER!" Alex did and as the man ran across Alex blasted the zombies in his way. When the man reached the top Alex checked him again for marks. "I guess your okay. I'm Alex." He waved his hand towards his mess. "Welcome to my palace. There are some more matteress. Plenty of food for several weeks or months. Get yourself a gun, execpt for the M16. It was my fathers."

Joe was glad to see someone who wasn't trying to eat him. "Thanks. I don't know how long I would've lasted out there with those things. My name's Joe."
Joe picked up one of the REM 700s and loaded it. He looked over the edge at the zombies in the parking lot. "What's the point of shooting at them from up here? We should save our ammo. We're pretty safe up here anyways."

ooc: eh...what the hell i'll join this sounds frickin awesome!
Ted was standing behind the counter at the bank where he worked. A few other people were there, the manager a few other clerks. The radio was turned on and some 90's rock was playing. Suddenly the radio was interrupted for an anoucment. Ted didn't usually pay attention to these things but this caught his ear.
"We interrupt this broadcast to issue a warning to everyone listening. Some sort of...well...zombies are killing and destroying the town. People should go to a safe place as quick as they can. They should have medical supplies and weapons with them. Go to a police station, your house, a school, townhall...any where that you think is safe. The hospitals are however overrun with dead and the highways are taken as well. We adv-"
Suddenly the radio was just static. Ted jumped over the counter and locked the doors. He ran towards the back door.
"Where are you going, Ted?! Are you insane?! You shouldn't be leaving you heard the radio! Get back in here unless you have a plan to get away from those dead things."
"I'll be back in like 20 minutes. I'm going to the gunshop and the drug store really quick for supplies. Use whatever you can to block the doors. Lower the security cages, put tables and chairs in front of them. Even tear out the ATMs and jam them in there. Use whatever you can if they try to get in here just use whatever. And do let me back in when i come back."
Ted burst out the door and ran down the street to the drug store first. He grabbed a few of the little green baskets and filled them with food, drugs, and medical kits. He threw them in a cart and brought it back to the bank. Then he ran back and grabbed another cart and ran to the gunshop. He threw every sort of weapon in there. He noticed some big knives and threw them in. He started to run back down the street when he saw the mass of people walking slowly down the street.
Ted was almost back to the bank when a dead man jumped out at him. Ted pushed the cart away and took out a pistol. Ted raised his left arm to fend off the man, but insted he took a bit out of it. He blasted the shit out of the zombie's head. He ran back into the bank with all the supplies.
"Lock the door damnit! And take these carts to the vault! We're all staying there till help comes."
"Ted, we've learned more. If they bite you you'll become one in minutes. And...what the-WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOUR ARM?!?" said the manager
"I was bitten. Hand me that big knife in the cart."
The manager handed Ted the knife.
"Hold me down but hand me a bunch of pain killers."
The manager handed Ted the bottle of pain killers. He took every pill in a matter of seconds. The he put his arm on the counter. The manager had a firm hold on him. He slashed down with the knife just under the elbow. A little under his elbow was a bloody stump. At that moment zombies started banging on the windows and doors. Ted passed out. The manager hit the "lower cage button" for the back down and blocked it with some chairs and tables then put Ted in the cart and took them both to the vault.
Taking a corner at high speeds,Ricky looked through the titanium steel bars that served as the windscreen of the car.The windows at the side were shut tight while the camera at the top showed the rear of the vehicle showed the scene behind them. The zombies had indeed grown a bit smarter in the last few hours, only a bit. They had finally progressed to using whatever they could pick up as close combat wepaons, though if it was too heavy their decaying arms or legs would simply fall off, unable to tolerate the weight of the object.
In front of the car,a zombie child was waving a crowbar, directed by the vision of its compatriots. If you blew out its eyes, the zombies could still see you if they had companions nearby. The network virus was using signals from the eyes of other zombies to guide blinded ones. They had also began to run across cyberzombies, basically zombies using some metal parts here and there to enhance themselves, attaching chainsaws to their hands.Again, showing that the virus was adapting and learning rapidly. The zombies possessed increasing motor control and were now nearly walking instead of shuffling.
Running over the undead in front of the car,Ricky heard short burts coming from Uly's pistol and sniper rifle, and the roaring of the Major's flamer as it set undead on fire. The spikes potruding from under the car and the sides had done the job pretty well.
Turning left at a junction near the Walmart,Ricky ran over a large group of undead children, the massive wheels crushing flesh and bone into a jellylike state. The Walmart was now in sight,a rope ladder being pulled up by occupants on the roof.Milling around the entrances that had been been sealed by steel shutters, zombies pawed uselessly at the thick steel, their efforts useless in breaching it.They would need a blowtorch to use it,and Ricky doubted that they had the intelligence to use such equipment, yet.
On top of the armoured van,Major Jager shouted at the man on top of the roof in English. His dark Eurasian features setting him aside beside his 2 Filipino associates,he shouted out at the guy.
"Hey you!Can you open the loading bay of this place?Looks like you need some help with your zombie problem."
As the undead turned their attention to the new arrival,Uly quickly took them out with his magnum sniper rifle, quickly dispatching them with shots to the head or to the neck, severing any link with the nervous system. The best way to deal with these adapting zombies was to shoot them in an area that would disrupt their nervous system.Electricity worked well, short circuiting the virus which was technoorganic in nature.Destroying their backbone, brain stem, neck and head were also good methods.Or you could just justr explosive munitions to deal with them.
Drawing out 3 Fragmentation grenades and 2 phosphorus-thermite-napalm grenades,Uly chucked them into the oncoming crowd. The explosions sent up a geyser of body parts and gore in all directions, the frag grenades ripping the zombies apart and the incendiary grenades burning whatever remained.Beside him,Major Jager sent quick bursts from his Ultimax 100.Inside,Rickly drove the van to the loading dock at the back.
OOC: Ramadoom, not at all, though since your a police sergeant I think you meant to talk to the cop with Jack, whos name is Ethan, since Jack is a drug dealer and the such for a mafia family, don't think he'd be getting to friendly with cops (excluding right now of course, but this is a special exception since the towns overrun with undead lol)
IC:
Jack continued to blaze away at zombies with his M-16. The gun ran dry so he slapped in a fresh magazine and started firing again, the radio was on, a police sergeant was talking on the CB, but Jack was in the back seat, and to busy shooting zombies to talk.
Ethan grabbed the radio and responded, "Sergeant, sergeant is that you? This is officer Ethan Tyrell, we're in a lot of shit...take that you mother******!" Ethan screamed as he raised his gun and fired off several rounds at a zombie that lunged out at them.

"Nice to meet you." He turned around and fired the last shell and blew a zombie's head off. "Well, the more we kill now, the less we have to worry about. But you got a point there. Unless power fails we're safe."
Alex hooked up several wires to some tvs and turned them on. "This is the security camera system exterior and interior. So we can stay here out of sight and keep watch. So, how'd you meet these things?"

Christian stood on the roof, and felt his hopes die when the truck crash and burn. Fortunately, the pathway was relatively clear. Christian took a deep breath, sucked up his gut, and ran at the edge of the roof. He jumped off...
Maybe a second of flight, and he landed on a dumpster right out front that had toppled over. Maybe 5 zombies were left on the streets, and each looked relatively pissed and hungry. He started to sprint. As he ran, he turned around, pumped the shotgun in his arms, and fired. A shell splintered a skull, and one fell down. He stopped, pumped the gun again, and fired off another round, shattering another skull.
He turned and fled, running across the street. He came to a grocery store, a small little privately owned one. He swung the gun's butt into a window, and a burglar alarm went off somewhere inside, but he didn't care. He jumped in the window, and turned around, pumping the gun. The three were advancing relatively slowly. He fired, and a shell hit two skulls... a good luck blow. He pumped the gun one last time, and squeezed back on the trigger.
Click.
"Oh, shit!" Christian swore. He felt down his pant pockets, looking for one last shell as the undead wandered closer, albeit slowly. He was out. He slung the gun over his back, and jumped back out the window. It was maybe 5 feet away from him. He could kill it, or he could run. He stared it cold in the eyes as it advanced. It was the one that had bit rusty 3 days ago.
He unslug his shotgun, let out a war cry, and ran at it, brandishing the buttstock of the gun. Within striking distance, he kicked the thing in the chest. It must have been old, for the cavity caved in, embedding his foot. The corpse fell over, leaving him on top. He stared down as it clawed at his leg with it's stubby fingers. Without flinching, he brought the buttstock down hard into it's head, and a loud shatter could be heard over the burning flames of the truck.
Kicking free, he started to walk. 5 steps away, he dropped the shotgun. Across the street, there stood a WalMart. It was nice and big, and they were reknowned to be the only place where you could buy a shotgun and Cheerios at the same time. Some food and some armaments would be much appreciated. He started to run.

"Jesus Christ...they broke through the blockade, didn't they?" Then it struck him. His wife and child was still in the emergency center downtown. "Oh God...Ethan, did Jess--"
The conversation was cut short as Ethan screamed out on the other line.
Okay, okay...Worry about it later. If the National Guard kept their word, they're still okay...
Dodging bodies and debris littering the streets, the Crown Vic finally caught up with the Hummer. Its engine roared as it kept shifting up--with the addition of the sirens, you would've thought it was trying to give the others a speeding ticket.
He spotted a zombie jump from atop a light post and onto the Humvee in front. Trent lowered the window, positioned the car a bit off to the right of the truck, and pointed his Beretta at the creature. *POP POP POP POP POP* With each successive slug piercing through its body, it grew limp until it finally loosened its grip and fell into the asphalt. The Crown Vic jerked as its wheels turned it into roadkill.
"So what's the plan...?"

Ted woke up some while later. Loud banging was coming from the door. The was no light coming from the lights. The was a small fire in the room and some makeshift torches. A shirt was tied around his arm and it was soaked with blood. Ted's head was spinning.
"Ted...Ted wake up. We're locked in the vault and the zombies are trying to break the door down. We've used some money and whatever eles we could find to make fire. It works very well against the zombies. Jerry was torn apart in our attempt to retake the bank. Now there's no wa out because they took the door about an hour ago." said the manager.
"Screw that! We'll use the vents. Open the safe desposit boxs to make some stairs. Do we have any flamable medicene to put in some safe deposit boxes?" Ted said.
Ted struggled to get up. After about another hour they got weapons and some stairs to the vents. They filled two boxes full of medicens and paper. Ted went in first then his co-worker Jack. He was armed with several pistols and a shotgun. He crawled to right above the vault door.
"Jack have them seal off the vents and to arm themselves."
He put the shout gun aside and pushed the vent cover down. Then he took a safe desposit box. He took his lighter, lit a dollar bill and tossed it in the box. He threw the box down into the hoard of zombies and did it again. He swung his legs down and grabbed his shotgun in his only arm. He jumped down he fired twice and took out some zombies. He ran backwards towards the stairs. Then two more flaming boxes took out more zombies. Jack jumped down with a crowbar and started taking out zombies. Ted fired slug after slug till he was out of ammo. He thossed his gun upside down and used the butt to smash open zombie heads. He heard a cry he looked at Jack and saw a bite on his chest. He threw his gun then drew a pistol and shot Jack. He ran upstairs and ran outside. He ran down the street to the sports shop. He ran inside and saw the clerk was a zombie. He grabbed a bat and smashed its head in.
"Shit, I gotta get some where with more people and tell them about the bank."
He ran back to the bank parking lot. He unlocked his truck and grabbed his backpack. He started his car and started down the street. He noticed a group of zombies in the middle of the road. He floored it and ran three over. Four more were walking towards him. He drew his pistol again and shot three. Then he took the back and charged at the last one. He hit it in the chest over and over. Its arms flew off and over leg dropped from its body. It fell on the ground but Ted kept hitting it over and over. Once its head came loose. He turned around and ran back into the gun shop. He grabbed four more shot guns and ammo. He filled his backpack with ammo till it could hold no more.
He drove down the highway. He noticed some gun shots from the Walmart. But there was a mass of zombies all around it. He drove to his apartment and parked his truck in his garage and locked it. He ran upstairs to his room. He made some slings for the shotguns. He went into his closet and grabbed his hack saw. He tied it around with his belt with some more rope. He tied another shirt around his elbow.
He ran downstairs and put his backpack on. He ran back to the highway. He darted from building to building and made his way to Walmart. He was hiding from behind a cornerwhen something ripped down his whole back. He screamed and his side was cut all the way down. He turned around to see a woman standing there. She clawed at him agian. He fell to his back and drew his pistol. He fired and her head flew straight off.
He limped towards the Walmart. He noticed that a lot of zombies had left the side he was going to. He noticed a door at the far end. He sprinted the whole way there. The door was locked. He took his pistol and fired a whole clip into the door. He kicked the door open. He found himself in a hardware store. Luckily he was standing next to the welders. He welded the door closed and knocked over a shelf to block the door.
He made his way to the roof door. It was locked. He started pounding on the door. He tried kicking it until he couldn't do anything. He wished he had his left arm back. So he started screaming at the door.

