The fast escort ships, modified to carry the entirety of the 316th, jumped into the Warp on a direct course to the Sentinel World system...

As the ships landed on the ground, the soldiers of the 316th Cadian, the Men of Faith, filed out into their ranks and prepared for war.

2 Empirer Class Battleships exit hyperspace jsut outside the orbit of the plant with 4 Loki Frigate escorts.

Drop pods desengaged from the Battleships, burning though the atmosphere, the pods crashed into the ground as soon as they did 30 SpaceMarines poped out. there Armor Pure Black armed with ther bolters and Plasma Cannons plasma casters frag grenades.
50,000 Marines had landed, The Chaos forces were the target ordered to attack anything that got in there way the battle was on.
Dropships that had just jumped in landed surpplying Tanks Artillary repairs and such. the Force was getting ready. HQ was set up and Loki walk onto the planet, taken his Helmet of he looked round not a single marine not doing anything. the landing site was clear of anything that was not theres.
"sir the Chaos forces are here, here and here" sead a CO pointing on the tack maps.
"fine attack them lets clean this planet up" he ordered

marines were pooring onto Transports flyersabout 10,000 left behind as reinforcements the other 40,000 had there targets and nothing was goin to get in there way.

400KM away from the Engagement, a Sub-space Vortex opened up. A rippling cloud of Cyan and blue, it would have been blinding to anyone near. Suddenly, out the Vortex came a bird, gliding through space.

This was no ordinary bird. This was a bird made from Titanium and Quantum armour. It's length was a good 20KM, and it's width was 11KM. It swooped around a few times, then it turned towards the engagement, and the engines beneath the tail and wings came to life with a roar.

And with a startling speed, the bird flew towards the engagement, the words METAL GEAR ROBIN showing briefly.

In the Lore of ROBIN a long haired man sat. Around him were
crewmen at their stations manning some kind of function of ROBIN. The man sat imposingly, dressed in battle armour and a black cape.

This man was Liquidus Snake, the ruthless Dictator of Outer Heaven Mark II. He tapped a few commands into a nearby console, and the empty wall infront of him turned into a viewscreen. He grinned as he watched the engament only 200KM away.

Liquidus turned to a crewman manning a post nearby. "Report Ensign." Liquidus asked, keeping his imposing stature.

"Sir it appears we're five minutes late! Dark Eldar, Hive Fleet Kraken and the Chaos Forces have already started engaging the enemy." the ensign replied, keeping his eye on his console.

"Well who in blazes are they engaging?" he asked, a tone of anger in his voice. The ensign pulled it up, stopping his immediate fear from surfacing. If Liquidus got slightly angry, there's a good chance that whoever made him angry would be d when they got back.

"I-i-it's the Imperial Guard, the Space Marines, the Space Wolves, and the...." the ensign looked worried, "Adeptus Soritas!" he said very worried.

Liquidus stood up. "What! What are the Adeptus Soritas doing here? This engagement is between us and the Imperials! Damn, okay. Hail the nearest Chaos Forces ship and tell them that the 1st Serpent Fleet have arrived." Liquidus said, trying to keep his cool.

3 vs. 7......not good odds at all, but when we land, it'll soon be 3 vs. 1! Liquidus half thoguht, and half hoped. He turned to another Crewman. "Lieutenant, prepare the Metal Gear REX's and RAY's, and activate the ship's defenses." Liquidus ordered.

"Aye sir!" he said enthusiastically, he started to tap commands into the console beside him. A short rumble followed by the sound of the External armour opening was a good enough sound, the guns were being deployed.

"Sir!" the Ensign shouted to Liquidus, "The Chaos Forces are hailing us!" he shouted. Liquidus turned to him, and then to the viewscreen. "Put it up on screen Ensign..." he said, and the battle view faded out....

"Chaos forces are being beaten back by a combined effort from the 316 Cadian and newly arrived Black Templars!"

"Sir there are reports of a Nurgle battlefleet led by Typhus is advancing towards this planet, there also appears to be a large flying titan circling the planet!"

IC, "This is 'The Storm Of The Emporer' we are in range of the metal gear do we have the go ahead to fire?"

