It was summer time in Europe. Fairly warm and comfortable if you were a German citizen living in the protected borders of Germany. All major German cities had always been busy with buisnessmen and people who just needed to go to the market. Out of all the great cities, Berlin was the most important. The capital of the German Reich, it held one hundred percent control over many things. But the most important was the Adolf Hitler, the largest stadium in all of Europe and tonight it was to be busy.

Fuhrer of Germany, Daniel Baker had set for a celebration for the Waffen SS tonight and to make a speech concerning all German citizens. Naturally the entire stadium was beginning to fill up with all sorts of important political leaders, foreign ambassors, military leaders, personal advisors and much more. The total capacity of two hundred and sixty seven thousand people occupancy reached it's quota at around 7:30 p.m, half an hour before the Fuhrer's speech - and it was a spectacular one.

The night began with a large fireworks display overhead that lasted a straight ten minutes. Thousands of fireworks exploded in the Berlin night sky dazzling the people. The second thing to happen was the huge band which introduced the five divisions which were to march through the stadium of the Waffen SS. The band stood in the center while the 1st and 2nd division, with a total of ten thousand men, came out from each side of the stadium and marched around in a circle meeting at the other end.

The entire marching ceremony lasted an hour and ended with all five divisions of fifty thousand SS soldiers, all proud Ayran men, standing tall in the arena. The steel folding chairs were provided for the soldiers when the Fuhrer began to make his speech. He too, of course was provided with a lavish entrance. The band, the three banner Swastikas hanging high over the arena. He entered onto the large stage with his traditional brown shirt on and saluted crowd and especially his soldiers. His speech was to begin:

"Friends, Family, people of The German Reich. There comes a time in every mans life when he has to make a decision. Our father Adolf made this decision when he began his rise to power to save our country .. and he did so. Throughout the years the three Fuhrer's of Germany have made unregretable decisions which have improved our living style. The decisions a Fuhrer must make is wether to defend his country .. or let the Jews, ..or the Communists take it over with their stupidity. That is a simple decision and we will not let it happen.

Our great Reich has been untouched in over thirty five years. The last military scuffle with the allies ended with a disaster. Over two hundred and fifty thousand American, British and Russian men and women died in those days. The beaches of Normandy are still the sights of the bloodiest battles ever to take place. But we prevailed. We managed to beat off the evil and set an even better position in this world for Germany. But the peace cannot last forever. It's come to my attention that there still many threats in our world and some are closer to us then we think. The Islands of Evil have become a greater threat to us then the communists could ever be.

That must change. The Americans ---- The British --- The Russians --- even the Turks wish that our Reich could end and be forgotten forever. But that will never happen, I promise. This is why I, Fuhrer Daniel Baker, have made the decision to end the threats of the West. The time to rise and let the world know we are still here is now. Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live. I must know if the German people are behind me."

The Fuhrers question was answered with a standing salute from everyone in the arena. The civilians and the SS both. He stood on the large stage looking at his people and then walked off.

The call from Berlin had just reached the Norwegian Lufftwaffe H.Q and the scramble was to begin. In less then twenty minutes, from all across Norway, one hundred Mirage 2000 fighters were into the sky and headed for Reyjavik, the Icelandic capital. The fighters were armed with their so called "smart bombs". The Ayran pilots had their targets, mostly airbases, radar sites and communication towers. The Airbases were to be hit the hardest, with targets plotted against skytowers, hangars, planes on the ground and fuel tanks.

It is a shame the reich was not forgotten,germany has had a bloody history in the modern world,the Prussians were mercanaires for hire,then under Kiaser Willhelm it wasi mperialist,under hitler a facist imperialisim,and now a repeat of hitler,the powers in this world may once again have to unite to prevent the germanic domination of europe,yet Kihameria would not yet involve itself militarily.

Like Jagiellonia itself would not exist. I'm rp'ing in the real world, not the NS world. But if you'd like to rp as a country like Iceland, Britain or America I wouldn't mind. :D

Its a shame; we were hoping to establish some sort of diplomatic relations with your nation. No, I don't think I see myself roleplaying the allies in their struggle against your nation. You should consider transfering over to the NS world. If things went well, I could see myself forming some sort of alliance with your nation. Think about it.

