The Island of Retarn is a large island about 800 miles south of the coast of easy green. Its population of 115 million is ruled by a military imposed government let by the war lord Mofet Hadzar, He came to rule 2 years ago after the original easy green supported government was removed by force by his group of loyal followers. Then Easy green only sent more money to the government as we could not send military support as we were already engaged in a war in Crete. After four months of fighting though the government surrendered the cost was high over 50,000 people died in this short time. For 2 years since then he has gone from strength to strength, he kills anyone who stands in his way. and has intercepted aid we have sent to the island to help its starving population he has also used his large but outdated navy to raid passing vessels for any goods they may carry.
Last night the passenger ship Illinois did not report in on time, no message was received about abandoning ship at any point hence we were lead to believe it was the work of Mofet Hadzar due to this 2 merlins search and rescue choppers went out to find the ship and its 700 passengers. Two hours later the radio called out that the ship had been found it was alight and listing to port the sea was filled with the bodies of the passengers and crew of the ship. This was the final straw this morning easy green vowed to take the island back and restore order.

Admiral Robertson look from the deck of intrepid at the fleet around him this was the largest deployment of easy greens forces so far this was the big one.
He turned to his 2IC

On the island a man ran up to Mofet Hadzar as he looked across his new airbase from a hill to the west of the island.
"Sir the fleet has left easy green their on the way"
"Let them come my friend let them come where ready and its only a mater of time till we get support from other nations.