Personally if I was chaos, I would have virus-bombed the hell outta them ages ago...

"The torpedoes have done nothing but the lance batteries have punched a hole in the side of the ship, all troops prepare to board, every man gets a meltabomb send in 2 companies and 30 heavy weapons platoons to take out the metal gear ray's and rex's!"

"Sir!" Lieutenant Bask shouted as the viewscreen faded back to the battle, "We have multiple....no, we have the whole Cadian Fleet on our tail!".

Liquidus turned to him startled. "When will they be in range Lt.?" he asked, thinking up of a battle plan. The Lieutenant pulled up the fleet's flight plan. "Erm...now?" he said, quite worried. Suddenly the ship rocked as it was bomarded by the Cadian fleet.

"Damage report!" he shouted to Ensign Saro. He looked at his console. "No damage at all sir, the armour is holding up fine!" he shouted. Liquidus sat down so he wouldn't be thrown across the deck by the constant barrage hitting his ship.

"Your orders sir?" Lt. Bask asked, keeping an eye on the Fleet behind them. Liquidus turned to him grinning.
"Execute pattern Beta 4-4-Niner, take your targets and go Lt." he said. Typing into the console next to him, the viewscreen came up showing the whole Cadian Fleet.

"Aye sir!" the Lt. shouted. Suddenly, blue lasers streaked from outside the viewport. He watched as they hit the Cadian ship's shields. Eventually a few ship's shields gave way and the blue barrage hit them, ripping them apart.

"Lt., you are free to use whatever weapons you see fit, I have my own weapon to prepare." Liquidus said, typing something else into his console. Suddenly, the Blue lasers were joined by yellow spheres. They streaked over to the enemy ships, penetrated the shields, and watched as they blew from the inside out.

"Okay Lt., that's enough, order our pilots to get to the Metal Gears, we'll be launching in 5 minutes." Liquidus said, still typing into his console. The Lieutenant complied and the blue lasers and yellow spheres stopped. Liquidus typed the last command into his console and a big red button came up from the right armrest of his chair.

The alert lgihts started to flash and the computer warned the crew: "Alert Alert! Liquidised Quantum is about to be deployed! Get to the designated safety areas and wait there until futher notice!" it repeated again and again. The pilots continued towards their Metal Gears, while the rest of the crew got to their designated safety areas, and held on right to whatever they could.

"Sir! You're going to use our prototype on the Cadian Fleet! We don't even know if it'll...." the Lt. instantly closed his mouth, for Liquidus turned to him and gave him a look that only meant one thing: I can see you being killed very soon, so shut up before I do! Liquidus turned back to the viewscreen and watched the fleet continually barraged the ship to virtually no avail.
"Okay Crew, witness the of the Cadian Fleet..." he said. And with his hand, he smacked it onto the Red Button.

On the underside of ROBIN a hole opened up, and a very small Titanium Ball shot out towards the Cadian fleet. Five seconds later the Titanium Ball lit up with a yellow light, and when it was in the middle of the Cadian Fleet....a huge, white light lit up, engulfing most of the fleet, and then a huge, red, fire like explosion came out, ripping the fleet apart in seconds and engulfing a nearby moon. A shockwave also came out following the explosion which shook ROBIN with such force that most of the Crew were thrown about the ship.

A few seconds later, it all subsided, and it was like the the Cadian Fleet and the moon never existed. Liquidus slowly got up, along with the rest of the Bridge Crew. They all sat at their posts, shocked, and waiting for Liquidus to speak. A minute later he uttered two words: "Damage report." The Ensign checked his screen and he was amazed by the result.

"Sir! T-t-there's no damage at all on the Robin, the exterior hull is nearly molten and a few places are scarred. But nothing else seems to be damaged! We lost about 5 people, and about a hundred more are injured, but they're being dealt with now." he said. Liquidus let out a sigh of relief, looking out of the viewscreen, apart from the planet and his allies, nothing else seemed to exist.

Liquidus sat up straight again, and turned to the Ensign. "Take the ship down to the Planet and prepare to deploy our Troops and Metal Gears." he ordered. The Ensign nodded and the ship dived down towards the Planet. Liquidus turned to the viewscreen and watched the atmosphere coming fast towards him. Victory was at hand...