Yeah and appear to all the war hungry large nations with spaceships and elves. My main nation is in the real NS world :P and I think you requested friendship with my region. ;)

The Grand Duchess of Luxornburg would like to note that hositilities often accomplish the exact opposite of what a country might want. Her Elegancy points out the lesson of the People's Republic of Kay Son- which is currently going under a social crisis, even though it is in the hands of a military oligicharcy.

Now I've had this problem before. People go to rp as a nation I'm not going after and decide to come after me. I want to have more rp's so if someone decides to rp as say, Sweden and attack German Norway, please don't. We can have a war with Sweden but not now this is kind of planned.

2) Are we to assume that D-Day was a massive failure and the Germans beat the allies back on the Western Front and the Eastern Front was a stalemate?

3) How do we know the economic, political, and military strengths of each country. If the Germans beat the allies back then Russia and America are still allies. Then there was no Cold War and no Arms Race.

4) Is America a "World Superpower" and Russia and China "Regional Superpowers"?

5) What happened with Japan? Were they defeated or is there still a stalemate in the Pacific?

6) If I can figure this all out I would like to be the United States in the RP

btw, the Mirage 2000 is not just a variant of the EF-2000. In fact, its an entirely new aircraft with origins in the Mirage line of French aircraft. The EF2000's 2 engines might have tipped you off on that one bud.

As soon as the jets were spotted by the radar, the military went into action. The few American-supplied SAM batteries (say around 100) went up and started shooting, but it was a lost cause. The rest of the armed forces could only watch as bombs dropped all around them, destroying their targets. A few planes flew into the air, only to be shot down by enemy fire.

Iceland had been prepared, but what could they do against an enemy that had as many planes as they had people?

Casualties:

~300 or so soldiers/workers at targets
Large number of American airbases destroyed (Iceland has none). If the American player wants to RP something else, then that works, too.
Many communication towers destroyed; the military's probably going to be relying on portable radios now.
~35 SAMs destroyed.

Japan, in my timeline, lost. Although there is a nation called "Japanese Occupied Asia" in a region I created, Japan lost the war.

The first wave of M2000's returned to their bases in German Norway with fifteen planes less. The technicans and mechanics noticed the losses and silently mourned them as the returning fighters landed on the runways.

But back in Berlin the German Chancellory was cheering on the first wave of victories the Lufftwaffe had accomplished.

And so the next wave of attacks was now coming from Germany would be most devestating to Iceland. Along the Norwegian border over one hundred V4 mobile Rocket Launchers pulled into range of Iceland. Twenty minutes later twenty five of the one hundred launcher sent off two of it's long range rockets at Reykjavik. They were pretty much dumb rockets, with no precision aiming at all. So it was to take out whatever was in it's way.

The Finish waited in anxiety as they watched the war from a diffrent world. The German Luftwaffe was showing its audience its pricesion bombing strike, propaganda though it the soliders watched in awe many greenhorns having just signed up for the army not knowing what lay ahead of them. Many wanted to prove themselves but would have to wait for there chance.

(OOC: Guess my post didn't go through... stupid forums)

Even as the SAM batteries rose to fire at the enemy aircraft, the rockets hit and exploded, taking out many homes, and damaging a school building.

Firefighters and other emergency workers come out to repair the damage, but they cannot save those already killed by the missiles. The heat from the flames turns what would have been a cold, chilly day into something much worse than a nice summer day.

Casualties:

27 people killed, many more wounded. The missiles have also hit roads in the city. There is no general panic yet, but that may change later...


The Prime Minister's Office:

David Oddsson sat, head in his hands, wondering what to do. The SAM missile batteries hadn't been able to protect anything from the German planes. The only consolation he had was that, Iceland's military being so small, it hardly mattered. But the recent attacks in the capital would no doubt completely demoralize Iceland. If the Germans could kill 50 in a day with just a few of their planes, what could a country with only 280,000 people do against their entire military?

Still, he had to try. If only to make a little footnote in the German history books listing all their conquered countries.

