News Broadcast from WNN, Witzgall News Network, reports:
Today, at a meeting in Opia, one of Witzgall's major cities, there was an assasination attempt against Witzgall's dictator, Matthew III. The forensic team assigned to solving how this was done and who did it has released a report.
Apparently, a bomb was planted underneath the table at which Matthew III was sitting. The bomb, however, was planted under the wrong side of the table, and therefor was unsuccesful in killing the dictator. Instead, it took the life of one of Matthew III's generals, General Robert Zakia.
The forensics team has yet to discover who planted this bomb, but it is suspected that a terrorist cell or an undercover enemy-nation employed an assasin to carry out this plot.
Matthew III has said, and I quote,
"If these scientists find out who attempted to kill me, that person will have a PUBLIC HANGING. It will be mandatory for all citizens to attend, and this man will not even be granted to speak his Last Words."