Seconds later the whole fleet aimed their weapons on the side of the ship and simultaneousley they fired. Huge explosions shook she ship and at the point of impact appeared a giant hole.
With a huge roar boarding ships blasted towards the ship each one full of Kasrkin, the elite fighters of the Imperial Guard almost every man was armed with weaponry easily capable to take care of any defences the enemy could muster.
"Repel that!" the commander said as we wathced the rest of his fleet raining fire onto the enemy ships weaponry, rendering it all but useless.
OOC, You have been boarded i advise you to utalise your escape pods before your men are compleatly wiped out. GET TO THE PLANETS SURFACE WHILE YOU CAN!

"Chief Teige, Teige there's a message coming in, its traitor guard"
*Teige slams down the steel mug in his hand*
"Where, rally my Guard, sound the Gudrun [A Humoungous Horn] we go as soon as possible."

Three hours later the first Taurentian Strike Force sets off, three Companies of Midnight Wolves (inc two Armies of the Lupaarn Marine) and four regiments of the Heimdal Dragoons.

"SIR! THEY'VE PUNCHED A HOLE INTO THE SHIP! AND OUR DEFENSES ARE RENDERED USELESS!" the Lt. shouted panicing. The ship shook under the Barrage. Liquidus turned to him. "WELL GET THE SHIELDS UP! AND INITIATE THE AUTO-REGENERATION NANITES! I WANT THOSE GUNS UP! ENSIGN! CONTINUE TO TAKE US DOWN!" he shouted, they all complied, and a blue circle of energy surrounded the Robin.

"Mwhahaha! If those fools fire on us, it'll bounce off and it'll do 10 times the damage to the attacker! And those poor ships, if they get within 100m of the shield, they'll be yanked in and disintergrated!" he laughed. He sat back, and watched the atmosphere clear, the hole was half repaired, and the guns were slowly being repaired.

"All crew, prepare for landing! Soldiers, get equiped and all RAY's prepare to drop! We're dropping you into the sea. 5 miles off their coast! Good luck to all of you!" he shouted into the intercom. He sat back and watched as the ROBIN flew over the water.

The Goliath, Marine Landing Vessel gently bobs up and down on the surface of the ocean, at 40 knots it steams towards the coastline,

"We need to get all the Ostro-Goths (Light Attack Tanks, similar to Hell hounds, I built them last summer, all two of them) on to the beach, we'll hit those traitor guard from behind their own ranks!" Commisar General Natasha Strenlikov's voice boomed around the bridge, an steward ran to her presenting her sword to her, "I just hope we're not too late." she murmered under her breath. The steward simply smiled.

Down in the hold Harold Magnus Gunn was fitting his Medium Bolter Machine Gun, MBMG, to the Golgotha, the fastest Ostrogoth ever built. Hugo McSplode was fitting his Rocket Launchers to the Rear Turrent, Charlie McBane checked the ignition. Finally Kieren O'Roorke checked the engine and his maps, the Four man crew double checked their equipment then got in.

"All Crews!" the P.A system called out, "Mount Up! get ready to go!"

There was a great cheer, the crews got in their Ostro-goths faster than ever before. the door drops down and the tanks roar into the melee, three surprised Traitor guard are quickly mowed down, the fight is on.

"Mwhahaha! If those fools fire on us, it'll bounce off and it'll do 10 times the damage to the attacker! And those poor ships, if they get within 100m of the shield, they'll be yanked in and disintergrated!"

IC: the Empire Class Battleships saw the Outer Heaven Ships,
"Fire the Grav Cannon lets make them 20x Heavyer" the commander ordered

as soon as the order was given the Empire Class ships fire there Grave cannons hitting a few ships, they started to glow Greenish the ships that were hit started to fall to the planet faster due to the fact that they were now 20x heavyer. (OOC: just think what the people inside feel like ;))

on planet side, the Marines were nearing there points 4 points had been picked to attack Chaos force, that was 10,000 troops per point. the battle would be grate the battle would be bloody the battle would be lost or won.

Lol i did alot of research, but the sheild can only stay operational for half an hour, and that's only if it's not being fired upon.