[Walmart]
Slowly but surely, the number of zombies was increasing around the van as it waited for the door of the loading bay to open. The mass of zombies was pressing against it and now, zombies were beginning to use basic bars of metal and whatever they could pick up to pummel the steel shutters.Which had little effect, bouncing off the thick steel lick rubber balls.
Ricky had driven to the loading bay at the back of Walmart, which was sealed with steel shutters as well.Reversing over zombies bodies that were crushed under the wheels and ripped apart by the extended metal blades of the van bottom,he was now firing shots from a SPAS 12 shotgun out of the windscreen, through gaps in the steel bars that served as it,the glass windscreen retracted. The zombies were hammering the armoured van with objects of all types, leaving only a few scratches and dents, otherwise the armour being too strong to penetrate.
A group of zombies,in an amazing display of stupidity and intelligence both, chose to charge the van en masse. What they did not expact was a concentrated volley of fire from Ricky,Uly and Jager at the same time, shotguns and machine guns as well as grenades ripping them apart in a display of firepower, the gunshots echoing throughout the building, adding to the cacophony of the moaning undead. They still had not learned their lesson. The sentient virus was persistent.
In an unpredicted move, the zombies suddenly withdrew, leaving a space around the van, littered with the body parts of their fallen comrades. They merely began to circle the van, occasionally falling to the superior ranged fire of the sniper rifles now being used.Bringing out an automatic grenade launcher,Jager began to lay down a barrage of thermal grenades, leaving large craters of liquefied flesh and melted tar as the smoke cleared.Large gaps had been made in the massed zombie horde. It was then that small stones and bricks began to be hurled their way from the zombies,a rain of projectiles that dented the vans armour.Dropping into the vans back,Jager reloaded while Uly chose a tactical shield to use as protection.Meanwhil, with sniper rifle and shotgun,Ricky from the front continued to take potshots at the undead, his shotgun by his side to provide point defence.
[the main hospital]
Amir rode into the hospital on his motorcycle, his Volaerian Battle Armour setting him out.He was another Commando posted to the small town for this mission. He was a Sargeant operating independently of Major Jager's team, though Jager know of his presence.A Pathan of large size,Amir rode his motorcyle through a barricade at great speed. The main hospital in sight. He had been dispatched here to deal with once of the nodes of the virus. The traitor agent had also planted a node in the main hospital as well, before Amir had executed him, finishing him off with a kindjal through the throat.
Riding up the ramp of the main hospital,he was surprised that the undead hadn't gotten out yet. That meant that someone was containing them so far,or the sentient virus was gathering its strength. He suspected that by now,it had gotten a living host body, and would seek to upgrade itself. After all,in a hospital, people in the ICU tended to have weak immune systems and a determined assault by the sentient virus would have been successful in possessing one of these patients.
As he rode into the main parking lot,he stopped above the Emergency Department.Unsurprisingly, his suspicions were confirmed.Somebody had sealed the hospital, even the fire escapes, overridng all other systems to keep the undead in and prevent them from spreading any further.Steel shutters and concrete slabs were placed haphazardly over all the entrances except one, which was the main entrance.
Unslinging his shotgun,he walked toward the main entrance and activated his low-light/thermal imager.Within, the hospital was plunged in darkness, and a constant shuffling of feet could be heard within,as well as moans, screams and gunshots.
[the main hospital]
Amir crouched low as he loaded up with many clips of ammo, most of it hollowpoint ammo, designed to cause the rapid expansion of air upon impact, rupturing the target in half.It worked best on unarmoured organic foes,in this case zombies or humans. With dual chainswords hanging at his thighs,he wielded two M249's akimbo, his power servos within the armour helping to suport them. His power armour was powered by a fusion cell in an armourd backpack.Slung at his waist were satchels containing C-8 IXI explosive,8 times more powerful than conventional C-4.As well as various painkillers, power bars, ammo clips, stimulants and a few kindjals and a kukri.
Over his shoulder was slung 2 MP5's,a Mac-10 and an M-4 Carbine.Leaving his Harley bike, loaded down with extra provisions right outside the broken automatic door,he walked in,his visor amplifying ambient light and using thermal emissions to create a composite image. It was as good as seeing in the dark. The minute he entered, the screams of living humans was heard down the hall.Gun fire could be heard down a winding corridor and flashes of light from tracers were brightening the dark situation of the hospital.
Running down the corridor at high speed,Amir switched to the MP5's for ease of use in dealing with the coming enemy.Running down the corridor,he came nearer to a door that lead to the doctor's mess.As he approached it,it swung open to reveal a zombie in a bloodstained doctor's smock.Amir could not stop himself from runnig full tilt into it.Freshly dead,it had just risen and was still strong of flesh, unlike its other decayed comrades.Amir's momentum carried it along with him before it howled, throwing all its power into a punch to his abdomen.Which was useless, given the thick titanium polymer composite used in constructing the armour.the zombie's fist bounced off the armour with a clang, before Amir straddled it and smashed its fist into its howling throat. The howling abruptly stopped, replace with a gurgling sound as it rose up and took hold of Amir's armoured neck with its jaws. Then,it clamped down.Promptly breaking all its teeth on the collar that protected his neck.Lifting it,Amir dashed it against the wall, its skull dissolving as he fired the MP5's at it,reducing its skull to a grayish paste.
Picking up the pace after his first encounter,he promised to himself to clear out the mess and/or seal it after he rescued whoever was still fighting these undead.Sprinting into a junction,he saw a group of policemen right outside the only entrance to the maternity ward, shooting at the zombies trying to come through a barricade composed of trolleys and bed frames.5 policemen were desperately using whatever they could to cripple the zombies, their pistols and shotguns running low on ammo judging by their conservative use of them. What looked like little dolls lay on the ground, slowly crawling into the barricade.Until Amir zoomed in on them from a distance and saw what they truly were.
His gorge rising,Amir came out behind a pillar,in full view of the zombie horde and policemen, his pale green armour reflecting the dim light of the maternity ward. With a sudden scream of delight, the zombies shambled towards him, their moans increasing in tempo.Raising his akimbo MP5's,amir cut loose, the hollowpoints blasting away heads, limbs, bones and faces. At the sight of the single armoured man firing away upon the horde, the morale of the police rose once again, opening fire on the horde and chipping them away one at a time, blowing them apart at the pelvis or neck.
As the fallen zombies obstructed their comrade's movement,Amir slung his SMG's before putting his chainswords to full power.Charging into the melee,he crushed skulls and limbs underfoot, his power servos and combat skills clearing him a path to the barricade in a few seconds.Chopping apart zombies with great arcs of both his chainswords,he cleared the barricade, leaping above it and rolling to a halt. With unspoken commands,he threw his MP5's to the policement whose weapons had run dry,as well as the Mac-10.With all their clips to share as they would.Drawing his M4,he fired into the zombie ranks, picking off any zombie babies that got through with his marksmanship. He drew beads on zombie heads, for 10 whole minutes his focus on getting headshots.Slowly, the ammunition for all those weapons began to be depleted, until none was left.
In the junction before the maternity ward, limbs, organs and bodies stained the walls with gore, blood red intestines dripping from the ceiling as well. The corridor that Amir had come through was now filled with zombies, coming from the doctor's mess. These zombies were harder to kill, tougher,a bit smarter. And able to use weapons like crowbars and needles.Assesing his options,Amir realised that a virus node was indeed based in the hospital, probably near an easily defended location.Harder to attack.Which meant the basement carpark, the most easily defended part of the hospital. The zombies had greater collective intelligence, continually improvising crude but still ineffective weapons to get at the survivors within the maternity ward.
[main hospital]
With their options now limited,Amir talked to the leader of the small bunch of police,a Captain Luke.
Cpt Luke:Thanks for the help but who the hell are you man?You pretty much saved our asses back there from these asswipe zombies. We were trying to evacuate the patients from the materity ward when some person in the security centre of the building put it into lockdown mode,to seal it off. Then these.....things started to come for us.We barely managed to hold them off and from a group of 20 of us,as you can see, only 9 of us are left.
Amir:(voice scrambled)Think of me as a friend.I require you and your men's help for a certain task to solve this problem. You see,I know the cause of this and I know how to stop it.What I need is the manpower.
Luke:Well, this is some big government conspiracy thing eh!What if I don;t want to help? What if I talk to the media afterwards?Would you kill us?Would you 'silence' all the witnesses?
Amir:It would be counter productive to kill you all.Furthermore,it is safe to say that I am not an agent of your Itranto government.I am simply an agent of a foreign government here to solve a problem of great magnitude.Of course,if you tell anyone,no one will believe you and we will deny all knowledge.Your country's intelligence agencies are inefficient to say the least.Let's cut a deal.I help you evacuate these civilians, you help me to my job.How about it?Be pragmatic. You don't have the firepower to handle all these and the main police headquarters have been overrun. You either stick with me and survice or go your own way and most probably die.Either way,its your choice.
Luke:(after a few minutes pondering it)Well, looks like I have no choice now do I.Guess you know what you're doing.I'll cooperate with you if you help me get these people out from the maternity ward.
Amir:It's settled.Now lets get out of here before......Oh s.h.i.t.
The screams of women and the cries of infants echoed through the ward as well as the howls of savage joy from undead lips. The zombies had come through the vent system, dropping into the main nursery into the small group of new mothers and children that had survived. With savage bloodlust, they bit into the flesh of babies, drinking the new blood, their weakned mothers flinging themselves at the zombies in defence of their children,to no avail.
Crashing through the plaster wall, the giant figure of Amir charged into the fray, crushing skulls with his power-enhanced grip, sending a zombie flying with a powerful back kick.Running to the open vent in the wall,Amir kicked a zombie in the face as it came through, the armoured boot slaming through bone, brain and flesh into the concrete behind it.Running quickly to the heavy metal radiator set in the wall,Amir ripped it out as officers came through, using their weapons to whip the zombies and steel bars ripped from the bedframes. At the barricade, the tide of zombies increased, the barricade slowly beginning to give way under their weight.
"FIRE IN THE HOLE" sceamed Amir as he unlatched half his grenades from his waist belt and chucked them to the policemen.Priming their fuses, they threw them all at one go into the vent, throwing their guns in as well at the faces of zombies,to slow them down.Shoving the radiator grill into place,Amir was felt the shockwave from the explosion, contained within the enclosed space of the vent. The steel grill and concrete wall protected him from the worst effects, while he shoved as many heavy objects as possible against the open vent to block it.
Returning to the barricade,he saw the police using iron bars to beat back the clawing hands of the many undead, the surviving women shivering as they clutched their children tighter. One woman promptly screamed and fainted when she saw her husband among those rearing to feast on their flesh, his outstrecthed hands grasping the throat of an officer before being promptly severe at the shoulder by Amir."GET BACK.WE STILL HAVE A FEW MINUTES WHILE THE VENT BARRIER HOLDS.FIRE IN THE HOLE!"
Throwing a small satchel of remotely detonated C-8 IXI into the zombie crowd,he detonated it,splattering them far and wide and blowing them to kingdome come as well as ripping open a large hole in the ceiling and floor, from whch even more zombies spilled. It was at this moment the the fun really began.Using both M249's,he walked forward into the onslaught, both guns firing even as more Zombies surged forward. In the distance, the vent barrier broke as the living humans possessed by the virus led large hordes of zombies through the vent. The policemen guarding the women held the door of that room close while Captain Luke fired his Mac-10 into the undead swarm, the tide slowly giving way to the rain of molten metal coming their way.Another police officer tugged the bandolier of grenades and C-8 IXI from Amir as he fired his guns.Turning to face the zombies,he flung one grenade after another into the horde, blasting them to pieces even as they came.Without hesitation,he flung all the C-8 IXI at the 2 other corridors, which collapsed in an earth shattering explosion that burst his eardrums and sent sharpnel flying through the air.It embedded itself into one eye, blinding him,yet buying precious time for the others to evacuate.Stumbling,he suddenly fell through the hole into the floor upon a large slab of concrete, breaking his neck before he felt anything.A merciful death.
Shepherding the patients out of the ward,Amir led the way,his hailstorm of fire blowing away what few zombies appeared in the corridor he had come through, while at the back, policemen retreated from the undead, the zombies bring slowed by the fire of the Mac-10,as it sent bolt after bolt of hollowpoint steel at them.
Rushing through the corridor, they finally arrived at the entrance,to greet the sight of a carpark free of undead, the sun shining brightly in the afternoon sky and a thin man in a security guards uniform waving at them at the deserted reception,a trapdoor opening to a reinforced bunker which served as the hospitals control centre.

Alex looked at the van.
"I do not know." He pucked up a laptop and began to type in a series of commands. Just before he was about to it the ENTER button the stopped. "Sweet Jesus. That guy is surrounded by zombies." Alex picked up his M16 and turned to run when he heard the door being beaten on. Alex picked up a shot gun and opened the door. A bloodied man stood in front of him. Alex noticed he was human, but Alex thought the guy might be bitten.
"Joe, cover him. If his mouth starts to water when he looks at you blow his head off." He put down the shotgun for his M16 and darted for the loading bay. He picked up a walkie-talkie on his way down the roof, "I'm on channel 3." Alex ran and got behind some boxes
"Joe open it." The door opened. Once it was large enough the vechile came through. John it the close switch and as it was closeing sent a string of rounds at the zombies, luckly none got in. The door shut and Alex sealed it. He walked up and carefully opened the door. "You guys not bitten?"
Sally groaned. she was currently hiding behind a crate, next to an old warehouse a block from the Walmart.
The Vehicle she ha dbeen in had smashed its way through a bunch of zombies, but one of them ha dgotten hold of the windscreen wipes and smashed its way into the front seat.
She and one other officer were probably the only survivors.
She looked at the wounded officer next to her. He was bleeding from wounds suffered during the crash- otherwise, she may have been forced to kill him- to spare him the agony of zombification.
She couldn't believe the horror and blood she had seen since this morning.
She oculdn't believe so many were dead and dying.
Why had ther enot been a total evacuation?
She had seen some shifty looking foreign commandoes a while back, and wondered if this was some kind of invasion.
She shuddered. No human could be so cruel as to unleash zombies on a small town- could they?
She checked her 'Eagle.
Still working.
Groans and wails in the distance told her the zombies were on the move.
And it look like they were all converging on the Walmart.
Jager,Uly and Ricky stepped out of the van, visible in their Magas V. Battle armour, coated with oil and slightly dented from the bricks that had been thrown at them.Power servos and hydroplastic muscles and actuators working, they stretched their muscles, having been doing nothing but firing their guns and expending ammo from the truck.t
Over the radio,Jager received reports from Amir about the situation at the hospital, how a few survivors had been found and how a few local authorities had been persuaded to aid them in their mission.Of course, the most critical mission was that of Jager's group.
Looking out from his reflective visor that shielded his face,he slung his M-1 Gero Battle Rifle over his shoulder. It was an Ilhami product, tough, reliable and hi-tech.A hybrid of assault rifle and sniper rifle, with all the strengths, none of the weaknesses. In his armour,he stood over 2 metres tall, while outside,he stood at just 1.95 metres. Not that he intended to take off his armour.Same with Ricky and Uly,the Scout Rangers assigned to him.
Stalking over to a thin Caucasian male who was carrying a laptop,he took of his visor, revealing a broad face that reflected his German and Vietnamese mixed heritage.
"So,whats your name?My name's Jager. We thank you for letting us into this place. We are looking to rustle up a little aid to handle this...situation that ou have going on here.Your help would be appreciated, plus sticking with us would increase your chances of survival. We know the threat that you face here and it required offensive action, whereas you are obviously content to sit out this siege."
Over at the van,Ricky monitored the radio, receiving a transmission from Amir over at the main hospital. It seemes that the virus had adapted.Possessed humans with more intelligence and greater control of themselves as well as the knowledge of using tools and tactics had been reported in the hospital. So far.Outside of the hospital node,it seemed that if bitten, the virus was fought off by the immune system. The virus was carried in bodily fluids,so if saliva, blood or other fluids came into contact with an open wound, they tended to be destroyed. However, the attacks that resulted in the transmission of the virus often resulted in life threatening wounds that weakened the body to the extent that the victim died and the virus then assimilated the brain tissue and nervous system of the body. The zombies became weaker the greater the distance from a node, with the zombies in the hospital obviously more agile, faster and intelligent, though no less persistent.Obviously, the central node covered the whole town, while the hospital node had obviously been contained.
[hospital]
Handing out spare clubs and electric tasers from the control centre,Amir gave a boost to the survivors, handing out power bars, stimulants and energy packs from his waist belt,as he went to his bike to resupply. He had taken only a small portion of his arsenal, which had been exhausted in his initial foray. He now had a better idea of zombie numbers and tactics within the confined spaces of the hotel. His armour stained with ichor from the zombie dead,he loaded up on pistols and other ammo, before getting in his bike and making a run to nearby marts for food supply, while the security guard had sealed the main entrance off from the inside, leaving only the main entrance to the surface carpark. With the policemen, they had barred the emergency escapes and vent systems.Using some C-8 IXI set to explode if motion was detected, they had mined the vents and had set motion sensors which would ring if any movement occured in the vents.
They had also sealed off the lift shafts, which Amir had inspected, only to find numerous zombies writhing at the bottom, forming a carpet that was slowly building up,still 3 stories down at the bottom basement carpark.Using whatever parts they could scavenge, they had cobbled themselves together, repairing themselves as best as they could after the massacre he had inflicted on them.Using staples and whatver they could, they reattached limbs and heads, fusing together muscles with metal bits and strings of the gooey virus blood to make themselves look like cyberdemons, more accurately, cyberzombies.Clunky, slow and clumsy. With a thirst for flesh and blood. He had chucked a few thermobaric grenades down for good measure. So far,no zombies had attempted to come this way.Using welding equipment raided from a hardware store, they had welded the lift doors shut.
In the main lobby, dimly lit using power from the diesel generator that served as the backup, located in the command centre,Luke passed out weapons to the surviving police,8 in number now. With what had seemed like an extreme dose of luck, they had chanced upon a black market weapon shop,as the black market district was located near the hospital.Using the 2 squad cars they had, they had ferried them all to the hospital. They had enough weapons to start a small war.And all of it military grade."Looks like the damn liberal gun laws you have here in Itranto work pretty well" quipped Amir,as Luke just silently smiled.Amir had restocked his ammo and was now using his M-1 Gero Battle Rafle, using 7.62mm ammo, along with the 2 M249's,with plenty of thermobaric, incendiary and frag grenades.Bandoliers and belts of ammo and bombs hung from his armour.Meanwhile, the police were looking more like guerilla fighters, wearing a mix of doctor's smocks, nurses uniforms and the ripped tatters of their police attire.Between the clothes, they wore plates of steel as makeshift armour, protecting their torso area and back.
In Amir's opinion, think Rambo working as a medical technician and you got the idea.
Talking to the guard, whose name was George,he found out that he was the last security guard alive in the hospital. The bunker was a nuke bunker that the hospital had built over. They had upgraded and furnished it to serve as a control centre.
Amir:So,what happened to all the other guards. You did a pretty good job sealing up this place, except this main area. Its nearly as tight as a sewed up donkey's ass.
Geroge:Well, when these zombie things firts came up,we didn't know what to do.We tried to stop them but we couldn't.Then some boys who had seen some old zombie movies decided to seal up the entrances and exits. We "borrowed" some concrete makers from the construction site over there and some bulldozers as well as dynamite and blew up all the possible exits. We sealed up pretty much everything. Then we surveyed the mess using the cameras that still worked and found this...thing down at the basement. Some type of mega zombie thing, only its like a living human, fused together with all these bits and pieces. The boys all went down there to deal with it.I had a broken leg,so they told me to stay here and monitor the situation. When they climbed down the elevator shaft, they got swarmed by those damn things. All of them died. Each and every one.Anyways, this is the only entrance left unsealed, and we got the bulldozers parked downstairs blocking the emergency department. All the wards now belong to the dead.as for the basement, all the cameras and sensors linked to them are gone.Just cut off.
Amir:So we got some sort of megazombie in the final basement who you think controls the rest of these buggers? And you have plenty of dynamite.
George:Summed up,yes.By the way,who are you.I served in the army back in my young days and I never saw any gear like that. You from special forces or something?
Amir:Think of me as an agent of a foreign government trying to avoid a diplomatic dispute.Of huge proportions. That is all you need to know.Of course,if you tell anyone,no one would believe you.And don't bother trying to guess the country either.I'll help you.You help me.
George:(frowning at Amir's tone)Sure.I guess.I'm a realist. So you one of those covert ops people eh?Aren't you going to kill us all after you finish this mission?
Amir:No.It is counterproductive and not worth the effort.Your military intelligence people are inefficient to say the least, and my embassy will deny all knowledge of this. This matter will simply be hushed up and swept under the carptet by your Itranto government. After all,how can a civilised country explain sending an army after a bunch of dead people?Your country would be a laughing stock if this was exposed .So,it will dissappear. Now,about that dynamite.......
[Main node,central cemetery]
Floating in the liquid, the host body of the sentient virus that had named itself Po-2-3-8-X-6-6 or simply Lilia pondered its mission. Its mission was one of ensuring the purity of form of human beings. As well as purity of essence. To bring humans to a new level. That was its program. And it would do whatever it took to bend humans to its will, its vision of purity. The union of machine and human spirit, the ultimate fruit it sought.Beyond cyborgisation, beyond all,it would become a GOD!
Within the dank crypt, the naked figure of the host body stepped out, liquid water dripping from its flesh, full breasts with skin forming goosebumps as the cold air pricked it.Curvaceous and luscious, black hair falling in tresses against ebony skin, ivory eyes peering out from a face of aquiline nose and full lips, oval in shape with a high widow's peak.Spines of bone jutted from the back, curving in a arc to form wings of a sort.Blood dripped from the tips of her mouth, having drunk freshly from a fresh victim.Plates of titanium and bone adorned her skull in ridges, armouring her human frame against the vagaries of time. Her bodyguard consited of hulking brutes composed of engineered muscles, sinew and steel, standing at 4 metres tall, their black eyes glinting in the dim darkness of the crypt.Fused from the engineered flesh and bone of the living and dead,Liliath saw them as her finest creations. The zombies were worthless, only cannon fodder.Soon, when she had reached her perfect, ever evolving form, ever adapting and learning, imitating, innovating and storing, she would be a force of nature.
Liliath had possessed the body of an engineering student,a postgraduate with knowledge in molecular engineering, molecular biology and genetics.Combined with the morphing abilities of Liliath and its own extensive knowledge of military technology and history, computing and biological warfare,'she' had chosen the body to possess,to have as its own.The flesh of the dead had proven an ideal tool, one that would serve its usefulness in time. They provided numbers, she provided basic guidance.
She had been created in the military labs of Ilham,a sentient network virus ment to decimate entire population centres.Of course, some programmers had changed that, resulting in her attitude. The end justified the means. And the end was her becoming an almighty god,to match and maybe exceed even the Ulthaj, the Keth'Hamul masters. She knew the secrets of Ilham, their hidden powers, the dimensions and universes undiscovered, the nexus of all Creation that the mythic Ulthaj guarded, the secret of the Ilham-Janthril's.The Tree of Life,The Fruit of Wisdom,The Seed of Intelligence. She would possess them all.And as she was eternal, she would take them for her own.Her creators had wanted to destroy her, seeing the danger that she posed, they had nearly succeeded.Until the rogue agent of Ilham had released her,set her free in the nation-entity of Itranto and all its population in this small town.
Now her masters had come, her creators had set out to destroy her, erase her from existence in this plane of reality. She would foil them, and devour them. Her intelligence exceeded human level, and within a week, she would attain a perfect form, become a being beyond human comprehension,to do with as she willed. She surfed the realm of cyberspace, drawing on new technologies, absorbing and breaking through all barriers. With each iscovery, soon, she would unleash her perfect creation, the son of her thought, born in the labour of blood and human bone. Her male form,an extension of this main human vessel. The humans could still perceive her actions slightly, her creators at the very least. And her powers of control were still limited to just within the cemetery, only being able to see and hear all from the collective consciousness of her slaves. She could only give them guidance and release them.So far, that was the only limting factor in her plans.Internal programming hardwired into her to limit her powers was the thing restraining her,and she would overcome it.With patince,a week would pass and her internal limits, placed upon her by her creators, would be destroyed. Her only barrier to the path of ultimate power removed.Soon, very soon she would attack. And free her other side, her enforcer who personified death in its pure organic form.Already, her creators sought to destroy him as well.
With the fusion of technology of living flesh, she was techno-organic in nature and soon,no physical thing would harm her.
Nate blinked. He must have been seeing things, because the other person wasn't there. "Damn it..." he said to himself. He sighed and went back to work. After what seemed like hours, Nate just gave up. He banged his head on a desk. He opened a drawer and found a zippo and some a cigerette. "Guess I don't have to worry about the dangers of smoking." he said. He lit the smoke, and inhaled. He began to hack and cough. He dropped the cigerette.
It was at that moment, that the hatch burst open with zombies. Nate had used what he thought were containers of water to keep it down, but it was gas. One shot a trail of gastowards the fallen cigerette. The trail ignited and went back to container, which had landed near the zombies. It exploded.
Nate saw this and got behind the desk before he would get hurt. He grabbed his bag and ran for a window. Flaming zombies chased after him. The teenager leaped out of the window and landed in the water. The zombies though, landed in the fueling zone.
If Nate had been concious, he would have seen a magnificent explosion, destroying the docks and the zombies that had been there. Nate though, just floated to shore and for the first time in awhile, slept.

