Late breaking….Royal Family attacked by Terrorists

At 4:57pm, this afternoon an unknown group attacked and killed the royal family. The entire 1st Family while out greeting their people were ruthlessly gunned down while talking to a large group of people. In all close to 21 killed & 48 more injured. The Terrorists used illegal weapons to mow down these innocent people.
The Terrorists then turned it into a running gun battle w/ royal militia units engaging them in heated combat, Most of Central New Avalon was a war zone as the Terrorists opened up any one who crossed their paths….Using RPG’s, Grenades even Molotov Cocktails. After a 3 hr running battle the Terrorists were overrun, Only 2 attackers survived though in critical condition…The Militia lost close to 59 men and another 102 Injured
All in all their were 26 Terrorists. The Terrorists suicidal foray thru the city caused over 30 billion in damages and a total of 178 Civilians killed with another 598 Injured

…Following an emergency meeting of the Quorum….General Eric Valtane was appointed Regent, until his inauguration as new Archon.

His 1st act was to create a special investigation board headed by Colonel Marla Black

Hello we interupt this program to give u an update. Today Prince Edward Duke of Jersey the Kings middle son along with Earl Spencer and Lords Hopkins and Trad were killed while touring around VL with their Royal Family. Almost their entire Royal Family was killed in the massacre and terrorists fought a running gunbattle with VL Royal Militia Units for many hours. 12 FBI Agents guarding the Royal Group were also killed by the terrorists they fought a gunbattle but were outnumbered and outgunned. The Matich Royal Family is in mourning. Thats all we have for now. Stay tuned for new info.

We have reconn units already inside VL relaying info to our CommOps HQ.

Allied nations Darkwing Vampyres and Gonad 1 have set out from safe harbor to the waters off VL, extending to the coastal areas off the Empire of Crossman.

The nation of Nebadon has scrambled it's Harrier's and Hornet's to patrol the skies along the western border of VL.