Huge flames appear in the sky, Outer Heavens Ships hit by the Grav Gun,

"What the Devil is that!"Harold shouted, "Taurentian Battle Cruisers in Sky must be fighting" Charlie responded, her eyes fixed on the horizon, point 1 was in sight.

"Sir!" the Ensign shouted, "The shield Generator is malfunctioning! It's going to blow!!!". Liquidus looked at him. "Eject it now!" he shouted at the Ensign. He started to do so. "Status on the repairs?" he asked the Lt.

"Sir the hole is patched up, we'll need a space dock to repair the damage, the weapons can be repaired, but only 1/4 of them can work fully. The ship's also under alot of strain, we need to lose something else or otherwise we'll go into the sea!" he exclaimed. Liquidus nodded and turned to the Ensign. "How far are we from the Coast!?!" he asked. The Ensign brought it up on hir Console. "Around about 10KM." he said.

"Damn!" Liquidus shouted, "That'll have to do. order the RAY's to drop now and launch the Shield Generator behind us. Lets confuse those f**kers!" he shouted.

The RAY's were hanging on some Struts when the order went out to drop. The floor beneath the 50 RAY's opened up and the Struts dis-engaged. They fell and went into the diving posistions, and in one big splash, the 50 war machines landed in the sea.

At the same time the Shield went down, and a large ball shot out of the ROBIN. It flew up into the sky and blew with a blinding light. The ROBIN closed up and now that alot of the weight had gone, it pulled up, and flew on, the RAY's close behind...

"Dam it the were lighter the we were thinking, mmm....send a few Firewings and Endors let seem if we cant hit them that way, report on the ground?"
"our forces are clashing with the Chaos a reported came in of another Chapter doing the same some Marines were despached to engage them"

the Marines in Sector one had moved up to attack the Chaos forces, there Chapter Banner was Waveing high in the Air on there Bearers. moveing to the top of the hill they looked down on the Chaos Force down below, 10,000 Marines a few Dreadnoughts and Tanks. the order was given the Forces Opened fire moveing down the hill. the sky gunships flew over head opening fire, wirlwinds fired there missile loads. all out war had started and only one side would win.

Liquidus watched as the RAY's broke off and went round the coast. The hope of this would be to cause collateral damage to whatever Imperials they could find, and draw them away so ROBIN could land. It was working. Imperial Forces started to chase after them, leaving ROBIN space to land.

Five minutes later ROBIN landed on it's 'Feet'. It then crouched and the main body opened up and a huge ramp came down. THUD, THUD, THUD. The REX's stomped down the ramps, checking for enemies, followed by them was a 8900 man Army. Then fighters flew overhead and did a quick patrol, nothing turned up.

"Sir, we've recieving a distress call from Chaos, shall I put it through?" the Ensign asked. Liquidus turned to him. "Yes! If it's a distress call then it's urgent!" he shouted, he huffed and then turned to the viewscreen, it turned into a soldier.

"Liquidus Snake! We need help! The Imperials have caught us out and are decimating a ground forces! We need you're assistance now! We've lost half our defenses and artillery and........" suddenly an artillery shell appeared behind the soldier and hit, sending bits of him over the screen before it fizzed out. He turned to Bask.

"Lieutenant...send all of our ground forces and half our fighters over and help the Chaos forces. You are in direct command of them. I want the other half of our fighters to stay here to guard us while the final repairs are being made. Got it?" Liquidus ordered. Bask stood up and saluted. "Yes sir!" he said. He left the bridge and getting on a Swoop Hover Bike, he lead the Forces towards the battle, hoping that they had enough people to win...

As Bask and his forces set out to aid the beleagured Chaos a numerous whining sounds could be heard as the place was immediatly bombarded by a detachment of mortars. Explosions ripped apart a vast number of men as they dived for cover. Then suddenly a flurry of precise shots impacted on the forehead of Bask, he slumped off of his hover bike and rolled on the floor and with his last breath ordered the command to fall back.
OOC, ouch so many shots to the head, cadian snipers you gotta love 'em.

Liquidus was surprised upon seeing his army back so quickly. But he couldn't see Bask anywhere. Once the soldiers had boarded he debriefed them, and learnt the truth... :cry:

Liquidus slumped in his chair, fighting back the tears of sadness and sorrow. All the fights they'd survived, all the celebratory drinks they'd had, and he'd never noticed how much Bask had meant to him. :(

Liquidus then stopped feeling sorry, and felt very dark. So dark that his cape didn't justify what he felt. Liquidus looked up, gritting his teeth. He would make Bask a hero and a martyr. And he didn't care about the allies fighting above or on the ground, he just wanted the Cadians to die painfully. :evil:

"Ensign, recall everyone, the RAY's the fighters, everything we've deployed." he asked. The Ensign did so, and immediately after everyone ahd entered ROBIN, he keyed in a command to his console, and the big red button appeared onhis right armrest again. He targeted the engagement site where the Chaos were losing, and pressed the button...

The Titanium sphere launched out of ROBIN and up into the sky, it flew for a few more seconds and dropped, and it hit right in the middle of the battle, by then, ROBIN was in the sky.

A huge explosion roared out and ripped the continent apart right under ROBIN. Liquidus had only used the low level setting, and it had worked beautifully. What remained of the continent was fully submurged under scalding water. Liquidus watched the explosion subsize, and he felt good..... :twisted: . He turned to the Ensign. "Ensign, send out a transmission to all the Cadians. I want to make certain we mean business!" he almost shouted. The Ensign complied and soon, the news reached every Cadian...

I'm glad to see that you answered my post requesting to be allowed to play as Black Templars....oh wait you didn't.....

All the marines entered the neatly lined up rhino's and land raiders and in a moments flash they began to move as a column towards the enemy position.

The Black Templars Arbinger Crusade arrives in the system. 2 Battle Barges, 4 Strike Cruisers and 11 Nova Frigates, as well as 700 Templars have arrived. Marshal Jaweski, leader of the crusade contacts the Dark Angels reportedly in the area, while ordering his fleet to approach the Traitor and Chaos forces. With boarding torpedoes at the ready, he is prepared to send in powerful forces to take over whatever enemy ships are in the system - Robin, Planet Killer, anything.

"Okay then, I'm deeply sorry for what's happend. You'll recieve them in a few minutes, Liquidus out.", and with that, he shut the Viewscreen off. He then turned to the Ensign. "Ensign, put half our informants on a shuttle and deliver them to their ship." he ordered.

The ensign started to tap in a few commands. "AND, put one of our LQB's on the shuttle as well, the Chaos are going to far with this, and he insulted me, and you know what happens when I get insulted." he said. He tapped a few commands into his console and the big red button came up. "Tell them to load it into the Holds of the shuttle, set it for Remote Detonation." he again ordered. The Ensign complied.

Within minutes the shuttle launched. When it entered the Choas ship, Liquidus pressed the button. Within seconds the Hull of the Chaos ship started to ripple. Then explosions came from inside it, and it blew up with the same devastating explosion the last had.. By then ROBIN was flying away, heading towards the nearest battle.

Typhus sprinted into an escape pod and jettisenned into space and was collected by another ship.
Having had his flagship destroyed he turned his attentions to the Robin
"BRING IT DOWN! NOW!!!!" he boomed the remaining chaos fleet turned toward the ROBIN.

OOC: Metal Gear REX is a huge Bipedal Battle Tank complete with Rail Guns, Machine Guns, Torpedo Launchers and Two Solaris Quantum Magnification Guns. Liquidus watched the Armies land by the Sotuh Wall, spilling out over the plains. He knew that there were ships up there, and they would ard them, so Liquidus sent out the order.

All 100 Metal Gears launched a type of Pod into the sky the blew up, the explosions joined together and created a swirling Vortex of Flak above the Metal Gears. If a shot went near Liquidus's army, the shots would be hit by some Flak.

Liquidus grinned and stomped fowards on purpose, making the Metal Gear's look like big cumbersome Machines when in fact, they were VERY agile. Soon the Cadian Armies would learn of this, and regret ever landing. He keyed into the Intercom:

"My followers, we have fought well today, but we lost ROBIN. You all are good troops, and those Foolish Cadians believe they can crush us! But with an army this well equiped, and as skilled as we are, we will wipe the Cadians off the Galactic map!!!". All the Metal Gear's roared triumphantly and all the Soldiers cheered. The Cadians were crossing over the South wall...