Desperate messages had been sent to the American and British governments, but he expected little. They wouldn't go to head-to-head against the Germans; not over such a little island. And even if they did, they hadn't been able to save France or Poland; why should it be any different with his country?

But he couldn't stop to think about that now. He had to work. What passed as a bare excuse for Iceland's military and police forces had already been notified, but there was so much more to do... so much more.

The German T.V Channels had nothing else on but the speech already underway. The Fuhrer of Germany, Daniel Baker, had been addressing the country and the rest of the world on the war situation in Iceland. Only one nation in the entire world questioned and commended the attack and that was the United Kingdom. The Fuhrer took a sip of water and continued his speech.

"The people of Iceland have never seen war. You could say that icy rock mountain is a virgin to the art of war. Until now -- and it is just how we all predicted it would be. There has been very little opposition in the opening days. The Lufftwaffe has managed to open a large gap in the military and command structure of the Icelandic nation. But the foreplay has to end here.

This is a warning to the leaders of Iceland. Well actually it's more of a choice. As we speak, along our Norwegian borders twelve ICBM silos are open and are preparing their missles. A remaining one hundred and fifty mobile v4 Rocket launchers are also sitting along the borders, with two rockets armed per each launcher. Not to mention the Lufftwaffe is preparing our Tu-160 heavy bombers to finish off your pathetic island by dawn.

But this next attack can be avoided. I, Fuhrer Daniel Baker of the German Reich, want a formal surrender from Iceland by 8 a.m tommorow morning. There will be only two stipulations: Complete surrender of all Icelandic Military Forces and complete German Wehrmacht control for an unknown amount of time. Of course this is one hundred percent optional. You could choose NOT to surrender and then have missles, rockets and bombs falling upon your nation all through the night. Every city on the island is targeted. Your choice."

((Mintar, TG's. Btw, if you're wondering how we have a Russian bomber. Let me explain. Since Germany gained around 6 or so former USSR states during WWII and we took the spot of the USSR. So since we have some former Russian scientists and such, we were able to build SOME Russian tech bombers and such. I know I'm making myself sound invincible, but I'm not really lol -- I mean one day I do plan on killing The Third Reich :P))

David Oddson stared at the message. And turned away in disgust.

They thought that just because they were a small country, that Iceland would simply let themselves be walked over, shown by all other examples that it would be hopeless to fight. Well, it was true that the fight was hopeless, but that didn't make the rest true.

Oddson turned to his American-provided military commander, reflecting for a moment that if he did not have American support, he might have been forced to surrender immediately. Iceland hadn't even had an official military until recently when the threat from Germany had become large enough, and even then only a small force, trained by the Americans in Guerilla warfare.

"Mr. Gale?"

"Yes, sir?"

"The SAM missile batteries are still up?"

"They are."

"Well, use them and those planes to destroy as many of those German weapons as you can."

"You've decided to fight?"

"Of course."

"You know it will mean the deaths of most of the people on the island. The Germans have killed many times the number of people on this island just in battle. Not even counting the death camps. They will not hesitate to do the same here."

"I know."

"But you're still determined?"

"I am. If we let the Germans take this for free, there is no guarantee that our people will be safe. Who knows... maybe after the Jews it will be us."

"I will carry out your orders, then."

"Thank you, Mr. Gale."

Gale walked out of the office, and straight to his radio. The first German strikes had elimanated most of the radio towers already in place, but portable ones with installed encryption worked almost as well.

Gale knew that the whole war was hopless, but, perhaps like Oddson, he knew that to give up would be wrong, and perhaps for no benefit as Oddson had pointed out. It might mean many deaths, but if you gave up now, when did you stop? And at least no one could blame him for losing...

Reaching the room with his radio, Gale turned it on, and spoke into it...

"Get me the airbases..."

While several airbases had been taken out during the first German strike, at least a few were still in operation. 100 American fighter jets swooped into the air, to later be followed by another 75 to fight off any retalitory strike that the first wave could not hold off.

Those at the SAM missile batteries were alerted, and had their turrets aimed, ready to fire on anything that got too close (OOC: I assume nothing's in range now, but if anything is, we fire on it).

As the american jets sped toward their targets, Oddson sent his reply:
