Forces around the country are neing geared up for operation, and the Allanean Air Armada is already en route to HLF.

The Armada consists of:

The Charlton Heston Fighter-Bomber Squadron (400 Anarchist-1 Fighter Bombers, 600 Anne-Coulter Fighter Bombers)

The Aaron Zellman Bomber Squadron (1,000 SU-34's)

The John Dingell Long-Range Bomber Wing (100 Molniya-1 heavy bombers).

We use a mix of Pac-2 and Pac-3

As the craft enter 300-mile range of the HLF capital, medium-range Yakhont-4's detach from some of the craft, streaking out toward the horizon.

In total, about 500 FAE-carrying missiles are launched, aiming at powerplants and government offices (not even one from each craft!).

The craft go on.

A SU-34 pilot screamed as the Pac-2 missile hit his aircraft. And then another. And another.

The trail of the incoming missiles was clearly visable, around the capital Pac-3 batterys unkeashed their load at the incoming missiles, 400 missiles tried to intercept the incoming rockets.

The capitals first wave of Pac-2 and Hawk batteries prepared to fire as soon as the palnes were in range

ooc: 50 planes isnt very realistic, the amount of planes you have would mean that they would be closely bunched together. Declare how many missiles were shot down then ill post losses, and start an ooc thread

The prime minister was running to his shelter, he could see the trail of the missiles in the sky. There was a massive shudder as the building was hit by 20 missiles, he was thrown to the ground and felt blood tricklle down the side his face. The screams of people above him filled the PM's head. Next door the Home office had taken over 100 missiles, it groand under the stress before finally giving way and colapsing.

The main power station on the outskirts, was hit by the remaining missiles. Trafficlights stopped working and the tube grinded to a halt. It would be at least hour till the power was restored

Of the cabinate Only the Prime Minister, Minister of defence and the health secretary remained. In all casualties from the attacks are

Each battery had enough for 3 full reloads, after the chaos behind them the crew knew they wouldn't get anymore. 20 batteries had been destroyed in the city, 380 Pac-2 reamined, 200 Pac-3 and 300 Hawk.

In anwer to the carnage behind them 400 missiles from the Pac-3's went up at the missiles. "fuck it," thought the commander of defence ", tell every hawk to send up every missile they've got as soon as the palnes are in range and make sure if anything is still airborne the Patriots get it"

900 Hawk missile went up in 10 seconds to take the planes down

Nearly 100 missiles hurtle towards the attacking force as the fleet turns hostile.

Carnage ensues. 100 SU-34's, 5 Molniya-1's, and 150 Anarchist's are shot down.

"Fire away!"

Whily only around 1,700 craft remain airborne, this is sufficient to launch 2,000 FAE missiles at the city (2 per craft), and 50 Air-to-air missiles at the US craft (ten per craft).

As the rest of the Hawk missiles speed toward the planes the Pac-2's unleashed all they had. In total 1520 missiles were aimed at the planes and 1600 were aimed at the incoming missiles. Now they had to sart reloading, the crews prayed their missiles would hit. Missiles from the second barrage landed throughout the city destroying cars and houses alike. 5 stray missiles hit the cities largest hospital at the base, it crippled the ER department and flames billowed up the building

Even assuming only 400 missiles hit, that's pretty low. :roll:

The patriots were attempting to reload when the missiles hit, the result was devistating. Ammo stores around the sites went up and debris flew everywhere, shreding flesh. The hawks were still up and running although 20 that had been near patriots were destroyed.

Our remianing AA defences are 40 Pac-3's, 100 Pac-3's and 280 Hawks. A major estate in the city was hit by many missiles, 8000 people perished in the latest salvo. They just needed 2mins to get the hawks ready to fir again

The planes are in range. All hell breaks loose as the Molniya bombers drob 1000-kg high-explosive bombs on every government office on the map, while the hundreds of fighter-bombers strafe the AA sites with 20mm cannon fire.

50 planes are lost, and then the damaged Armada turns back into Allanea. Post losses.

IC: The prime minister had had enough, the latest boming run had killed 10,000 innocents. They would pay in blood, "Tell all silos to fire at the Allanean capital. Wipe it off the face of the earth"

985 Peacekeeper ICBM's were let lose, they were programed to detonate 100ft above the ground but were not Nuclear. Each missile contained a mix of warhead swith either Smallpox, Tabun or VX. A message was sent to the Allanean's infoprming them of the nature of the attack

100 more planes are shot down on their way back to Allanea.

Almost simultaneously with their landing back in Allanea, the VX missiles start hitting.

Even though about 600 of them are shot down by SDI, the remainder hit South Allanea, an area with a large concentration of military facilties.

60,000 Allanean soldiers and 5,000 militia activists are recorded dead, and 150,000 more (the 523rd Infantry Division) are in sever condition.

Patriots vs. ICBMS? WTF?

He is going to use the Patriot's to destroy the ICBM's in the air before they can detonate, hence preventing them from activating their nuclear payload.

a single patriot missile has a 15% chance of hitting an ICBM re-entering the atmosphere. Thats why you losses might be a little low.

OOC: There were circa 987 missiles (not 9,870!), and most of them were shot down by anti-ballistic missile defenses, as I pointed out. Besides, you should have SAID you were shooting at the capital.