IC, Typhus had seen the metal gears before and knew how agile they really were, he gave the order for his 30 land raiders to fire at the heads of the metal gears, the order was immediatley carried out and at least half of the mechanical monsters fell to the ground crushing hundreds of their own men beneath them.
Then he felt the ground shake around him as his 10 warhound titans came striding foreward blasting apart metal gears and mowing down swathes of enemy troops with their huge machine guns.

Suddenly all the Metal Gears jumped up and launched everything they'd got (I'd sorted out the head weakness). Within minutes Half of the Chaos Forces were destroyed and Outer Heaven had only lost 1500 of their ground troops. Fighters torpedoed the heck out of the Forces hiding behind the South Wall. Liquidus and all the REX's launched some more of their rockets and blew the Warhound Titans to pieces. Then all the REX's opened up their Rail Guns and machine guns at the remaining ground troops. Soon most of the Chaos Forces were lying on the ground, either or bleeding, and a few hundred escaped...

Liquidus and his men cheered, and decided to help their other allies attack Senital Dreyflux.

OOC, The forces behind the wall are perfectly fine, the fighers couldn't do anything to them, why you ask because there is so much flack in the air supposedly. Plus most of your metal gears were destroyed and thousands of troops went with them, i had 10 war machines on the battlefield that are bigger and powerfuller than your metal gears so most of your men are lying on the floor dead or injured because as i am saying this a huge amount of fire power is finishing off the remenants of your army so put that in your pipe and smoke it!

The squadron of Black Templar Space Vessels approaches the Planet Killer. From each Battle Barge boarding torpedos are launched, being small enough to escape detection by the sensors of the Planet Killer. 600 of the Marines, including every terminator and assault squad in the Crusade, are being sent in 60 of these Torpedos, to board and attempt to capture the Planet Killer. Meanwhile, the Battle Barges, Strike Cruisers and Nova Frigates are attacking the Planet Killer with a large amount of heavy weaponry, ensuring they don't destroy it, but attempting to cripple its weapons and engines.

OOC: Ok lets get one thing straight. No-one can say the person's casualties but the person being attacked. To many things are happening at once. My marines are attacking the traitors in a city, a few cadians i think are backing me up. Please post what your forces are doing.

That army is not a godmod. It is perfectly legitimate for a Eclessiarchal Crusade to number that amount. Trust me I've played them since 2nd Edition...

As the black templars approached the fleet of Typhus now lead by a new Flagship, 'Terminus', warning sirens rang around the two despoiler battleships at the flank of the battlefleet. The commander of one of the ships radioed the rest of the Chaos fleet and prepared himself for battle. As he looked out of the viewing window he saw numerous torpedoes heading toward the planet killer, immediatley he ordered his fighter squadrens to destroy them.
As news of the attack reached Typhus he ordered his troops to stop heaping Liquidus' dead and teleport back to their battleships and prepare to fight. Typhus and his retinue of 20 terminators marched towards Liquidus who was lying on the floor coughing and spluttering Typhus knelt down beside him "Not So Arrogant Now Are You?" and with that he slapped Liquidus in the face and teleported back to 'Terminus'.

OOC: Cadain, you can't undo what's already been done so deal with it. And the Flak Vortex only goes over my Metal Gears, so put that in your Pipe and smoke it! Now excuse me, I have some Sisters of battle to deal with...

GET INTO FORMATION AND FIRE ON MY COMMAND!" he shouted. He watched the screaming Warriors running down the hill...

the black ship descended to the battle field, liquidus saw it he knew nstantly what it was, he reached desperatly for his pistol so he could end his life rather than let them take him, he grsped at it but could not reach, the ship lannded. he was desperatly trying to free himself from the reckge of his REX, but to no avail, a lone figure dressed in black robes and ornate power armour stridded towards liqidus, the figure crushed the pistol with his armoured heel, "no no no no!! you wont take me! I wont let you, bck impral scum!" four power armoured figures marched towards him, they were soe of St. sigmisunds personal custodian guard, they picked him up and carried him, chained to a holy plinth, on to the ship and all that were heard were the screams of "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Suddenly a whole platoon of space marines froze in terror :shock: as 30 lictors apeared right in front of them and began ripping them to shreads.

