And you don't think it at all reasonable that any potential enemies wouldn't already now your layout, its not as if entire antions hide under a big cloak of invisisbility...

he could use the weapons of war he builds for other nations to defend himself......
Iuthia

Iuthia has at least 50 spy satalites along with over 150 communication satalites so I doubt any nation could hide it's basic geography from us...

It's pretty impossible to stop satalites going over your nation because of the way satalites work, to tell the world that satalites cannot go over your nation is suicide because everyone needs to have satalites orbiting the world (as they can't keep them over their nations unless they are within 15 decrees of the equator or spending alot of fuel and reducing the life of they satalite to the point of stupid cost).

So everyone with basic space technology can see every nations geography. However, you can conceal small troop movements, but you cannot hide large fleets or huge mobilisations... they are damn near impossible to keep under wraps.

Eitherway... Doujin is just releasing information that would already be available to me... only now I don't have to OOC ask for it.

Of course, a map makes it clear what your enemies can't do, as well as what they can do.

All you need to include is locations of high EM readings, large cities, capital, major military implacements, and spaceports(if you have them). :P

your shipyard placement seems sort of random ... (?)
I guess I can't really say that without seeing the rest of your infrastructure, anyway. Nevermind.

Doesn't matter if the map is crappy though - most people don't have one in the first place :)
(like me, for instance)

The shipyard (xendi) is placed in the middle of the Doujin Sea so I can have large vessels.. namely the Doujin Class that "doesn't" exist IC yet, no one is to know about it.. but anyway, that is one of the reasons.

Philopolis, Doujin is pulled from the name Doujinshi, which really has two definitions. One is "fan-made", the other is a group of women who sit around and produce Yaoi/Shounen-ai/Shoujo

You misunderstand. I'm not talking about your *main* shipyard. I'm talking about the small, tertiary ones - the one in the NW, for instance, or the southeast where there are shipyards away from Quirinus but none right next to it.