"Nice to meet you I'm Alex." Alex slung the M16 over his shoulder and extracted the spent mag. He began to pull shells out of his pocket and began to reload. "Come on. I'll take you upstairs. But first, I have an urge to satisfy my sweet tooth."
He lead them to the small eatery which had an assorment of candy, slushies, sodas, burgers, and hot dogs. "Fill up all we got is not parishables up on the roof. I cleaned this place of ammo and food front and back." He turned on his walkie talkie. "Joe come in Joe." At that moment he heard a massive explosion. Sh*t what was that?

"Yeah Alex, I'm here. Looks like there was some explosion over at the docks. Lots of smoke and shit."
Joe was looking through a pair of binoculars at the sight, watching the black column of smoke drift lazily into the sky. There where other fires around the city, but this one was by far the largest.
"Glad I'm not there...."

"Damn. Alright, there are three army looking types from that van I let in. We're in the eatery and I was wondering if you wanted a burger, dog, or anything? From where you are look at the dock and look for the marinea. There should be a small sailing boat called the Sea Serpent written in gold with a green outline on the stern pointed at you. See how she is. One other thing. How is that other guy?"

Christian approached the Walmart.. off in the distance, a few explosions could be heard, and then silence. The Walmart appeared abandoned. Either that, or everyone had died inside. Down the street, 3 figures were moving. They entered a structure, what appeared to be a candy shop or diner. It was a 50/50 chance of what they were, but he had to take the risk.
He ran across the street, maybe 3 blocks, to a small eatery. The windows were a bit dirty, and only showed 3 outlines, just standing there. He walked up to the door, and opened it. Three humans, and a few guns on each, it appeared.
"Don't shoot, I'm human!" He said, coming in, his hands up.
Nate woke up face down. For a few moments, he thought that it was only a nightmare, but when he saw what remained of the docks, he knew it was real. He looked at himself. He had several burns and some pieces of glass were in his skin, but nothing to serious. He reached for his bag, and found it considerablt lighter. He opened it and found that part of it had melted and some guns and ammo had gotten out. All that was left was just a shotgun and at most 30 shells.
He groaned and got up. He grabbed his things and began to walk toward the town. "Damn...god damn it..." he muttered as he walked. He couldn't believe the shit he was in. He'd have to find shelter soon, or die. So far, he hadn't encountered any zombies since the explosion, but he had to be carefull. He began to wonder if the disaster had passed.
(zombie p.o.v.)
The creature it had been following looked tired. Perhaps half-dead. This creature was stupid. It was walking alone in the middle of the town, with thinking about the consiquences. The creature sat down and looked around. It had let its guard down. The zombie began its own weapon.
(Nate)
Nate looked up. A buzzing had started and it sounded like a chainsaw. Nate grabbed his shotgun and got up. A zombie came out of the shadows with a chainsaw attached to its arm. It ran towards him. "Tsk tsk tsk...I expected more..." said Nate as he raised his gun and fired. Its head flew off and hit the ground. Blood began to shoot out of its neck as it collapsed. "Hmmm...that was...disturbing." said Nate as he picked up his ammo, and continued to walk.
He soon arrived at the police station. "Holy shit...what the fuck happened here?" he thought out loud. Corpses and blood were all over the ground. There were a lot more bodies here than anywhere else. Perhaps people tried to stop the zombies. He stepped on something metalic. He looked down and saw the ground was littered with machine guns and assualt rifles. "Looks like I hit the jackpot." he said as he collected the guns and put them in a Hummer. He got in and began to drive towards the Walmart. he had seen people heading in that direction before going to the docks, maybe others were there.

Jager,Ricky and Uly heard the explosion from far away.Climbing onto the roof, they saw smoke rising from the docks.Around them, the zombies still went in a circle around the Walmart.Piled on the roof were all types of guns, many civilian grade, a few military grade. As well as plenty of weapons.Obviously, these guys had planned in the long-term.
Jager suspected that the zombies were attracted to the Walmart because of their presence there. They had announced it in the presence of their armoured van.It allowed them to distract her,for she would soon unleash her greater undead upon them, for the average zombie was to dumb for Liliath to waste her still limited resources on them. She would probably harvest corpses from the police station, littered with the corpses of soldiers and police,to create an "elite" core of fighters,as well as use possessed humans as soon as her range of control grew great enough or had new nodes seeded to extend her control and strengthen it.Of course,he would tell these civilians only if they needed to know.
That tended to explain the increasing number of zombies around Walmart. She was probably planning for an all-out assault,to erase the credible threat they presented quickly and efficiently.Which would explain the zombies with chainsaws and other tools starting to appear within the mass of undead. From what satellite surveillance they had gotten from hacking into the commercial image satellite network overhead in orbit, seen in infra-red,the concentration was increasing in their general district, while numbers remained the same in the outer precints of the town.Liliath didn't want to make the movements too obvious so she was diverting manpower to both areas to deal with them and put up an image of a mindless controlling intelligence guiding the zombies on basic drive. She was basically reviving zombies, sending them on their way and giving them basic orders to prowl around and destroy all life whatever way they chose. For her elites, they more intelligent, they would group together to take out the nearest thing to a threat, the military forces within the town with their numbers and the Ilhami force, which actually knew what was going on and knew how to deal with it.At most, all the other troops present were a hindrance that her bodyguards would deal with in time.
Loading up on as many weapons as he could carry with his power armour, wihch was a lot,he,Ricky and Uly took what they could from the Walmart and placed it in their truck. They would be using a lot of ammunition and if they could take it all, they would. They would rather be mobile and deadly then stuck in a static defensive position such as this.
Using his binoculars,Uly was scanning the streets leading to the Walmart when he looked down one particular street to see 4 people holed up in an abandones shop.A woman and 3 men.Jager would ask them if they wanted to come along when they retreived them later.
Downstairs,Jager found Alex munching on some sweets. He told him of his offer, how he could come along and neutralise the problem at its source, all without revealing the true cause of it all.
"I'll only tell you once. You can trust me or you can die. Those zombies will eventually attack this place, and when they do,we will not be here.We can solve this problem if you come with us and rescue some survivors as well. How long do you think this place will hold man?You have a higher chance of living by sticking with us and rescuing others.Safety in numbers and firepower.I'll tell you this and you listen good. Those zombies are slowly learning. There are already those using chainsaws and crowbars as weapons.I have no doubt that soon they will be using welders or other toolds to crack this 'fortress' of ours.Come with us,bring all your ammo, leave the food.We can solve this within 48 hours. We just need your help."

"I dunno about that. We're pretty screwed no matter what we do. I say we stand a better chance up here. If numbers fix the problem, what about the corpses of that army group? There musta been quite a number of them, and they died."
Joe wasn't going anywhere. If the zombies did eventually get up here, they could be dealt with. These soldiers were far too gung-ho and would probably die.
[main node]
Liliath looked on as the corpses of soldiers and police were thrown into the viral pool, her very essence seeping into them, absorbing their knowledge, tailoring them into her puppets. They would look human. They would act human. They would be her toys.Still, she faced a minor hurdle. She,like any sentient human-based lifeform, saw a need for diversity in herself. These were all her creations. And each contained a fatal flaw. They were hers.A great strength and weakness in itself. Her DNA,when merged with the entity whose body she know possessed, known to other as Lilian, whose mind was now dead and soul sent to the afterlife, had resulted in her being as she was.She absorbed memories and gained the capacity for emotion.A capacity to experience emotions in extreme magnitude, far beyond what humans could feel, amplified by her very nature as a networked mind with nodes.Hate of her creators rivaled her admiration of this human entity,Major Ming Quan Jager, former Deathwatch and now Commando.
Extreme logic showed in his thinking.Intelligent.Of diverse genestock. And very attractive in a primitive, animalistic sort of way.Yes,she would convert him to her consort. To sire her children, her heirs who would inherit and pass on her memes and genes. And who would worship her a mother goddess. And he would hate her for it.For he would be special, the father of a race that would devour its own kindred.Well, such was the way of her nature. She would enjoy exchanging genetic material with him,in the traditional human manner.Against his will.Such an act was necessary for her to ascend, and would introduce fresh genes into her pool, augmenting them.Constant adaptation and evolution was required, because if stagnation occured,or overspecialisation within her system,it would lead to an extinction.
Within the pool, strands of viral fluids reanimated the corpses, iron and titanium coating their bones, armouring them as their progenitor,Liliath was armoured.Muscle fibre increased by up to half, engineered to be thicker, more numerous with decreased lactase recovery time.Horns of calcium-based bone coated with a sheath of organic diamond, forged at a molecular level by her virus cells, working slowly on great masses of carbon, ripped through their skin, sticking out over their body.Within, their nervous system filled with the essence of Liliath, the brain stem of the corpses filled with little copies of her mind.Faster, more intelligent, tougher, more agile, more deadly, more powerful than a normal human.Armoured like daemons of nightmare.
Liliath looked on as she felt her little others start to move.,as they transformed. In a very real sense, they were very much like her children,as she put herself into them. They were her,but not her, merely like shards of a greater whole, mere nodes of a greater network.
The zombies she currently used would continue to decay and within weeks, due to constant wear and tear as well as lack of regeneration, they would merely be bones,as the muscle tissue and cartilage decayed away. They would always be useful as terror groups and provide numbers and would be good as a short-term infection form, but she had better solutions planned, being unleashed even as she spoke. Her new and improved zombies would be just as fast and agile as humans, though would need the guidance of monitors she would impart some of her mind into, making them small nodes in themselves of her network mind. She had accelerated the growth
Switching to view herself from their collective perspective, she saw a figure of immense physical attractiveness(in her opinion) sitting on a throne of skulls, with streams of bloods and orange viral fluid, her essence, her original form, trickling from her skin, dripping down in beads, from a high seat.Much like the goddess Kali of Hindu mythology.Very much like Lileath, the Maiden of Fate in modern subculture.Human mythology as a whole was very interesting an appealing. And if anything, she planned to make Jager her Priapus, the roman God of Fertility.Source of genes for her as well as pleasure.
As they clambered out of the pool, born anew to serve their goddess,in the background,Lileath could feel her numerous artificial wombs contracting,as they hung on the wall, serving as biological factories, churning out the new "zombies",now living, with their controlling nodes as well. They would have metal crafted to them as suited their purpose. For now, they would serve to bolster and eventually replace the rotting dead that still stalked the city and which she was now committing toa final push on the Walmart,to carry out her plans. Her nodes would guide any zombies there, overcoming her weakness of overall range. She would grant them independence and they would function well,as independent yet interlinked units.
OOC:Just out of interest, you can find out about all this at http://www.pantheon.org/ about the mythology. Also,in zombie movies, don't you think it is funny that they can still move.I mean, come on people, these are rotting corpses which are decaying even as they eat peopl'es brains. The muscle and cartilage will eventually decay till there is none within the body.which means that no muscle and cartialge,no movement, nothing holding the bones together. The zombies would eventually rot away to skeletons with barely anything holding themselves together.
[Hospital]
Amir looked with glee at the dynamite around him.In large blocks, they were stacked in rows before his eyes. The police who were loaded down with weapons and ammo raided from the abandoned black market weapons shop cradled their pistols, machines guns, rifles and grenade launchers with admiration. So much firepower,so much ammo,so many zombies.Still, worry creased his face. They had come up against an unexpected snag.
Some zombies had begun to wander near the hospital in a large crowd, obviously sent there by Lilath to try and bolster numbers. These zombies had seemed different somehow.Definitely having something with them being gray skinned,at the same level of agility and strength as a normal human. And with them being able to use crowbars, bricks, welders and chainsaws besides their bodies. They were accompanied by armoured types that seemed to direct them with efficiency.Still, these wre few in number compared to the decaying normal zombies that made up their bulk. Now,they were standing silently at the bottom of the ramp to the carpark,as if waiting for some signal.
The police waited for them, their trigger fingers twitching, waiting to unleash hot metal death upon these monsters that had invaded their town.George had sealed himself into the bunker with the children, ensuring their safety, while the women joined the police in facing the host assembled against them, gripping their tasers and pistols.Amir and the police had given them a crash course in firing and reloading their weapons. They would have to do.
[Left ramp]
Amir ran between the ramps, his power armour allowing him to move between the 2 ramps that lead to the carpark. He had split his forces. He had planned to blow at least one ramp,to allow an exit if they ever survived this.Shouldering his Gero battle rifle,he scanned the zombies, noticing those with a red glow in their eyes, and a pool of orange fluid constantly dripping from them.Assembled were over a thousand zombies. He had tried to count but decided not to bother after exceeding 1100.
All the police held the right ramp, led by Captain Luke, while Amir held with left ramp with the women. They would need a leader to show them how to face down with the undead.
[Liliath node #1129]
1129 Liliath looked up the ramp. The other developed organic node was here, awaiting the signal for the simltaneous attack.1129 had overall tactical command while Node #01 Central Extension had strategic oversight. It was an attack on 2 fronts, with expendable elements. The green armoured human male,an agent of their former masters was here to exterminate them. They could not allow this action.Logic dictated that there were a variety of ways to remove this threat, though the one with most success from the different units views was a direct assault and extermination. They would integrate this ones dead body into the network. It would make a strong node.
[Right ramp]
Looking down,a rookie couldn't stand it any longer.Staring at these soulless beasts, not knowing what lay in store,he opened fire with his M16,firing roud after round at the first rank, seeing his bulets bury themselves in dead bodies and bursting through the first rank.Without hesitation, the undead began to move forward, the first ranks composed of normal decaying zombies, while the ranks behind were the tougher, newer kind.
[Main Lobby]
George whirled upon hearing the sound of fist smashing on metal. He looked as dents began to form on the welded lift doors, small panels falling away to reveal a dented frame of thin aluminium. He heard the god forsaken sound of moaning,as from the main corridor leading into the hospital's depths, knocks could be heard, bone scaping against reinforced steel. He picked up his shotgun, beside which were over 300 shells.Mashing down some buttons,he detonated the explosives that Amir had set in the lift shaft.Amir had climbed through the ventilation system, avoiding zombie infested wards, killing any that he found and generally sealing up all the paths to the lobby via the vent system. He had taken an automated maintenance lift to the roof where he had set explosived in the pulley systems that drove the lift.
As the explosives detonates, the 2 tons steel lifts fell down the shafts, along with the entire pulley system.Accelerated by gravity, the fell into the carpet of zombies within the shafts, their momentum causing them to fall to the very basement.Further explosives set in the shaft and lobby level also detonated, causing the lift shaft and supporting structure to crumble.Slabs of concrete and steel girders, detached from the endostructure of the building and plummeted 4 stories along with the lift to block the shafts, crushing the zombies under their combined weight.
Meanwhile,in the vents, the motion detectors were set off, causing the hidden jury rigged mines to explode, incinerating the possessed humans that were flooding through the vent system, having breached whatever makeshift barriers Amir had welded. They caused the ceiling to collapse, again sealing it off with rubble. What few zombies that managed to come out of it,alive and mangled, fell to the point blank shotgun blasts of George.
Just as George stood back from the dust risng from where rubble now sealed these possible entrances,he heard a clanging on the steel door, and then a booming as something incredibly strong and heavy began to ram away at the steel door.Fear began to rise in him as he readied his shotgun, standing before the trapdoor that led to the children. He would hold the line.
[Left ramp]
The zombies advanced up the ramp, their shuffling feet picking up pace as projectiles flew over them, bricks and other assorted debris, even a molotoc cocktail. The women, lying on the ground, proceeded to open fire, simply remembering what they had learnt barely 2 hours before.Aim,fire,readdress,aim,fire,readdress.A simple cycle.with reloading after every clip was depleted.Beside them.Amir added his fore to them, picking out the seemingly stronger zombies, snapping of shots at them, throwing grenades. So far,all was going to plan.
As they began to reach the halfway mark on the ramp,Amir pressed his button. The 2 final packs of explosive detonated, throwing up rubble, dust and body parts. As the smoke cleared and the women coughed, the ramp was shown to be totally destroyed, twisted steel impaling the bodies of fallen zombies, twitching in the sunset. The improved zombies could only look up at the humans, their face expressionless.Turning,Amir raced to the other ramp, dispatching the women back to the main lobby.Their task was done. Now the men would hold the line.
[Right ramp]
The zombies had passed 3 quarters up the ramp and were slowly, ever so slowly gaining ground.Screaming, the police threw grenades, while Luke fired a whole clip from his M16 into one of the armoured zombies,a node zombie. The shots simply didn't penetrate his skin.Whipping out his pistol,Luke pressed it into the eye socket of the zombie and fired, his bullet ricocheting inside its skull, scrambling brains and spraying out blood in a fountain.
A police officer screamed as a zombie grasped him by the throat. He struggled, beating at it with his hammer,to no avail.Out of the blue, another policemen came to the rescue,a sledgehammer swinging in an arc that connected with the zombie head.Smith,a bear of a man,had taken to using a sledgehammer to beat back the zombies when they came too close.A former sumo wrestler,he was the sargeant. At 2.2 metres in height,as tall as Amir,he was twice as heavy at 210 kilograms.A tower of muscle, bone and fat,he swung it into the rotting faces of them, even hammering one of the nodes.
Into this melee ran Amir, both his chainswords whirring as he twirled them before chpping away at the undead, the chainswords ripping through armoured flesh as blows clattered off his armour.Smashing and slamming them with kicks,Amir and Smith pushed them back together, their considerable skill with either one winning the day as they repulsed the zombies, before retreating under a barrage of bricks and other projectiles.Pumping round after round from the top of the ramp,Captain Luke and his men continued their attack, inspired by the action of Smith and Amir.

