Trabia, Shinrita: (March 16)- Nerve gas was released earlier on March 15 in a heavily moved subway tunnel in Trabia, the capital of Shinrita. 75 people died, with many more incapacitated due to the gas, with the first evidence of the gas being released was in the heart of rush hour, when people were returning home from work.

The IRRE, the fanatical religious faction, declared by President Hunter to be a "insurgent" group of rebels last month, claimed responsibility for the attacks, which occured at 4:54 PM. Armed IRRE members clashed with Police in the northern province of Astoria, where IRRE headquarters are. No one was seriously hurt.

President Hunter responded to the attacks today by ordering police to surround the IRRE compound. The tense standoff continues through the night. By declaring the IRRE an "insurgent" group, under Shinrita constitution, it gives the President a "bill of force" with which he can use military personnel, although President Hunter is satisfied with using police for the time being.
