Pig iron is basically crude iron cast in blocks.... it's what steel is made from.

Pig iron is raw iron in an ingot form. It is the immediate product of smelting iron ore with coke and limestone in a blast furnace - a hard but brittle mix of iron (90% or more) and carbon (typically 4-5%), manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, and silicon (roughly 3% in total). It requires further treatment in a bessemer converter or basic oxygen furnace to produce steel or wrought iron. Cast iron is made by remelting pig iron, often along with substantial quantities of scrap iron, and taking various steps to remove undesirable contaminants and adjust the carbon content.
Well Hell..why didn't yeah say so....got plenty of steel product lying around...i do have 7 Storefronts....Taking your advise and compacting them for space...
DaKhiem is sure that the CPRD can under-cut Brazilian prices (owing to the great-leapesque production methods, which of course explains a general.. no refunds policy) if it will secure significant exports.

[OOC: 9th largest mining sector in NS, btw... its not quite false advertising, but then I don't think the other 8 are gonna show up here, so effectively...]
There is a difference between pig iron and your steel that you sell dra-pol. We do the hardening into steel ourselves.
Indeed, but then why shouldn't we be churning out pig iron too?