Alex looked at Jager.
"Yeah, got a point. Hold on." He ran upstairs and looked through his binoclours. In the marinea he spotted the Sea Serpent. "See that boat? My grandfather willed it to me. We might be able to bug out in it." Alex took another look and saw somthing that surprised him. Several zombies began to hack and beat away at the Serpent's fiberglass hull. The ship finally went down. "Hope insurance pays." He turned to Jager. "Hell, I aint military. But them sh*ts just destoryed my boat. Just where are we going to go anyway? I mean why not call in an airstrike and NAP or drop a MOAB on the whole damn town? Kill 'em all?" Alex picked up several cloth magazine pouches for the M16 and slung them around himself, he pickup a shot gun and several belts of ammo. It was at that moment he noticed the rope ladder was being tugged. He had forgotten to take it back up when he let in Joe. "Hell." When he looked he spotted a line of zombies clumsly climbing it. "LIKE HELL YOU DO!" He took a knife and cut the ladder. Alex turned to Jager as he picked up more M16 mags and shotgun slugs. "Lets get the f*** out of here!"

The Jukebox Hero stood near the Walmart and watched as a rope ladder was cut off the side of the building as a few zombies tried to climb up.
"Hmm, I wonder who's up there," pondered the Jukebox Hero as he strode forward toward the Walmart. As he neared it, he unsheathed a bright silver sword and hacked through the zombies that had been attempting to climb up the rope. Limbs and heads flew through the air, followed by streaming trails of putrid, odd-smelling blood. Surprisingly, the Jukebox Hero didn't get any blood on him.
"Well, I suppose I should pay the roof-dwellers a visit," said the Jukebox Hero as he sheathed his sword inside his trenchcoat and withdrew two large knives. The Jukebox Hero rammed one knife into the wall, and then the other, repeating the process until he began to scale the wall of the Walmart with considerable speed for such a cumbersome method of climbing.
In about a minute he was on the roof where he noticed two people facing away from him towards the docks. One looked familiar.
"What is so fascinating?" inquired the Jukebox Hero.

Ted was running around in the Walmart trying to find a way to get to the roof. He saw a bunch of propayne tanks sitting against the wall. He took out his pistol and shot one. A giant explosion took out a large piece of the wall. Zombies went flying every where. Ted saw a power line with a cable running to the Walmart's roof. Ted ran outside. He started running towards the pole to climb up to the wires then get over to the roof some how. He looked up and wondered if the power was still on. He fired three shots into the box at the top. Another explosion went off.
"Well that fixes it." Ted mumbled to himself.
Ted grabbed one of the little foot supports, wrapped his legs around the pole and pulled himself up. Zombies were walking towards him. He thought it would take them about four minutes to reach the pole, and by then he would be on the Walmart's roof. He climbed up, he was doing fine, except for the fact he was missing one arm and it made it difficult to go faster.
Ted screamed as something bit into his back. He turned his head and saw that a small piece of wood was protruding out of his back. The zombies were throwing what ever they could find at Ted. A shoe hit Ted in the back of his head. When he reached the top he took one of the shotguns on his back put it under the shoulder of his former left arm and jumped to the cable going to the Walmart. The wire ripped out of the side connecting to the pole and he swung across. He was pretty relived until he hit the wall and cut the side of his face.
The shotgun fell out of his grip. He barely caught it with his feet. He pulled himself up the wire, while getting cuts and bruises for scraping himself against the wall. He got to the top of the wall and started to climb over when some more stinging thing cut into his back.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA! You stupid sons of bitches!" Ted screamed at them throwing himself over the edge, dropping his shotgun, grabbing another and started shooting at them. It was pretty hard to use the shotgun because of the recoil and pumping it. So once he was out of ammo he threw the gun down at the zombies.
He reached behind his back, got a hold of the piece of wood and yanked it out. He found what eles had tore into his back. Two blades. He grabbed the first one, despite of it digging into his hand when he grabbed it. He threw it to the ground. He couldn't reach the second one, so he took the second to last of his shotguns. He grabbed it by the barrel and started poking the blade. Finally he hit the blade as hard as he could and watched as it tore a huge hunk of skin as it flew from his back.
Ted fell straight down. He started to crawl to the people on the roof. The gravel of the roof cutting his torso and arms and his legs.
"Help! Help me!" he started shouting at them and he collapsed.
Jager turned to see a strange person dressed in black climbing up the wall, using daggers to propel himself up the wall.He was coated in zombies ichor, along with orangish strands of viral fluid, seemingly having hacked apart a controller zombie.Just as suddenly,a man with blood covering him fell onto the roof, pleading for help before collapsing unconscious.Rushing to the injured man,Jager took a stim pack from his belt and rammed it into the mans thigh,to prevent shock.Meanwhile,Ricky and Uly were helping Alex to cart as much weaponry into the van as fast as possible. They were going to break out of here before all of them were besieged. The zombies were beginning to use crowbars to hammer the steel shutters and Jager suspected that some would have welders soon and breach the steel shutters.Draping the man over his shoulders, his enhanced body and power armour making light work of it,he turned to see the pale faced man dressed like some 1980's goth in front of him.
"My name's Jager.Tell me your name and if you are quick enough, get in the van.We are getting out of this place.Take any weapons you want from the pile over there before we cart it all into the van.Take as much as possible. Here, take a chainsaw, you seem pretty handy with that sword but a chainsaw is more suitable for the task at hand. And don't let these buggers bite you,or we'll have to kill you."
Out of the corner of his eye,Ricky saw a massive zombie coated in viral fluid, blood and with spikes all over its body, with thick slabs of muscle and sinew stretching and changing shape.Probably one of Liliath's bodyguards,he thought.Around it he saw possessed humans and the enhanced zombies, not the rotting ones currently attacking the place.Things were getting hot.Already,Uly had warmed the engine.
[hospital]
Amir and Smith had beaten back the horde, only to retreat as the node zombies came after them,as fast and strong as a normal human, swarming them and using croawbars and pickaxes as weapons.A pickaxr and slammed into Amir's visor, damaging it.It still worked, and he kept it on,blood leaking from a deep gash to his forhead. He was the only one holding the ramp against the horde now,his dual chainswords smoking with blood and viral fluid.Ropes of unnamed liquids coated his green power armour, dripping in strands, drooling from his armour.
He had held the line before hearing the explosions from the lobby. All the police were now helping to brace the door that protected the lobby.Ducking fast,he parried a blow from a cyberzombie, its chainsaw hand barely missing him before he thust his chainsword into its chest, bursting out the other side.Blood dripped into his left eye, blinding him even as he smote them with blow after blow. His left chainsword suddenly cracked as it intersected with the arm of a controlling zombie, its bone nearly as hard as diamond. The chainsword blade shattered. He dropped it,before unsheathing his kukri and cutting his way through.Slowly,he was losing ground.

"Holy shit..." said Nate when he arrived at the Walmart. There seemed to be hundreds of zombies surrounding the place and from what Nate heared, he could only assume that some serious shit was happening on the roof. He had to help the people on the roof...he had to. Nate saw some bottles of colone on the ground...he had a lighter...and some cloth. Nate had seen on TV once, how to make a molotov. He quickly tore off parts of his shirt and put them in the bottles. He Lit the cloth and threw the bottles.
They landed in the middle of the group of zombies. At first he only had a few, but since they were all packed together, many more caught fire. Nate continued to throw them. When he had only one bottle left, he remebered how he had one time melted legos, using colone and a lighter as a flamethrower.
He knew that he had to be carefull, so he slowly walked up to some zombies. Within seconds, they were running around melting. Now, many of the creatures had noticed Nate. He realized this and ran to his bag andd pulled out a gun. He shot the things while he ran for the Walmart entrance. He ran to the doors and tried to open them. They were locked. "Of course they are locked! If they weren't, then all the zombies would be inside." he thought to himself.
The creatures began to circle around him and close in on him. Nate realized he was trapped. "ANYONE UP THERE? IF SO! I NEED SOME HELP!" he yelled as he tried to give himself only a few more seconds of life. He looked at the ground and his heart sank. The ladder had been cut. "Oh fuck no..." he said to himself. He cried for help again. "I NEED SOME FUCKING HELP RIGHT NOW! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" he cried.
Another ladder came down. Nate began to climb. He looked down and saw that the zombies were no longer after him. They began to eat their wounded. "Gross..." Nate said to himself as he climbed. Nate knew he was in hell, but now, maybe, just maybe, he was a bit closer to heaven.

OOC: Alright, time to try out my skills. This post assumes everyone is congregating at walmart.
Brandon revved his engine as he pulled out of the woods and onto the roads. The houses around looked weird, unlived in. He drove a litttle further down the road, seeing abandoned cars, and another Hummer like his. Trying to think logically, Brandon turned down the road to Walmart, hoping he'd find ANYBODY there. After driving for 10 minutes, he came to a stop in front of the huge store parking lot. Sure enough, there was a crowd. But, they weren't going in. They were crouched on the ground, doing something he couldn't see. As much as he wanted to, Brandon decided against calling out to the people. Something wasn't right about them.
Weird, Brandon thought. His gaze lifted, just in tim to see a rope ladder being pulled over the edge of the roof. Weirder.
OOC: Brandon has no gun with him, or any type of weapon. Can any of you guys up on the roof help him??

Nate was almost half way up when he turned around and saw someone standing alone in the middle of the parking lot. Even from this distance, Nate could tell he wasn't one of them. Nate rushed up the ladder and finally saw what was happening on the roof. "Shit!" he yelled as a new zombie swiped at his head. Nate ducked and rolled under it, firing at the same time. The blast shot the thing up in the air and it landed with a thud. Nate walked over to it. Strange spikes covered its body. Nate ran over to the ladder and grabbed it.
It was then that Nate felt a sudden stabbing pain in his side. He turned around and saw the creature was up, and it had just punched him. Several of the spike had gone through the skin. The thing charged towards Nate. Nate jumped out of the way and watched as it hit the ledge and fell over the edge. There was a satisfying splatter down below.
Nate grabbed the ladder and limped to a side of the building, where there were no zombies. He tied the ladder to a poll and began to climb down. He looked over and saw that several zombies had noticed the man in the parking lot and began to run towards him. Nate pulled out his pistol and began to fire. He hoped that the sound would draw them to him. It worked.
Nate prepared his shotgun and ran towards the creatures. He let out a war cry and began shooting. Two were taken down instantly, while onewas hit in the chest. He fired again, blowing its head off. He saw his bag lying on the ground and grabbed it. He then limped over to the man.
"Dude, you need to learn that these things want to kill you. If you see one, shoot its head." he sadi to the man who appeared stunned. Nate tossed him the bag. "There are two pistols and a shotgun in there. Use them. You may also want to follow me." he said.

(Really active for having a bleeding stump.)
Jager threw the unconscious man into the back of the van,now loaded with so many weapons that there was barely enough space.Ricky had gunned the engine and Uly was riding shotgun, resting the minigun on the roof of the van. They had to get out of there, now.
As he looked,Jager heard the thumping and clanging on the steel shutters becoming louder. And then he saw an orange spot on the steel shutter, emanating heat.Looking out an open window barred with steel grilles,he was a possessed human working a welder, slowly melting away the shutter.
"OK EVERYBODY IN THE WALMART.NOW IS A VERY GOOD TIME TO LEAVE.HURRY THE HELL UP.GRAB WEAPONS AND FOOD,ANY STIMULANTS AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!NOW!MOVE IT!GET IN THE VAN!"
Sprinting up the roof,he turned to see 2 men in the carpark, having a respite from the fight. One was bleeding profusely from his leg, while the other was holding a gun.At that moment, the fact that he saw 2 node zombies in the carpark began to alarm him.And a third, which seemed to be rapidly regenerating its wounds.Armoured with spikes sticking out of them, they were ferocious and main nodes serving Liliath. He knew it.She had evolved to overcome her still short transmission radius.
He saw a horde of enhanced zombies turn their attention to the 2 men in the carpark. These were Liliath's newest creations, armoured with plates of aluminium and steel scavenged to form an enclosing suit of armour. With chainsaws on both hands. As well as an additional node zombie, the 4th,directing them. The men were encircled.
Under his breath,he cursed."Idiots!"He leapt off the roof, landing on the ground and rolling to break his fall before sprinting to drag the 2 men out of there. In his olive green power armour, enclosing his enhanced body, muscles contracted and stretched, adrenal gland implants increasing his relflexes,as his superconductive nervous system transmitted signals throughout his body, increasing his reflexes. He was a former Deathwatch, having their genetic implants as well.
He intercepted the group, chainsaws deflecting of his armour, skidding off.He aimed straight for the node zombie. He puched it,his hand coliding with its bulk. The node zombie was obviously composed of more than mere flesh.Sinew, muscle and metal melded together with Liliath's essences to create a toughened creature. It knew its orders.Do not harm the future consort of Liliath, the one called Jager.
The zombies momentarily milled around in confusion,Jager in their midst as he delivered a full slamming kick to the controller zombies head, his boots breaking some of the spikes off before he sent it reeling away.Mysteriously, the zombie and the group retreated.Jager turned to the 2 men, uneasy. Why had they not fought him like brainless zombies?Something mysterious was going on.
"Hey,you two.Get yourselves out of here and into the Walmart.I'll cover you".The 2 men looked at Jager as realisation dawned of on them of their actions. Here they were,in the middle of the carpark, delaying, exposing themselves to danger.
Meanwhile,Ricky held both his M16's pointed at the shutter. The zombies had managed to cut their way through the shutter in the loading dock and were slowly coming into the dock through a man-sized breach.Around it,it was beginning to dent under a constant fullisade of blows from 2 bodyguard zombies of Liliath, massive armoured behemoths 4 metres tall with the strength tp lift over a ton in one arm.Even the thick steel could not resist their constant pummeling. They seemed very eager to get into the Walmart. As they appeared through the gap,Ricky cut loose from the vans driver seat, through the steel bars of the windscreen.
It was at this moment that another gap finally appeared in the shutter. And a bodyguard zombie appeared through the gap, claws hands ripping open the steel like tin.Red eyes peered out from a nightmarish visage, maw filled with teeth honed to a monoatomic point, sharper than even a monomolecular point. It looked at the van and charged. It was of the bodyguard of Liliath,it goddess, gifted with speed, intelligence, toughness and various other abilities.
At this moment,Uly opened fire from the skylight, the minigun clutched in his armoured gloves.Bullets of depleted uranium flew through the air, piercing the bodyguard and cutting it to pieces.Despite its armour, nothing of Liliath's creations had the ability to withstand depleted uarnium armour piercing bullets.....yet.They punched through its body and flew through it into the horde behind, ripping them apart,as well as making Swiss cheese of the steel shutters behind it.Numerous bullet holes in the steel formed, from which blood seeped.
The hulking behemoth bodyguard collapsed in a heap on the floor, slowly regenerating.Uly left it for dead, but in a few minutes it would rise anew.
[main node,Liliath]
Liliath looked through the eyes of her minions. Those at the hospital were persistent. She would give them that. They had withstood her siege until now,but slowly they were giving. At the Walmart, her chosen consort would be captured and brought to her.Jager it would be to sire the children of her flesh. With or without his willing consent. The rest would be killed.

Brandon held up the man with his shoulder and carried him to his Hummer.
"Get in," he said as he nearly tossed the wounded man in the seat. He looked back to see a man in green armor fighting off the mob, apparently winning. Brandon analyzed the situation for a moment, then stamped on the accelerator. He turned toward the crowd and began to plow through layers and layers of zombies. As he arrived at the center of the mob, he noted that even though the man was smashing them to bits, the zombies made no moves toward him. He ran over one more zombie and stopped at the mans side. Leaning out the window, he said.
"Need a ride?"
Nate looked at his leg. Two spikes had gone through the skin, but nothing else. He thanked god. He looked up and saw that the hummer was stopped. The driver was asking the man who had saved them if he wanted a ride. Nate saw something behind the man.
"GET DOWN!" he yelled as another "super" zombie tried to grab the man. He quickly moved and Nate had to put 5 shells into the thing before it even fell backwards. The man got up looking puzzled. The thing got up again and tried to grab the man, but this time he was ready. He kicked the things face, causing its skull to be crushed. "Whoah..." said Nate as he viewed this. "Yeah, I really think you may want a ride!"

Alex darted through the WalMart checking for anything he migh of left. He grabbed a bookbag and went back to the roof and loaded as many mags and shell as it could hold. He ran to the van but hit a slight snag. Several zombies began to enter from a window. Alex emtied a M16 mag into them and killed several more trying to enter.
He jumped into the van and pointed the assault rifle out a slot and aimed at a door which was being slowl broken open.
Jager took up the offer on the spot.It was at this moment that another of the nodes appeared, intent on capturing him.Of course,Jager didn't know this.He launched a spinning back kick that shattered its backbone before jumping into the car, taking a rifle and proceeding to fire out the window.
"Drive to the loading dock and drop me off there. Then try and link up with the other people down that street. We saw a group of people sheltering in an abandoned shop. Some police.Rescue them and try to go to the hospital.I am sure an associate of mine could use some help. Now go!"
[loading bay]
Uly,Ricky and Alex were now hosing the area with bullets, the hollowpoints ricocheting off some of the controller zombies and the armoured ones.Out of the blue,Uly droped the minigun and picked up the melta gun. It's proper term was fusion gun. What it did was to superheat a petrol-pyrum mix at a sub-molecular level and inject it into a chamber before being released at high speeds. The resulting shockwave of gas, while short-range,affected an area of 30 metres in a wide cone before dissipating. It reduced all organic materials to dust and melted or scorched tougher materials. At point blank range, the temperature was enough to scorch a block of neutronite tungsten(tungsten compressed at an atomic level to be superdense).
Uly fired the melta gun.All that was heard a hiss and then a roar of pain as the boodyguard zombie was reduced to a melted pile of flesh, leaving only its scorched metal skeleton in a puddle of charred and liquid organic material. It disintegrated the other zombies as well, into piles of dust, while causing the doors that led to the loading bay to melt, becoming softer as the steel ran down in drops.A great cloud of dust swirled in the aftermath of the blast from the melta gun.Uly put it down.He estimated that they had a few minutes of relief for now.Ricky was still taking potshots using his battle rifle, while Alex unloaded round after round from the van.The zombies would be back,to reevaluate their tactics. At least,he hoped they would.
[Node Controller #67]
It reassessed the situation, running through options in its mind.Should it request the androids to be released?
Fact:Enemy possessed superior firepower
Fact:Own forces numerically superior
Fact:Excepting Ilhami troops, close combat and melee abilities were superior
Fact:Greater momentum able to be maintained by forces
Running through options,it decided to withdraw.A vehicle containing the target to capture at all costs was nearing the docking bay. They would divert all attention to it but would continue assault on the van,to bluff them.Flanking actions would be used.Expendable forces would form front ranks.Possessed humans with pistols would be used.Warrior cyberzombies derived from police and military corpses would be used.
[Hospital]
Amir was thrown back by the explosion of all the explosives still on his bike.He had driven it at full speed into the oncoming horde, basically blowing the ramp, the last exit or entrance from the hotel, unless you counted jumping 4 storeys down from the carpark to be an exit path, though a very permanent one.Amir felt that death tended to be unconducive to healthy living.
Finishing the task at hand,he got up,noticing the deep rut in the concrete that had been made by hs being thrown back.He turned toward the lobby, feeling his muscles straining and the servos within his armour whirring. He had finally lost his helmet, its electronics shattered and its armour rendered ineffective. It had been shattered by the point blank shotgun blast of a possessed human. He had used the damaged helmet to batter it to death It had been incinerated in the explosion, along with his bike, his only form of fast transport.
Within the lobby,George fired through the gaps in the steel door, while the police used tasers and batons to beat back the prying arms of the undead zombies. The megazombie who had been smashing in had suddenly stopped, for no apparent reason.Abruptly, they heard screams coming from the control centre.Screams of terror, pain and horror.George hobbled over to the door, throwing his shotgun and the belt of ammo as well as the satchel containing the 200 or so shells left to Amir, who proceeded to pump a zombie full of rounds.Meanwhile,Smith was using his sledgehammer to pulp the zombies as they crawled out through small gaps in the steel, torn by the megazombie earlier.
George opened the door, followed by Captain Luke with his Magnum revolver, the last 6 rounds left in its chamber. The copper smell of blood floated up to greet them,as well as the remains of the women and babies, gore splattered all over the staircase,a womans dismembered hand attached to the door handle at the bottom of the staircase, preparing to open it.Feasting on the corpses, sitting atop the remains as blood oozed out and spilled onto the floor, sat the megazombie, slowly swallowing the flesh of an infant, the hand sticking out.As George reeled back,Luke opened fire.
Nate began to clean his wound, while the armoured one sat in the back looking ahead. Nate looked over at the driver. He was concentrating on crushing some zombies. The teen looked back at the armoured one. "Hey, thanks for saving us." Nate said. "By the way, I'm Nate."
The armoured one continued to look past him. He looked concerned, yet he seemed to know what was going on. Even though he had saved his life, Nate didn't truely trust the man. Something began to nag him. Perhaps this man knew the cause of this. Perhaps HE was the cause of it all.
"Who the hell are you?" said Nate. "why the fuck are you here? And what do you know that the rest of us don't?"

Jager kept looking ahead through his reflective faceplate, the visor shielding his face from view.He ignored the man who was shouting at him, allowing an uncomfortable silence to settle in before replying.
"I am the Major.Simple as that. This situation you have here is neither magical in nature and is artificial. It is a man-made situation. That is all you need to know. Now,drop me off at the loading dock and get out of here. What you do from there is your choice.Just know that we are trying to defend your nation of Itranto from a fate that will require a nuclear solution if allowed to proceed."
He continued to look ahead, grabbing an M16 from the backseat of the Hummer where he sat.He checked the magazine before slamming it home and taking 6 extra 30-round clips for it.He would have much preferred a SAR 21.He should have brought one along from the van.As the Hummer raced toward the loading dock, his pulse quickened upon seeing the many zombies and undead as well as Liliath's creations assembled there.
[Amir]
Amir was reloading the SPAS-12 shotgun with slugs when he heard the gunfire from the control centre and George stumbling up,his eyes glazed.
Geroge:There is....no,no,no,no,no....[degenerates into gibberish, finally cracking under the stress]
George curled himself into a ball, rocking himself even in the chaos,as the policeman finally gave up on bracing the steel door.It would hold for perhaps 5 minutes more.
In the control centre,Luke discharged the last bullet from his Magnum revolver, the bullets blasting great gouges in the zombies skin.It turned to him, before lunging at him.Luke screamed as the zombie rammed him.Its collision with him broke his neck and back at the same time, killing him instantly. This was the controller zombie,Liliath's first node, the first child of her thought.Fused from the altered flesh within the morgue, after initially being infected by the rogue Ilhami agent, this was her counterpart vassal, whom she named Kali, after the Hindu goddess of devouring and destruction.Of course, nobody but her knew this. Not that it mattered.
[Central node]
Liliath felt the showdown between Kali and the Ilhami agent come to fruition.Soon,Kali would have its new host body and abandon the rotten, stinking form of its current body. She was glad.
[hospital]
In a roar,Kali leapt up,smahing through the hardened concrete. She had dug her way into the control centre and increased her mass, devouring all the corpses of women and the infants,a good source of stem cells and fresh genetic material to add to her.In a sense, she was what she ate,for she contained the genetics of unnumbered peoples now.
The police looked on as the megazombie, vaguely resembling a female form, charged into their midst. They were batted aside, their bodies dismembered, even Smith thrown aside, slammed his skull against the wall and dying instantly, his spirit departing his body.He dropped the sledgehammer, and it rolled, settling to the floor in front of Amir, his armour bloody and dripping with foul fluids, its original green now covered by a coating of orangish viral fluid, clotted blood and other foul contaminants. He picked up the sledgehammer, knowing he could do nothing for the police or the survivors now,not that there were any.
Even as Kali charged, she was blinded by the thrust of a policeman, his final act rendering her blind, his taser smashing her eyeballs to jelly. For her,it did not matter. She would simply use her smell, and the pressure of air around her as well as her hearing and taste to detect the Ilhami fool.
Finally, after 4 hours of constant battering, the door gave in,falling in to reveal the greatly lessened zombie host, devouring their own dead to recycle them for further production. They had lost so many of their number, and now "possessed" humans numbered the greatest, while the expendalbe undead were only in the tens, their shambling corpses falling apart, having used themselves as battering rams. The humans stampeded over them, all in disarray after finally achieving their goal. They surrounded Kali and Amir in a circle, their silent orange eyes peering out at their master and the combatant, whom they could sense as one of their own,at least on the surface. For Amir's armour was coated so thoroughly with viral strand that through their sense of smell,he smelt similar to one of their own, though there was the underlying scent of pure human within him.confusing them.Still, they stood in a circle, watching the two engage in a stareoff.
ooc:
okay...I said this earlier but you may have not read it Ilham. The RP takes place in Ohio in a town near Lake Erie. You of course can still have everything the same, its just that it takes place in the United States. Cool storyline also.

Nate shrugged and sat in his seat. "Sorry about that. I've just seen a lot of people get killed..." he stopped to think about his friend. Nate frowned. He looked out the window and saw that there were a lot more creatures here, than anywhere else Nate had been. He began to grow uneasy. "Do you have friends here?" asked Nate. "Because if so...they could use a lot of help."

Out of context: Sorry for not posting - I hope you guys don't kick me out. Also, I assume the main body of people is in a van of some sort. Let's see if I can work my way back into the story...
In context:
The Jukebox Hero stood on top of a vehicle moving at a good speed towards God knew where. The only reason he did not fall of was because he had trained himself extensively for years to increase his balance to an almost superhuman level. For some reason he was extremely clumsy, though...
The Jukebox Hero began stamping his foot on the roof of the vehicle, yelling to its occupants, "OPEN THE DOOR."
When this effected no response, he swung down to the passenger side of the vehicle and opened the door.
"Hello there. Might I trouble you for a ride?"
Out of context: A little uncanny, I know, but I had no other way...

OOC:this happened a little bit before
Mike was a product of feelings from the cold war, horror movies, and MREs mixed with beer. He heard strange things were happening in the city over the radio, he decided to go see what was going on outside of his under ground bunker. When he popped out near the highway he noticed two alarming things, one a group of half-rotten people eating a body on the ground and gun firein the distance. He immediatly dropped back down to get weapons fearing the soviet union had reformed and was invading, in the closet he found the weapon he wanted, the M249 Light Machine Gun with the 200 round box magazinehe climbed back out and almost fell down in the tunnel because the zombies were only a few feet away. with out pause he let loose and turned them into meat chunks. After this he sealed the hole up to prevent infestation.
OOC:this happening now
He was down there and heard the military come awhile ago when the cops were calling for help on the radio, he didn't answer in fear that the communists were traking the messages. He decided to gather up and all rounded arsenal. His SAW with 600 rounds, and the Degtyarev Anti-Tank riflewith about a 100 rounds and a little C-4. Of course all this gear was heavy and it took awhile to climb out. When he got out he noticed there weren't bodies were there had been bodies. If bodies had been moved there must be people, so people would head to an armed organization aka the police station he headed tworards the general direction and still no bodies or the zombies. when he was about to step out into a street he heard a vehicle. Slowly he stepped out his SAW raised unsure if these were commies or friendlies.

Nate thought he heard something on the roof. That was odd since he hadn't seen any zombie get on. It was then that a man dressed in black opened the door next to Nate. ""SHIT!" yelled Nate as he lifted his gun. He soon saw he was human.
"May I trouble you for a ride?" asked the dark man.
"Sure! Get in!" said Nate moving over so he could climb in. As the man climbed inside, Nate inspected him, to see if he was bitten. So far everyone inside the van was okay. "So, who are you?" asked Nate.

Mike saw some crazy person swing down into the hummer and he was pretty sure the zombies lacked the dexterity to swing in a car so he tried to flag the hummer down..
OOC:ok what the hell is happening?Isn't the hummer still at Walmaert? The guys are sieged in the loading dock and the Major is going to bust them out basically. So just whats happened. Is the Hummer near Walmart or still at Walmart?

OCC: I have absolutley no idea, it was decided to be a hummer I guess.
ooc:
alright...
I am in the hummer
Ilham is in the hummer
the guy driving is in the hummer
Jukebox Hero is now in the hummer and we are arriving at the loading area at the walmart.
so far we have not met horned rat but i'll find a way to get him into it.
that should answer everyones questions.
ooc:
Nate saw a man waving to the hummer. He appeared human. "I see someone back there. Drop me off here and I'll meet you at the loading bay." Nate said.
the hummer stopped and Nate walked out. "It's your funeral..." someone mumbled. Nate looked around. No zombies. That was good news. Nate began to walk to the man. His leg hurt with every step he took, but he didn't care.
When the Nate reached him, the man stuck a gun in his chest. "You American? Or are you a damn Russian?" asked the man.
Nate was of course shocked by this. "Do I look like a fucking Russian?" the man cocked the gun. "Fine, I'm an American citizen trying to save your ass and trying to kill some zombies so that they don't fuckin destroy the world!" yelled Nate. The man lowered the gun.
"Spoken like a true american." he said with a smile. Nate began to wonder if this was a big mistake.

"Where are you heading" mike asked looking in between buildings for any hostiles. The man replied that he was going to the loading docks."Mind if I tag along, You also walk with a limp you injured?"
Jager looked at the strangely dressed man in the Hummer. They were pretty near the loading dock and he had gotten out his monomolecular kukri,as well as the bayonet that was afixed to the end of the M16.In total,he had 300 rounds. In the distance,he heard the 'whump' from the melta gun being fired. That would buy them some breathing space.
"Ok boys, lock and load. The strange guy with that sword, you were pretty nifty with it earlier.Defend the vehicle if you can.Try not to get surrounded, especially by those big motherfuckers who are 4 metres tall over there. Those guys, you let me handle them."The strange man nodded.
Saying so,he swung his armoured bulk out of the Hummer, swinging onto the roof.At 2 metres tall,he was the second largest of the Ilhami group after Amir.Once the van got rolling, they would head to the hospital to retreive Amir.
[central node]
Liliath was breathing more heavily. She felt....orgasmic.Yes,that was the word.Soon, she would have her consort here, and the business of producing a viable trooper and derivative son or daughter from her and his genes would become a reality. She looked forward to this human mating ritual, the exchange of genetic material. For her, chemicals in her body and her nervous system worked together to bring about extreme reactions, more intense emotions that humans could experience.
To say the very least,to prepare herself for fertilisation, she had induced herself into a breeding state and was incredibly horny. At any moment, once her consort was captured, she would rape him.A slight grin played across her face,as she sat on her throne.A reversal of roles.A man being raped by a woman.Or more accurately,a sentient node virus who had taken on a human host body as its main form and sought his genes.
Deciding, she came up with the idea to create an independent, living daughter. For in her system, she was an organism who sought purity of essence. She sought to become a true life form as well as a God,meaning a wish to experience "Death" and Birth.Through her controlled "death",she would rebirth herself through her daughter,by then being truly diverse in genes and memes, evolving to a perfect state that she sought. That was the quickest way,in her estimation.
"Sure, you can come. This here is from one of these wierd "Super" zombies". Nate pointed at his wound. "Do you have any weapons?" asked Nate. He looked at the ground. The man had a ton of them. "DAMN! HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET ALL THIS?"
"I have my sources." said the man.
"Alright, well lets go." said Nate.
There was a loud boom. "What the hell was that? asked the man.
"I don't know, but I think it may be a good sound." The two of them began to run to the constant sound of gunfire and prepared themselves for the worst.

The Jukebox Hero nodded as the armored man jumped out of the Hummer. He removed his tommy gun from his trenchoat, inspected it, polished it a bit, and then climbed out of the vehicle. He stood next to the Hummer, put his sunglasses on, unsheathed his sword, and gave a smirk.
"Let them come."

Out of context: Okay, somebody take over the whole scene-type thing. What I mean by that is someone make the zombies attack or whatever. I'm tired of just sitting and doing nothing. I'd narrate it, but I think I might screw up the storyline or something. Right then...
"I hink that it was from some good guys. You see, most zombies aren't that smart. We also could go back there and use the C4 in case of an emergency."
The zombies look and sense the presence of the one they need. They also sense others. The stronger zombies will attempt to capture Jagger, while the others will dispose the people with him. The zombies realize also that they can't make it to obvious with their intent, so the stronger ones shall also attack those in the van and those with Jagger.