As the marines were pre ocupied with the lictors millions and millions of gaunts smashed into the main forces of the marines as carnifex's ripped apart tanks in a matter of seconds. It looked to be a vey grim day for the marines.

As the tyranid forces ripped apart the marines they were unaware that they were in for a big surprise.
A blinding light illuminated the tyranids and the marines fell back into the fortress. hundreds of battlesuits dropped onto the planet closley followed by orca dropships out of which poured thousands of fire warriors.
They unleashed volley after volley into the hoarde killing an untold number of the vicious creatures. As the hoarde turned to fight the new threat many more were killed as the hammerhead gunships fired salvos of missiles into the middle of them.

ic: the marines turned, took up firring postions and used their inferno bolts on the 'nids and began to cull them in their thousands and forced them to retreat intothe tau crossfire,

As the tyranids an into the crossfire they realised thet they needed to retreat as only half their forces remained. Suddenly hundreds of harridons flew in and picked up the ramaining tyranids and flew towards their landind zone to regroup.

at the head of the armie stood chapter master henterphisin in the armour of the custodian guard but wearing a black helmet along with all the other men from the sigmisund system.

i one hand henterphisin had a golden master crafted exitius pistol bleased by the emporer and in the other a terran force staff the weapon of choice and badge of honour for the custodian guard

All his forces looked up at him, and started to pray to him to stop the Devil from sweeping them away. "I cannot my Followers...die gloriously, die in my name, and the Devil will never get you..." On the other side of the Planet, a huge Portal opened up. Out of it came the 2nd - 8th Fleets. They had six Metal Gear ROBIN's, eigh Taurus Command Cruisers, twenty-four Fighter Carriers, thirty-six Carrack Cruisers and 72 Cobra Gunships. One ROBIN broke away, and started down to the planet at maximum speed, homing in on Liquidus' Distress Beacon...

Liquidus sat sweating, cramped, and tired. The REX hadn't gone up far enough, and the fire had engulfed the REX. [WARNING! HULL BREACH IN ONE MINUTE!] The computer nearly screamed. Liquidus sat back, and watched the metal all around him turn to Liquid...

Zooming through the torrent, the ROBIN was standing up to the fire quite well. On the bridge, Commodore Exodus sat, watching the view-screen. After half a minute, he turned towards the Portal Controller, who was keying in a few commands. "Lt. Excaliber, how long until you can beam our Lord out?" Exodus asked, his voice booming. The ROBIN's hull had started to glow when a huge blue line went up its body, and started to absorb the ship, only from the inside out. A few screams could be heard, but they were engulfed, just like the ship, the whole ship was engulfed in the blue...

...And did the exact opposite in space. In the middle of the 2nd - 8th Fleets the ROBIN appeared, and a cheer came from all the crew on every ship. The Lord had made it...

OOC: TWO things Sigmis:

1. Liquidus' REX leaped with Rocket propulsion sending it high in the air, not catching it in the explosion until about a minute later.

2. What was used was NOT teleportation Technology. It was a Combine Portal, which basically creates a Quantum Space Rip in-between two places. Because Quantum Space has no mass (it's everywhere and nowhere), travel is near instant. That's what happend with Liquidus and the ship, so really you couldn't stop us. And if you could have, the cascade reaction caused by the Portals would make an explosion the size of a Super Nova (because Quantum is very delicate and also very reactive).

OHMKII your wrong on your first point it wouldnt matter if your REX jumped when the Imperaim Exterminates a planet they do just that even with you jumping the Blast would have got you no matter what you do and the REX would die even befor it got into the atmosphere just cos u have rocket booster you would not get to the hight needed.

2nd point your ROBINS would never have got near the planet the Inquistitor fleet would have attacked it and most likey destroyed it (there scary and REALLY powerful telepaths well some of them) and i think there ships have the Best things in the Empire and the blessing of the emporer himself what makes them really scary :S there fanatics
