As our beautiful country slowly creeps up to a population of 1 billion citizens, it has become increasingly apparent that our declared land is running out.
President Richard Evan authorized the expansion of our land, not by invasion of other countries, but rather by using fill dirt to create extra land. Ever since the establishment of the United Faction Navy 179 years ago, the nation's naval docks have been dredged and the dirt taken to warehouses where the government has offered it to construction companies for profit. Forty years ago the government realized that the population was steadily on the increase, and halted the sale of dirt in case of a situation that we currently face.
The United Faction of Big Long Now has chosen the shallowest area off the coast of BLN to expand its nation, in which they will build a concrete wall around the chosen area and begin filling in the area.
The area reaches out five miles from the coast and fifteen miles, and filling is expected to be completed in seven years, with light construction in eight, and heavy construction projects in ten years. They plan for this expansion to be the first in a long line of hopeful expansions of the nation of Big Long Now, and they plan to dub the new expansion as the city of Intrial, New Carolina.