"By the way, what is your name, mine is mike" The man said his name was nate. "so nate is there any type of things I should know about the zombies before we wncounter some"?
Jager leapt off the Hummer into the crater. The Hummer had plowed into a horde of zombies with a controller zombie there, guiding a group of super zombies.Possessed humans with pistols opened fire, shooting off the tires to immobilise them. The armoured van meanwhile, with Ricky at the wheel, was ramming through the group, its flatrunner tires composed of an elastic Kevlar composite.Alex, from his place in the passenger seat, had thrown a whole cluster of fragmentation grenades into the horde, while Uly switched between using the Melta gun and the minigun to repel the zombies and the undead zombies coming in from the back. After several days of walking in the hot sun,the undead zombies had finally disintegrated, their limbs dropping off,for they were now useless,to decayed to be of any use but recycling. Now,it was all the enhanced soldier zombies, the super zombies, controller node zombies, megazombies and bodyguard zombies. As well as possessed humans.
Screaming a warcry,Jager swung his kukri in an arc that sliced a possessed human into half, while firing round after round into a super zombie, before decapitating it.He leapt up,drop kicking another super zombie, while the enhanced soldier zombies, agile and strong as normal humans, leapt on him.His power armour whirring,he roared as he rose up,the berserker rage of his genetic implants slowly starting to take over.
[Node #Xt335]
Imperative:No matter cost, capture the consort.Codename Priapus.Taken alive must be main aim.
Swinging into action, the zombies charged toward the brawl where Jager was.Cyberzombies wielding guns with plastic and rubber bullets headed for the scene, the bodyguard zombies as well. They were to kill all but the consort. He was to be taken alive,no matter the cost.
[Brawl]
Tires screeching, the van drove up to the besieged Hummer, its tires flat and useless.Ricky shouted above the din of the battle."GET IN THE VAN.NOW!".
Back doors flying open to reveal the arsenal of the Ilhami troops, with barely enough space for anybody else,Uly dropped his guns and in his power armour, hauled the people in with brute force, dragging them in while firing with his other hand.Jager had managed to draw them for now,but soon,he doubted that they would. He was being swamped by the zombies, whose grabbing arms tore at him.A possessed human with a welder suddenly attacked him from the back, the welder intersecting with a his faceplate.Jager felt the heat and bit back the pain, before using the rifle to butt the mans head before firing a bullet into his mouth.
Uly saw the Major fighting in the melee, kicking and lashing out, occasionally firing his bullet. He was about to go when over the suit radio,he heard the Major."You IDIOT!GO!GO NOW!KILL LILIATH.I CAN BE REPLACED!TAKE THE CIVILIANS AND GO!This is my order.Do not disgrace me and disobey it."Abruptly, the link was cut off.Uly silently obeyed what he thought was his commander's final order. He turned his eyes to the scene of the melee where the Major rose up,clutching a zombie skull, his armour battered and buckled as he battled a bodyguard zombie, which attempted to grab his arms in vain.Little did Jager or the others know it,but they wanted to capture him intact.Unhurt.
Jager felt the berserk state overtake him.It was his heritage as a former memner of the Deathwatch.Going berserk, his muscle mass increased 25 percent while adrenal glands suffused his body with stimulants. As they piled themselves on him,he let out a roar from his broken helmet, before activating the bombs attached to his armour.Puching upward,he rose up like a god of war,his armour coated with the foul ichor of the zombies. He saw some people trying to run towards him.He knew.Uly would stop them.
Bringing his fists together,he pounded the head of one of the megazombies into pulp, before taking his kukri and stabbing it into a bodygaurd, its armoured hide defelcting the blade.Rising it again,he stabbed its eye, before using the remaining power in his armour to rip out its lower jaw, blood smoking. As he cut them, their limbs remaind attached to him, slowing him."I will never SURRENDER!".Jager screamed as he bared his fangs and bit into the neck of an approaching cyberzombie, before ripping out its throat in a spray of blood and viral fluid.
[Bodyguard Captain]
The consort was resisting. And now,it wanted to exterminate itself? What entity decided to terminate its own life? These were the thoughts that floated through the captain of Liliath's bodyguard, even as its eye regenerated, after being stabbed by Jager.
The mission directive was to preserve the consort unharmed at all costs.Taking this into consideration, the bodyguard captain used its viral utility fog to corrode the electronics of the suit and the metal linkages, dissolving the armour in a viral derivative of picolets, for it alone was gifted as such with the ability, for Liliath in giving it had taxed her powers. However, the bombs would explode too soon.
Taking matters into his own hands, the Bodyguard Captain crouched over the naked Jager,to shelter his body from the blast, the ground littered with the bodies of his fallen captors. His Goddess Liliath was right in choosing this one as a mate, were the captains final thoughts,as the suit bombs exploded in the centre of the horde, incinerating countless zombies in a smal nuclear explosion.By that time, the survivors had gotten away, time bought by what they thought was the final sacrifice of the Major.

"NOOO!!!! Let go of me!! WE'VE GOT TO HELP HIM, CAN'T YOU SEE THAT!!!"
He struggled against the armored grip of Uly, and tried to get at his rifle. Just out of reach. Finally, he stopped.
"You know how many times that guy saved my life? Now we don't help him? How can you live with that?"
The rest of the people in the van were silent. Not a word.
"Now he's dead. Worse, he may be one of them. And you let that happen. You disgust me!"
ooc: actually we were trying to get him to a van that had his companions in it. You of course could use the hummer to transport some of us away.
Nate awoke and found himself in a van with some more people he didn't know. He looked next to him and saw Mike next to him. Nate had a terrible pain in his head. Apparently someone had hit him, and then brought him here. He groaned as he tried to get up.
Another man in armor looked at him and told him to sit down. Nate didn't feel like fighting so he obeyed. "So, you the major's friends?" asked Nate weakly.
"Yeah." replied the man. He looked uncomftorble and somewhat sad.
"Hey, where is the major?" asked Nate.
"Dead..." replied the man.

"Hmm, there goes my ride...Oh well. I grow weary of waiting..."
The Jukebox Hero strode forward at the zombies, gun blazing as he made great arcs in the air with his sword - for show of course.

The Jukebox Hero advanced upon a group of zombies, firing at them with surprising accuracy. Zombie after zombie fell to the ground dead (again), but for every one that was felled, a new one came to take its place. The Jukebox Hero knew that he couldn't kill them all, there were just too many. He sheathed his sword while still firing and began to fumble around in his trenchcoat. His hand came to rest on a grenade.
"Oh, forgot I had this," said the Jukebox Hero as he pulled the pin out with his thumb. He lobbed the grenade at the group of zombies and continued to fire until he ran out of bullets. He looked down quickly and spotted a manhole that was...in the floor for some reason (Out of context: I don't know why it's there...it just is). He put his gun inside his trenchcoat, and pulled out a crowbar.
"Forgot I had this, too," he said as he pulled the cover off the manhole and jumped down, just as the grenade exploded.
The Jukebox Hero found himself in a sewer, which is what one expects to find when one jumps down a manhole.
"I suppose I should find where this leads," he said as he unsheathed his sword and began to walk forward...
Out of context: Anyone have any ideas as to where I should go?

OOC: Looks like we're being left behind by events- i'm tempted to end my invovlement, but not before my character has had a glorious detah and helped the Jukebox Hero. :)
Sally watched as the zombies tore their way into the building she ahd takne shelter in, and her comrades unleashed a wave of lead into them. the first wave of zombies fell, moaning, and got bakc up again. Dozens of them advanced, more and more advancing- they were all the first type of zombie, little more than dumb, shambling corpses. Likely all the advanced ones were being sent against the elite commandoes, but Sally knew none of this.
"We have to retreat!" she cried, as they were pushed back to the stairs and the landing.
"Go without me." said he rfellow officer, who she had saved from the crash and helped get here.
"What? We can both make it." as she spoke, she blew another zombie's head off.
"No. I will distract them. You cna escape to the sewers. Find you way out of here!" he was advancing forwda now, pushing himself into the mass of zombies, blasting them apart with his shotgun and desert eagle respectively.
"No!" she said, knowing the situation hopeless. Men and their glorious last stands. she sighed. killing a few more zombies to help him, she turned and ran down the other flight of stairs, and into the basement, where access to the sewers could be found.
Behind her, the zombies pressed in, but instead of following her, they pushed up into the first floor, where the other survivors she had met waited, levaing the torn and mangled corpse of the brave officer she hadn't even known the name of on the ground.
She wiped back tears, and fled into the dank sewers, wondering if there were more zombies down here.
Nate wasn't shocked at the news of the major's death. In the few minutes Nate knew him, he found out that he would give his life for everyone else. Nate heard a moan near the back of the van. He turned and saw a man with his arm apparently cut off. Nate winced at the thought.
Nate remebered something then. When he was running to help the major, he heard him screaming. It was something about killing a person named Liliath. Nate wondered what he meant by that.
Nate then also remebered when he was stopped. Another person in armor had grabbed him and hit him. He had then fallen to the ground. As he got back up, he saw something quite peculiar. One of the super zombies was forming a ''shield'' of sorts, protecting the major from something it seemed. Why?
Nate began to ponder this question. Maybe he could find out the answer from the man's friends. Nate then asked the man who informed him of the major's death, "Who is Liliath?"

Several appered uphammpered by the 9mm slugs the Gustaf was throwing out. Alex switched to his shotgun and blasted one.

The Jukebox Hero moved forward, deeper into the sewer system, noticing only the disgusting stench that permeated the underground tunnel, and the extreme darkness. His sunglasses only made the problem worse. He reached his hand up to the glasses, but, instead of taking them off, he tapped a tiny button on the side of the pair of glasses. Night vision mode engaged, and when the Jukebox Hero could see, he didn't much like what he saw - hundreds of animated corpses walking straight towards him.
"Fiddlesticks," said the Jukebox Hero as he removed a pistol from his trenchcoat. "I certainly wish I had brought more bullets for my tommy gun..."
The Jukebox Hero stood still, with pistol aimed at the mass of zombies and his sword at his side, and pondered what to do. His train of thought was interrupted by the sound of splashes echoing behind him, getting closer and closer. The Jukebox Hero whirled around and saw a woman approaching (Out of context: That's you, Vexia).

OOC: This guy is from my Federation, and I'll try to keep him from being the hero. He's wearing the Mjolnir armour, and has the typical combat loadout, MA5b and M6D. I assumed Uly and the Major were wearing Space Marine armor.
The ball of flame screamed across the sky, leaving a trail of smoke. It exploded into several pieces, and the figure inside triggered his parachute. It lowered him softly to the ground, in the forest outside of town. His green armour was almost reflective, and the visor blocked anyone from seeing his face. From inside the visor, Scott watched as text scrolled down his HUD.
Mission Objectives:
Study new lifeform
Protect civilians
If necessary, destroy lifeform
Escape
The text disappeared from his visor and a compass ring appeared, with a triangle pointed to his left. He started off, running at a slow jog of 15 kph.
Cakewalk. he thought...
Uly looked at Nate.So he had overheard the conversation.Well,no matter,if they knew the full extent of the threat they faced, they might be more willing to help in terminating the threat of Liliath.Looking at Nate through his faceplate,Uly took in a deep breath.First though,he went to he front to tell Ricky.
Ricky concurred with him. Now,more than ever, they would need the help of these people. They had brought a tactical nuke with them but it required the Major's blood to open the genelock on it.So now, they would have to penetrate right into the central node and handle the soure of the problem.Liliath.Driving through the suburbs of the town, the finally stopped at a clinic,to treat the injuries of their newfound allies. They doubted that Amir was still alive, for in the distance, they had seen the main hospital collapse into rubble.
[main hospital,minutes before]
Amir leapt onto Kali, using his sledgehammer to ram her skull, brining the sledgehammer down in an arc, powered by his enhanced muscles and power armour, his face in a rictus of fury.Standing on her broad shoulders,as he tried to pull the sledgehammer from her brain, she batted him across into the counter where Geroge had been setting his trap.Amir lay sprawled on the floor, his armour coated in orange viral fluid and encrusted with blood and black, foul smelling ichor.
George:Amir, take this shotgun. And this belt. You got 200 rounds.I'll hold them off while you escape through the sewers.
Amir:(looking at the dynamite strapped to Georges body)I understand. You are going to detonate the dynamite you placed throughout the enitire hospital,am I right?I'll go through the sewers. You are a brave man George.I am glad to have fought beside you.
George:Take that laundry shaft down to the maintenance tunnels and use the sewer access. You have 2 minutes.
Throwing the shotgun and ammo belt across his chest,Amir hauled himself into the shaft, sliding to freedom, while George held his ground, the detonator clutched in his trembling hand. The beast would not escape.
As Kali approached, through the rising dust,George charged her.Just as he reached her,he pressed the button.
As Amir waded through the murk of the sewer, kneed deep, his flashlight and kindjal extended ahead of him, shotgun hanging from his hip,he heard the rumble of the collapsing building. He increased his pace,as he heard gunfire from a junction ahead, and the mutilated corpses of zombies, blown apart by gunfire,or hack apart by blades, brushed his legs, floating through the sewers.
[Central node]
Liliath looked at her regenerating bodyguards. The losses she had suffered were inconsequential.Even now,her artificial wombs were churning out zombies, recycling the organic material of the town, tapping the sewers as a source of organic and inorganic compounds. Now,it was time for her to complete the critical process required for her ascension.
She walked down a path to an isolated room.Within, bound to the wall by great strands of bioengineered steel and sinew, struggled her consort, the Major Jager. His genes would prove most useful to her.
She shut the great steel door behind her and walked up to him in the darkness, her naked form illuminated slightly in all its majesty. Her breath condensed in the cold temperatures of the cell. She walked up the the bound major, stroking i sbody, stimulating him, running her hands over his body as she let her toungue slide across his skin.
[the Major]
In his mind, the Major screamed. His mind was revolted by the actions. He did not want to be raped by some damned female bitch. He made what noises he could, struggling against his binds, his mouth locked to Liliath's as she stck her toungue into his mouth, muffling his cries of protest, the cell resounding with Liliath's moans.
His body responded against his will, preparing to deliver gentic material to a willing recipient. As Liliath slowly straddled him, taking her time, the Major sunk into oblivion, the laughs and moans of Liliath, her screams of ecstasy and pleasure echoing through the dark cell, even as the Major fought againstthe inevitable.

Ted's eyes fluttered open. He looked around and saw that he was in a van with lots of weapons. And people! Ted figured they looked human enough so he didn't bother pulling a weapon out.
"Uh...who are you people...just in case you're human my name is Ted, and we- My beanie!" Ted said while sticking his hand in his cargo pocket. Nate heard the man with one arm bablling on and on about how some people were in a bank. "Will you please shut up? If they aren't dead right now, then they are probably safe." yelled Nate after a few minutes of the continuos bable. "We can help them after we save the world!" said Nate annoyed.
Nate then thought about how that one zombie was protecting the major, who he now knew as Jagger. He turned to Uly. "You still haven't answered my question about who or what Liliath is."
Uly looked up at him and began to tell him what the node was. After a few minutes, Uly was done talking. Nate blinked. he had no idea what Uly was talking about. "Is everything making sense now?" asked Uly. Nate just nodded.

Bump (waiting for Vexia to respond...).
[van]
Uly began."Ok,let me put it out slowly. We are agents from a foregin country which you will never know about,as neither of us will ever tell you.We were developing a sentient techno-organic virus with a network consciousness that could evolve, adapt, learn, innovate and imitate, basically an advanced self-aware network organism. We tested it a weapon and found it to be too dangerous. The tests were carried out in an asteroid lab we have out in the Oort cloud of the Sol system. After the AI codenamed Liliath began to go rampant, the asteroid was dissolved using nuclear weapons,self-destructing to follow quarantine protocols.
As it is,one of our intelligence agents went rogue in this country, selling the virus copy to a terrorist. The agent planted one in the central node while the terrorist planted a derivative in the main hospital, which you saw was destroyed earlier. Now,we are heading out to what is essentially the main hive of activity, where the queen bee is.Though I doubt my commander survived. The suit has a small nuclear explosive, enough to vaporise most things within a 100 metre radius. We will not talk about my commander anymore. As for which country we are from,if you ever find out and go to the media,we will kill you.Not that you will find out.The threat we face must be stopped here,or it will spread.
We are also doing this to avoid a diplomatic incident,to clean up our mess."
Finishing his explanation,Uly turned to the weapons locker which held the Ilhami weapons. In his mind, the weapons that they had salvaged from the Walmart should be enough. The weapons they used might give the civilians clues as to which country they were from.Afer this,he would see to it that they were compensated by insurance companies, but if they ever found out his country had done this,he would kill them. His country carried a burden of dishonour for this mess, and he would be damned if additional blame were placed upon it.
After this mission, the van would be returned to Ilham and their tracks covered here. The Americans were incredibly blind if certain methods were used to enter the country.Simple, effective methods worked the best. The minute he finished,he and his team would take the first plane back to Ilham.

Amir pumped the shotgun and fired it,while using his kindjal to slash the throat of the zombie before him.He had reached a junction where a strangely dressed man and a policewoman were fighting a horde of zombies.
His armour filthy and reeking,he had resorted to placing a surgical mask acros his face to filter out some of the smell of his armour and the sewers. It was coated with so many hazardous substances,Amir would be surprised if he came out of this mission with no sickness. He hoped to get to rinse his power armour soon.
His superconductive nervous system and chemically treated muscles working in tandem to cut a swath through the horde,he noted that most of them were now enhanced zombies, the ones which were as agile and strong as humans, though still rather lacking in the intelligence department. At least there were no controller zombies around.

The Jukebox Hero stood, staring at the woman, waiting for a response, when a zombie grabbed him from behind. Before it could bite him, he grabbed its poorly-attached head and wrenched it off. The body of the wretched creature slumped to the ground, and the Jukebox Hero threw its head far down the sewer. He turned around, and realized he had underestimated the zombies' speed; they were quite close.
"Well, I suppose we must fight and save the introductions for later," said the Jukebox Hero turning back to face the woman...that wasn't there. "Where has that blasted woman got off to? Oh well---" suddenly, another zombie latched onto the Jukebox Hero's back, frantically snapping its jaws. The only thing it bit down on, however, was the Jukebox Hero's pistol, and its afterlife was soon ended as a bullet blasted the back of its skull off.
The Jukebox Hero again turned to face the oncoming horde of zombies. "Well, I don't suppose this will do me much good," he said, tossing his pistol harmlessly at the zombies and grasping his sword in both hands. He charged at the mass of undead swinging his blade in great arcs, lopping off limbs, and sending a zombie to its second grave with every sweep of his weapon. Somehow managing to concentrate on something other than the rabid beasts hell bent on killing him, the Jukebox Hero spotted a large armored man also involved in the fracas with the zombies.
"Excuse me," yelled the Jukebox Hero over the caucophony of moans from the undead monsters, "how shall we get out of here?"
(Out of context: Okay, apparently Vexia wasn't responding, so she has magically disappeared, and her reappearance depends on her response)
[sewers]
Amir looked at the man dextrously handle the monstrous blade,as it swung through the air, decapitating some zombies with a sweep of its blade. He lashed out with his foot, breaking a zombie's shinbone, before finishing with a stamp to its skull, crushing its brain into the murk.
The zombies were rather agile now, those that weren't the undead zombies.Rather, these enhanced ones which were fast replacing them were Liliath's creations, not some rotting dead host body possessed by her network consciousness.
"I'll tell you my name as soon as we get clear of this mess.Name's Amir.Yours?" as Amir deftly dodged a zombie that had lungedtowards him.He extinguished its existence, slamming the kindjal through its skull to rupture its brain. He withdrew it with a glurp. He side kicked another zombie, before finishing off with a slamming kick to its neck, utterly snapping it.
Hacking his way clear to the side of the strangely dressed man,he fought with him, back to back as they navigated their way through the maze. Finally clear of the zombies after 10 minutes of non stop combat,he leaned against the wall, panting hard. The lack of sleep of food was taking its toll on Amir, even with his resilient frame and natural endurance.
"Its seems that we are near yet another manhole, leading to yet more zombies.I'm trying to catch up with some associates of mine. They are driving a big armoured van, unmarked.Have you seen them? They are wearing similar armour to me."
Holding out his hand in a gesture of friendship,Amir asked the strangely dressed man his next question."What's your name?"

At the beginning of the Outbreak
Deep within the Jungles of Zaire, in the Elgon Valley, the Shadows of the Mountain of the Same Name, holding the elusive Kitnum Cave, the Monkhood Sect, which had taken the land for its own, secretly keeping all lifeforms from entering the cave to keep a great viral evil from releasing itself to humanity discussed the threat.
These were monks from the fallen Byzantine Empire, and were specially bred in their 30 years of training how to deal with the supernatural. Lycanthropes, Vampires, Animated Dead, Undead, Demons, dimensional beings, and otherworldly menaces were a specialty to these three dozen men. They girded themselves only with the knowledge and the know-how to face all such menaces, and never was a true force that was never known.
"It's a Class 2 infection, bordering on Class 3, but it's unlikely for it to cross that line. I don't really think they know what they're up against, and are just using knowledge based on horror B-movies," said Eshkol as he polished the Shaolin Spade, one of eight weapons that the Sect were masters in, not including their four martial art masteries.
"Then they're wasting ammunition supply and their lives are at risk," Abram 'Bram retorted. "I believe we should intercede. It is our duty to defend against such threats with definite force. We would do our nation proud."
"What nation?" Leshem argued. "If you hadn't noticed, Byzantium disappeared a decade ago. We've been stranded in this jungle since with no word from Raziel or Israfel or Sandalaphon. We're forsaken to rot in these sugar fields and no one will have known we existed for what we exist." Leshem had been in despair for quite a while, and routinely needed to be smacked a bit into reason.
"We are many, but we do only have a single helicopter. Money, of course, won't be a problem, but only six could go. It would only be enough for a search and rescue with the others giving any kind of militia the training and the knowledge in dealing with a Class 2. Remember, it is only a Class 2, and those are still quite managable with a standard militia force. The Battles are won in the rural areas. A collective assortment of farmers and hunters could turn into an unimaginable force, due to their unlikely experience in precision shooting," Amitai, one of the leaders of the squad informed.
"Brother Amitai is correct. If we are to intercede on behalf of humanity, than it must be for the safety of the society, and not as a direct cause for the clensing of the damned," Raviv agreed. "Brother Eshkol, how are the weapon details gone?"
Eshkol looked up and grinned, "That's a silly question. We use them 8 hours a day. You know as well as I do of their condition."
Reviv nodded.
The Monks decorated themselves in free-flowing orange and white robes in formal attire, though casually they were known to wear clothes that would have little restraint for advanced physical movement and still allow for the minimum of things to grasp. Bodyfitting suits were best, especially those that allowed for camoflage, not that it mattered when in the presence of immortal evils. They needed to just be silent, as those who couldn't smell, could hear, and while they couldn't help being scented, they could help being heard.
Weaponry was simple. A 6' Rod of Iron, a Shaolin Spade, Katana, Wakizashi, twin Equilibrium Pistols, a Ruger Mini-30 Semi-Automatic Carbine, and twin Katars. The gear, save the primary carbine (and that was only about seven pounds), was very lightweight, and rarely impeded the physically agile and strong monks. Yet, their most useful ability was the fact that every single one of them was a master of telekinesis and all it's forms in abilities to enhance themselves physically and hinder their opponents, no other form of psychic prowess was worth intense training, so few had any real qualms about learning other psychic aspects.
The Huey Copter had been dismantled of all weaponry, such as a Minigun or an array of rocket launching armaments, to be refitted with extra armor and cargo space. Those infected would soon know that mercy was beyond them. It would be time to shut the doors of hell, and sweep those that escaped under the rug.
Leshem, Eshkol, Reviv, Amitai, Abram would be going; their pilot, Avishay, would be the most important part of this journey. It was predicted that such a journey would take over 12 hours, and then another two hours of travel to the infestation.
"I wonder how long it'll hold out before they collapse and spread outwards. The Countryside will not be safe for a drop-off. We should try to find somewhere to land where the residents could set up a fortress, such as Office Buildings, Schools, Hospitals, Police Stations, Retail Stores, Shopping Mails, Chuurches, Piers and Docks, Banks, and Cemetaries, the usual grind," Amitai informed.
For now, the monkhood could only wait as the transport was loaded in a huge cargo ship and headed off shore.

The Jukebox Hero grasped Amir's outstretched hand.
"Well, no one calls me by anything other than the Jukebox Hero. That's somewhat of a mouthful to keep repeating, so you may call me by any variation of that. Juke, Hero, whatever you wish. And I believe I've seen some armored fellows, but they're back on the surface. I would like to find that woman, however. I don't know where she got off to."
The Jukebox Hero saw Amir glance at him as if to say "She's probably dead."
"Well, about your friends, I doubt they'll be here in the sewers. Shall we go find them?" asked the Jukebox Hero, pointing to a manhole above them, and then looking at another horde of advancing zombies.
Amir nodded his approval (Out of context: I assume you would do so - if you don't want to, then we can backtrack), and the Jukebox Hero smiled. The ceiling of the underground tunnel was high, and the Jukebox Hero was unable to remove the manhole by jumping, so he reached inside his trenchcoat and began to search. After a few seconds he pulled his hand out, and in it was a gun of some sort.
"I really should keep an inventory of things in this coat. I had no idea I still had this," said the Jukebox Hero, aiming what he thought was a grappling gun at the ceiling. He fired it, and soon found out that it was not a grappling gun. The ceiling of the tunnel exploded, showering Amir and the Jukebox Hero with rocks; fortunately, none were big enough to actually harm them.
"Right - I need to label things..." said the Jukebox Hero, climbing up on a rock and pulling himself out of the sewer, up to the surface. Amir did the same.
"Now where do we go?" asked the Jukebox Hero, looking down a desolate street. "I'm quite terrible with directions."

Now,we are heading out to what is essentially the main hive of activity, where the queen bee is. Though I doubt my commander survived. The suit has a small nuclear explosive, enough to vaporise most things within a 100 metre radius. We will not talk about my commander anymore :!: .As for which country we are from,if you ever find out and go to the media,we will kill you.Not that you will find out.The threat we face must be stopped here,or it will spread.
[sewers]
OOC:I already said what I had t osay about the commander,Itranto. Now lets get on with the story. And as for the new guy Hexagrams, the story is that it is an engineered organism created by Ilham itself and unleashed by a rogue agent.Read earlier posts. It is not a supernatural thing, though it may become so later on as Liliath evolves in the story ok.trust me on this, there will be more twists in the story as it proceeds.Jager's fate will remain a mystery for now.Lets just say something is cooking 8)
OOC:dammit,no more bumping.Wtf does bump mean anyway?oh yeah,Amir doesn't know that the Major is supposedly dead.Look at the earlier post 1 or 2 pages back.Liliath is enjoying herself with him.
IC:Amir considered it.They were in an unknown sector of the city.He was desperately trying to saty awake, using stimulants to dose himself, but fatigue was slowly starting to get to him,not to mention that he was trying to find Uly,Ricky and the Major.
"I truly don't know where we are Juke. How bout' we take that ice cream van over there.?"
In the desolate street they had emerged on,an ice cream van was parked at the street corner, its doors open.Looking in,Amir noticed that the keys were still in the ignition.Luck was smiling on him.
"Ok Juke, how about you drive.I'll just rest in the back.Let's head for a hotel or something forst.I'll tell you about this whole thing once we get there."
As Juke started up the engine, the ice cream music came on.Amir,on the passenger seat, sank into a sleep as Juke drove the ice cream truck towards the nearest hotel, the ice cream music echoing through the desolate city.
[Van]
Ricky considered their options.Their primary mission was to stop Liliath. However, they could take a short detour to the bank and perhaps check up on the civilians there. They might be a good source of information, considering that they would need all the manpower and vehicles possible to take down Liliath's main node. The nuclear option was useless now, given that it was genelocked and required Jager's blood to activate.
"Ok boys,we're heading for the bank to pick up any survivors. If there are,we pick them up,salvage some vehicles and get to the main node."
Saying so,he turned left down a street. The zombies were less noticable now, having retreated underground or the the main node for some purpose.Ricky suspected something strange was being planned.
[Main node]
Liliath screamed in orgasm, clutching Jager's inert body as she forcefully brought him to climax, her nails scraping across his back, drawing blood.Leadking fluids, she kissed his lips before settling down on her throne, sated. The transformation was going well. She could feel the fetus in her womb kick, her daugher growing at an accelerated rate.Soon, she would ascend.Meanwhile, her other little project was going well.Slowly, ever so slowly, she was bringing Jager under her control, using her special methods. The power of magic never ceased to amaze her.Combined with techno-organic technology,it resulted in many wondrous creations, foremost of which was her consort. She would make his end painless of course. It was the least she could do for the father of her child.Ah,she could see the people coming, unaware of her intentions. She would let them witness her ascent. She had decided to turn them to her prophets.Twisting their human minds would be an easy task. They would see her,and she would be their messiah.
Sometimes, she felt pity as she looked at Jager, playing around with his memories. It was a strange emotion. And something else. She felt....a certain affection...no,that would not do.Shutting down her limbic system, rendering her emotionless, even then she felt a pang of regret. She searched herself.Something was not right.
[Jager's mind]
He would not surrender.Despite the constant pain, the constant pleasure, the assault on his mind, body and soul would fail.He would fight to the end and kill the bitch. He would......serve..no,no,no,no,no,no..he would protect....NO!HE WOULD NOT BE A PUPPET!...
Within his body, viral cells ran through his blood, controlling his body.Slowly, horns would grow out of him,his bones would twist and warp, his eyes changing to a fiery red,an image of fire imprinted on his hair by picolets, slowly altering him, while energies of all kinds leaked into him.Standing immobile by the side of the skull throne of Liliath,he watched her, watched the accursed life within her,his daughter.
Slowly,he fought a battle of wills with Liliath,repusling her,sometimes losing,but always there.He would be free.Liliath simply laughed,her awareness penetrating his memories,his mind,yet underneath,an undercurrent of..something...an emotion....

The Spartan ran through the forest, topping out at 30 clicks. He didn't even slow down when he hit a tree branch, his shields sparking from the woodchips. The trees thinned, then disappeared all together as he emerged into a park. A van sped by, and his infra-reds picked up (insert number of people in van here) clean lifeforms in the van. His visor dimmed in the glare of the headlights, as he smoothly tracked the motion. Jason jogged up to the road, and looked in the direction the van came from. Far away, he could see a horde of infected, but most of them were "dead." Looking at the receding van, he heard a voice in his head.
"Perhaps we should stick with the van. One directive is to protect the civilians."
"I am aware of our objectives, De'ja. I will follow them to the best of my ability. But, they are in no danger as of yet. I will go sample those dead iinfected, then cleanse the area."
"What ever you say, Chief."
The Chief leapt onto the nearest house, and continued to leap towards the mall, and the hefty supply of infected matter there. He landed amongst the ichor, sinking thigh deep into the muck. Jason pulled out a sample container, and scooped a finger into it, placing it into an empty ammo pouch. He waded out of the flesh, and tossed a mini nuke behind him, on a 1 minute timer. Running off at top speed, his visor darkened as the flash behind him died. This sample was probably only a basic form, not very advanced at all.

The Jukebox Hero was quite uncomfortable driving the ice cream truck; maneuvering the large vehicle was becoming quite irritating. The music, however, was by far the most irritating thing about the truck. The Jukebox Hero looked at the console of the vehicle, noticed a CD player, and immediately scrambled to remove his CD case. He pulled out a CD and quickly put it in the player, changed the track, and turned up the volume all the way. "Any Way You Want It" by Journey soon came blasting out of the ice cream truck's speakers at a glass-shattering volume. The Jukebox Hero put the song on a loop, and his nerves were quickly eased.
"I've always wanted to do this," said the Jukebox Hero as he pulled the vehicle around a sharp turn. (Out of context: I've always wanted to do that)
As the vehicle came around the turn, music blasting from the speakers, the Jukebox Hero noticed something that displeased him: hundreds of zombies lined up in front of a surprisingly classy hotel.
"Fantastic," said the Jukebox Hero, pulling the vehicle to a stop. "Well, I guess there's only one way out of this."
The Jukebox Hero revved the engine of the truck and shot forward...as fast as an ice cream truck can shoot forward. With the sounds of "Any Way You Want It" emanating from the speakers, the truck smashed into the wall of zombies and through the front door of the hotel. The Jukebox Hero yelled to the back of the truck for Amir to get out, grabbed his CD, and jumped out into the lobby of the hotel.

Nate sighed as he leaned back in his seat. He knew that something bad was about to happen. Going to the bank would only delay them. Nate saw out of the corner of his eye then, a man in green armor emerging from the trees. Nate blinked, and he was gone.
Nate looked at the road. They had started only a few blocks from the bank, so they were almost there already. "So who is going in to save them...if there is anyone to save." he said. No one answered right away. Nate sighed once more and began to hum to himself.

Uly slowed down as they came nearer the bank. They could see only corpses lying on the ground.Just for good measure,he ran over them to make absolutely sure that they were dead. From his estimations, all the 'undead' zombies, the original walking corpses, had all decayed. Now it was just normal grey-skinned zombies and cyberzombies roaming the streets, coordinated in groups by node zombies and moving at night generally.
Ricky pondered what he had seen.So a Spartan special ops soldier had been deployed here.He knew what his eyes saw.Which country was it?Obviously, other countries had gotten wind of this and were preparing a response to it as well.Even the clumsy Americans had finally gotten wind of this, though they still had not discovered that Ilham was indirectly responsible for it.Not that they ever would. He took a cloth and wiped his Gero battle rifle's scope, loading 5.54 mm HESH(High Explosive Squah Head) rounds. They would work wonder on any zombies. He had sealed the weapons locker containing the Ilhami weapons, though he elected to keep the melta gun and battle rifle out,as well as other converntional weapons, not the more signature weapons of Ilham, with M16's,SAR 21's and various other weapons salvaged from the Walmart littering the floor, ammo belts and magazines stacked in a corner.
"Ok,I'm going to scout out the bank.Anybody want to volunteer?Uly is staying here,to let the fuel cells recharge a bit and guard the van.I'm going to scout the bank.If there's anyone alive,we bring them out.If anybody's dead,we abandon the place. Also, when the army first came in,they left some tanks in reserve here, mostly some M1A2's,fueled up and ready to go.2 in fact.We are going to use those. We go in silent, fast and hard.Who wants to come?"
At that moment,he heard in the distance the faint sound of shattering glass as well as "Any Way You Want It" by Journey playing in the distance."Ok,looks like we're going to investigate 2 things."
[Hotel]
Amir fired round after round into the grey zombies, who were rather dextrous this time round, all sculpted muscle and flesh, born of artificial wombs in Liliath's den. They were tougher than the 'undead' ones, granted their better conditioning.Suddenly, one lunged out of a dark corner, its jaws connecting with his shoulder pads, where it bit down and promptly broke its teeth, chipping them and drawing blood from its mouth.Amir lashed out with his elbow, before gripping it by the shoulders and slamming his knee fast and hard repeatedly into its abdomen, bruising it before slamming his foot through the zombie, impaling it on his right leg.
Amir was in fact a cyborg. While no elite 'Spartan' soldier,he had a nervous system composed of superconductive fibers that made his reactions times 20 milliseconds and less, depending on an individal, adrenal glands implanted in his brain,a skeleton composed of a titanium-diamondoid composite, muscles chemically altered to decrease lactase recovery time and increase in thickness,a CVT(Cardio-Vascular Turbopump) system that served as a backup heart, pumping blood throughout his body and increasing the efficiency of his circulatory system,as well as arthiphages to increase the strength of his immune system, rendering him immune to chemical and biological weapons as well as radiation,as the artiphages repaired cell damage, though they also helped in resisting nanotech and picotech weapons. All this combined with 7 years of training in the Ilhami Commando's,with which he had enlisted at the age of 16,made him a fore to be reckoned with, even more so than the Major Jager,a former elite Deathwatch Captain.
The sleep he had until Jue crashed the truck had been enough for his cybernetically augmented body to recover.Clad in the crisis suit power armour, composed of titanium-polymer,powered by a fusion cell, though damaged,he carved a swath through the ranks of the zombies, his shotgun speaking the language of death as each shell slammed through flesh and bone.Combined with the used of kicks and stamps,he managed to clear his way to the staircase where Juke was holding his ground, using his sword to hack apart any that came near him, which by simple observation, were decreasing in number.
"Okay, want to head up of down?Either ones good for me."
Just as they spoke, the sprinkler system came on,dowsing them all in water. At that moment, they also felt a shockwave of heat as Ricky appeared with a few others, firing his melta gun from the hip,the blasts of the superheated pyrum-petrol mix causing organic matter to crumble to dust and melting the hardest materials.
As the zombies were cleared from the lobby, the sprinkler system still running,Ricky took off his helmet, the water runnig down his hair as he grasped the hand of Amir.
"We thought you were dead man!So you took out the other node eh.Good work. And I see you also ran into that strange guy."
"Yup,Kali's not a factor in play anymore. This by the way is Juke.Anyway, where's the Major?Wasn't he with you guys?"
With a look of grief on his face,Ricky slowly told Amir of the sacrifice of the Major.Amir could only nod his head, absorbing the news that the colleague he had trained with was now gone.
"Alright, lets get this show on the road.We will have time for mournig later.Right now, lets do our job.Juke, would you like to have the honours?"Amir said as he handed the Melta gun to Juke."Careful with it.We only have two of those suckers. And in case you are in a tight spot,self-destruct it.It's makes a mighty good thermal bomb."
The Jukebox Hero could only nod as he sheathed his sword and stroked the bulky Melta gun.He had seen how it worked earlier and he could understand the value of good weaponry. He was now the designated fire support section of the ragtag company.

OOC" BTW, I like Warhammer 40K as well, I love the way you guys brought it into this RP. :D
Jason looked towards the streets. He could see 2 vehicles, a van, headed to the bank, and, ice cream truck. The ice cream truck's destination could not be accertained, but had fewer people in it. He would follow the van. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop, he slowly caught up to the van, which had stopped at the bank, as he had guessed. Laying low on the roof, he took out his pistol, and sighted on the group. Some of them appeared to be wearing special armour, not unlike his own, but undoubtedly not equipped with shields. The rest were normal humans, nothing special. Jason holstered the pistol, and rose to a crouch. It was unlikely that they would see him here, but just in case. He was not ready to make contact yet. He flexed his shoulders. These lifeforms were going to be tough to deal with. THey seemed to get stronger the longer they were infected. The USNC should have nuked this place from orbit, then sent more of his kind to mop up. This op smelled of snag-ups, and these civilians were probably one of them.

Out of context: The Jukebox Hero doesn't work well in groups, but he might be back...
CLANK. Everyone in the group that the Jukebox Hero was accompanying turned around to find a meltagun lying on the ground, with the Jukebox Hero nowhere to be seen. Upon further inspection, Amir noticed a small note on top of the gun: "Gone to investigate something." Fantastic...
The Jukebox Hero strode down dark alleyways, moving towards what he had seen before. Slowly he worked towards a specific building through the network of alleys, never running - he hated to run. When he came to the building, he began to climb up, using his two silver knives as propulsion devices up the wall. When he reached the top, he quickly pulled himself up onto the roof, and stood up to face an armored man with a shield facing him.

Ted opened the van door and jumped out. Seeing as how the van was full of weapons he picked up a mac-10.
"To hell with this! I'm going in the bank!" Ted shouted as he ran into the bank. He ran down the stairs to the vault. He heard screams. Screams from living people! The clang of giant fists banging against metal were entering his ears. He rounded a corner to the vault. Two super zombies were pounding the door. They were standing with a group of lesser zombies.
He raised his gun and rattled off rounds into the zombies. About thirteen fell and one of the super zombies was oozing some sort of puss from its back. He threw the gun, then took out the last pistol in his belt. He fired until the super zombie fell. The other turned and took a heavy punch at Ted.
"Mother fu-!" he yelled at it then the fist nailed his face. It picked him up and ran up the stairs. It charged head on through the door and ran down the street. It kept running by some sort of calling to an unknown place. It had to take Ted to the voice.
Nate looked as the one armed man ran into the bank. Nate knew he was a fool. He picked up a shotgun and walked into the bank. He heard screams from downstairs. Nate groaned. He began to walk down the stairs. He then heard shooting. Nate pumped the gun and started to run. He was halfway down, when he heard the man yell something. He heard the sound of a person falling to the ground.
Nate stopped. The man had to be dead. He was about to go back upstairs, when he heard some grunting. He turned and saw a zombie carrying the man. It was running towards Nate. "Fuck!" he yelled as it charged up the stairs. As he reached the entrance, the zombie caught up to him. It slammed into him shooting him through the air and into the street.
Nate hit the ground with a thump. He looked up and saw the thing carrying the man away. "Oh like hell you will." whispered Nate. He raised the gun and shot at it. The shell exploded and the pellets spread in the air. Some hit the zombie causing it to almost lose its balance. It continued to run though.
"Help! One of them has Ted!" yelled Nate. He got up and began to run after the thing. He looked behind him and saw Juke on the roof talking to the man Nate saw before. Nate blinked. The man was a Spartan. "You two!" he yelled to them. "One of the things has Ted! Get down here and help me get him back!" yelled Nate pointing at the Spartan and Juke.
Nate began to run again. The thing was slower than it was before. Perhaps Nate had hurt it. He wondered. Once again, Nate's leg began to hurt. The pain was even worse than before. He shook his head and continued to run. He had to keep his mind off the pain. He just focused on saving Ted.

The Jukebox Hero looked away from the man with the shield and towards someone on the ground shouting at him - he was screaming for help for a friend apparently.
"This simply won't do. Well, I suppose I'll hear your story later," said the Jukebox Hero, getting a running start and jumping off the roof. He landed on top of the large zombie carrying a...human it seemed, knocking it to the ground with a loud thud. Before it could stand up, the Jukebox Hero drew his sword and decapitated the foul beast. Blood began to spray from the creatures neck as the Jukebox Hero wiped off his sword with a cloth.
The Jukebox Hero looked down at the man lying at his feet, and slapped him, as he was unconscious. As the man slowly came to his senses, the Jukebox Hero spoke to him in a condescending tone:
"You should be more careful."

The Beginning of Today
(Since a Class 2 Infection doesn't happen over-night, it takes a couple days of complete negligence for a Zombie outbreak to not be stopped when it starts (Night of the Living Dead was a Class 1. It only lasted a single night because of the quick response of the Backwater Hunters who quickly organized, established a method of elimination, and brought it to a halt.))
It was already midday when the Helicopter touched down at a civil headquarters. Avishay turned the engine off as the five others dismounted.
"What's the plan of action here?" Eshkol questioned Amitai.
The leader of the squad turned around, "Successful containment is top priority before we engineer infiltration. I'll....speak to the commander of this operation. Eshkol, I want you to educate their CO's on the correct principals of elimination and ridding of corpses. Abram and Reviv, see what you can pick up from any logs of incidents, this includes the examination of solanum-based corpses. Leshem, see what you can find out from who's been going in, and what hasn't come out yet. No surprises."
All six of the monks were dark-skinned, with Eshkbol, Reviv, and Leshem having no hair, while the other three had short or tightly knotted black hair. Their dress was a bodysuit of kevlar padding with a chain mesh underneath. It was quiet, it was fairly light (for them, it'd wear down a normal man in no time), and the tight fit kept it silent. Most of it was in an array of cyan & magenta, but some preferred a red and fuschia blend.
-----------
Amitai wasted little time as he headed to the main office of the commander of the operation. He spared little in detailing whether the issue had no longer been a local concern, but spread to the military. If it had, than a Press Blackout was certain to be in effect (This would mean that all radios would stop all transmissions and all television stations would be off the air [at least in that area] {Mainly to you JBH about the radio thing. In a State of Emerrgency, all stations' frequencies display the Emergency System Broadcast, repeating an electronic tone and recorded message, no music}). THe Monk was stopped before entering, as he had no authority to do so.
"I'm sorry sir, but we can't let you in," said one warrant officer.
"I'll let myself in," Amitai suggested. In a breif moment, his eyes matched the warrant officers, and the man became a bit hazy and disheveled. He then stepped out of the way, and the Monk entered.
"Who the hell are you?"
"I am here on personal matters to aid in containing the situation. You will do as I say, and things will go smoothly. Ignore my instructions, and your nation will suffer, the outbreak will become Class 3, and your entire region is at risk," Amitai informed (Let's face it, the 18 characters made so far won't make too much of a dent in a population in thousands).
"And why should I listen to you?"
Amitai looked the man in the eyes as his mind tapped his inner strength once more. "Because you're now under my command," Amitai said, hypotically suggesting, overpowerful the man's will to his own.
----------------
"Have any captives?" Eshkol asked while discussing with several Sargeants and Lieutinants about how they've taken the situation.
"Yeah, a few of 'em. They can take a hell of a beating. It wasn't too long before we figured out that the only way to kill 'em is to cap them in the head."
"Good thing for video games and movies eh?" Eshkol chuckled. "However, your weaponry is appalling. Shotguns, sub-machine guns, and automatic rifles are for the uneducated and the unskilled (*cough*). You'll want something semi-automatic, with good range, and accurate. Flinging bullets at bodies costs you money, time, ammunition, and puts you at risk by giving not only your position away, but attracting more of the horde."
"Any recommendations?"
"If you can find .22 Caliber bullets with an armor-piercing tip, a .22 Rimfire Rifle is your best bet. Bullets are small, so you can carry three times as much, otherwise try to find some type of hunting rifle or semi-automatic carbine like a Ruger Mini-15, Chinese type 56, or a Soviet SKS. This isn't an organism you're fighting, it's a virus. I advise a silence on your side-arm. If you're running containment, you don't want to be an alarm. Range is always a more important tool than accuracy. Studies show that the closer an invalid is, the more erratic one's firing becomes."
"Wait...studies? How many times have these things happened?"
Eshkol grinned, "Well, aside from the Katanda Incident, our first major report was issued some 5,000 years ago in Egypt, and it's been pretty continuous throughout history since. Not exactly the stuff they teach you in school, but then again, people tend to have their faith's snapped over their need when the walking dead arise. It's not really something that faith should be involved in, because there's nothing religious about it. I could go on and on about the details of Solanum, but it's moot at this point."
The officers were silent.
"Never thought you'd be a page mark in the book of statistics, did ya'" Eshkol asked, grinning.
------------------------------------
Abram flipped through the documents as he followed Reviv into the medical tent. Several corpses lay therein, as well as some cots with injured soldiers or officers or civilians.
"Close the tent," Reviv said, as he unbuttoned the pistol holster from underneath his arms. Abram did just that, and one by one, Reviv went down the line, placing a bullet through the head of every body there from the Equilibrium Pistol, whether they were alive or dead, because there was no way to stop the virus once it had entered the body. The Heart beat too fast, and as soon as those teeth got in, you were done for. Reviv was merciless in making sure. It took 37 lives to ensure that the tent was safe.
"Check the bodies for the virus," Abram instructed as he sat down and looked through the papers, reading about an odd military entrance into the city, as well as lost barricades, as well as civilian transmissions. There was even surveillance of several military grade vehicles plowing into town. Helicopter reconnaissance had several photos from the city's main cemetary, as well as commotions in a popular retail store and hospital. Looting and pillaging reports covered everything as the basic society crumbled in the wake of the infestation. Abram never really received this disgusting fact of how wuick humanity was willing to throw away it's civility in exchange for petty theft when one's lives were so at risk.
"This is weird," Reviv said after 10 minutes. He had slices open one of the animated corpses, as well as taken a blood sample, tissue sample, and brain sample. Three microscopes had been filed with the samples as Reviv jotted down observations. "This isn't Solanum. This is. . . something else."
Abram rolled his eyes and stood up, heading towards Reviv. "What else besides that virus could have the same effects Brother Reviv? Let's be serious for a moment."
Reviv rubbed the back of his neck, turning his head toward Abram, "Something man-made."
Ideas were beginning to click inside Abram's mind as he flipped through the papers to the HUMMV's and the other national presence. "....No one in their right mind would..." was the unfinished sentence from the Monk. "Strap up that corpse, bag it and put it in the huey. We'll need a live one as well."

Leshem sat down, scanning through the database. It seemed as though a good 30% of the civilian force had been adequately evacuated. Leshem would have predictaed that at least 25% would have been turned, and 20% would have been killed by both civilian, military, and undead forces as a result of chaos. This left 25% unaccounted for. It seemed to be basically right for a standard situation. He assumed that 10% of the people left in that city would live through the ordeal. It's not like the animated dead really had to eat anything to stay alive. That part was just a bit too hard to explain really. Most would just take a few bites, enough to turn the person into them, and leave it be. It was an army after all.
Leshem scrolled down a bit, to a few reports on un-marked military vehicles breaking through into the city soon after the emergency situation had been officiated. This indeed was suspicious. Leshem began to wonder about exactly how the Solanum infect would have begun. It was possible that the original host washed up on the docks. Or perhaps a traveler was admitted to the hospital. He figured that most would assume a graveyard, which was the most ridiculous place an infestation could have occured, due to the proper way beings are buried. Morgues and Hospitals were the breeding grounds nowadays. When someone is buried, they're put in hardwood or steel coffins and put under 6 feet of solid ground. A corpse will have rotted to the bone before having the slightest chance in scraping through that.
Leshem flipped through a few dispatch records. It did seem that the barricades had been failing, but now that Amitai would be heading that, it wouldn't be a problem. One would just need to send the signal for all the forces to move out of the town when the gates were down, if it was going to plan. The Monkhood had taken bigger cases and classes than this, and it was always the same. Leshem was hoping for a bit more of a direct intervention. His pride was beginning to consume him.

Avishay helped load the bagged and preserved body into a storage compartment as Reviv and Abram sat down inside the helicopter. Reviv had begun the habit of smoking religiously, but to the other's dismay. However, he was a Pipe smoker, and kept a oak pipe at the ready at all times, as well as leaflets of tobacco. Reviv pressed his finger to the pipe, and in a pyrokinetic spark, the leafs lit up in pufflets of smoke.
Amitai arrived soon-after with good news. "The gates will be put up within 3 hours. By 6 P.M. this town will be locked down. We'll have 20 foot tall fences around the city with three outlets. The power to the city will be shut down to charge the fence with 100,000 watts of electricity. Signs will be put up to warn civilians and instruct them to the nearest outlet. Zombies can't read, so they'll most likely lose their un-life in touching these things. However, we will need to secure the sewer outlets from the city. Fortunately, there's only one main tunnel which empties into the city's sewer system, and that goes into the Lake. We can take an iron grate and weld it so it shouldn't be a bother."
"Man with the plan. Who's got sewer duty," Eshkol asked.
"I want you, Leshem, and Abram to handle it," Amitai instructed. "I'll take care of things here with Avishay and Reviv to back me up in case things get hairy. I want you to to overlook the other gates to the east and west. Make sure that they don't become a problem when instructed. By the time the sun falls, this place will be gated up and locked down. We'll then be able to move in as forces can safely prepare to clean up."

OOC: FYI Spartans have energy shields
The man had come close. Too close. He was slipping. He couldn't let that happen again. He leapt off this house, and on to one 3 doors down. He landed and laid on his belly, again watching. The man that had surprised him was impressive, killing a zombie in a few seconds. 2 men had run into the bank. Foolish people, still worrying about capital. His country had long ago abolished money, holding a reserve only for outside military acquisition. What foolish goals. He again leapt, landing on the bank, scouting. 2 entrances, neither very well fortified. He hoped they didn't decide to hole up here. Almost certainly a death trap. He could help these people, but if they insisted on putting themselves in dangerous situatons, his job became harder. Sometimes he wondered how civilians could be so foolish.
ooc: this is one of my other Rp characters.
{James}
A young man walks in the streets of the town. He sees the bodies on the ground and the blood. Hell it seemed, was on earth. He walked forward with nothing to protect himself. He always loved a challenge. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw one running towards him. He smiled.
James turned and saw in slow motion, the thing jumping. He stepped aside ans grabbed its legs as it flew by him. The spikes would have cut through a normal person's skin, but James wasn't a normal person. He swung the creature and threw it through a wall. It got up again. James walked over to it. The thing seemed dazed.
He lifted his fist, and punched through its head. Chunks of brains fell to the ground. He pulled out his fist and wiped it off. He walked into the building that he threw the thing at. Inside were some shotguns and a few submachine guns. Nothing that he liked. He sighed and grabbed the stuff anyways. He would probably need it.
As he walked out of the building, he filled the shoutgun with shells. He looked up and saw the zombie was up again. The thing let out a roar and rushed towards him yet again. He lifted the gun and fired. The head was blown off and the thing fell to the ground. For good. He turned and saw a Spartan. He smiled. An ally was here.
He turned on his COM device. "This is Spartan-018. James Faron. When did you arrive?" he asked the other Spartan.
You couldn't really tell that James was a Spartan. He hated the armor so he didn't wear it. The only odd thing about him was the fact that he was extremely tall for his age.
James began to walk towards the Spartan on the roof. Hopefully he knew him, but he doubted it. He stopped at the entrance of the bank. The other Spartan seemed annoyed. Even though his helmet covered his face, he could tell the other was unhappy. James looked up at him and asked his question again. "When did you get here?"

Who the hell is this guy? Another Spartan?
Jason was annoyed. If this guy was from Brandonia, he should have been briefed, but without armor, it was hard to tell. In such cases, it would be better to stay away. He leapt to the very top of the building, the highest point on the bank. Pulling out his pistol, he looked over the newcomer. No insignia.
Damn it
The newcomer was as strong as he was, at least without armor. With armor, he could easily crush this guy, but if he was another Spartan, he could use all the help he could get. Right now, he'd also love to have a Scorpion, but you can't have everything. He had a Warthog dropped out in the woods, but only for emergencies. If this guy was a Spartan, Jason really hoped that he had his armor nearby. He'd need it if things got rough. The man wasn't afraid, or even shaken by the sight of a Spartan, which lead Jason to 2 conclusions. One, he had worked with Spartans, a lot. Two, he was a Spartan, but not necessarily a friendly. Neither option was very suiting to him.

"L-L-LL-L-Lil-L-Liliath!" Ted shrieked while his body was having spasms. Ted's body flailing about and his head was jerking back and forth hitting his head against the ground. His pupils took up almost the entire area of his eye. Vomit was oozing from his mouth and his nose was bleeding.
He saw a what seemed to be a pregnant zombie. He saw a some what fimiliar face. He saw advanced zombies guarding the exits as well as the man. His vision went down the hall, then outside to a sign that he had seen before.
His eyes closed then shot open. HE stood up. He looked around, his face was pale as well as the rest of him. His body went into shock and he fell to the ground. His blood was draining out of his body so bad that he had little hope of living.
