Revoltion in Kuppo "Socialist take control in Kuppo."
Associated Press- A new flag was raised today over the shattered nation of Kuppo. The small 3rd world country, located in the West Pacific has been the scene of a massive civil war between the military and the supporters of the Kuppo socialist party.
The revoltion begain in December when Kuppo's economy fell and inflation rised. For years the country had abusive police force that kidnapped innocent people and brutally tortured prisoners. The ruling Military regime had allowed for elections several years ago. This led to the begaining of the formation of the Socialist party of Kuppo which to the military regime's suprise won massive local elections and eventually controlled 40 percent of the paraliment. Fearing that it was losing power the military regime ended elections and begain arrested political dissdents.
Michael Bane, the leader of the socialist party led the revoltion while in exile. The civil war claimed the lives of 5000 Kuppoins and about 30 percent of the nations capital was in flames. Now that the military regime has fled, Bane plains to rebuild his country into The people's republic of Kuppo. The state run media annouced that the new Chairmen of the republic will meet with world leaders to discuss alliances and establishment of embassys. Espically with other communist countries. Then on Friday the leader and government will draft the first ever coustitution
"Today is the dawn of a new era" said Bane on state run channel 3.
Bane gave a grand speech to the nation proclaming the rule of the people and ending his speech with the country's new motto
"Force men to live free"
