Ilham had one day to return the stolen naval vessels, and the nation has not done so. 2 Naval Fleets are currently enforcing a blockade against Ilham, anyone approaching Ilham will be redirected. No one is to enter the No-Fly Zone. Anyone who enters the No-Fly Zone will be immediatly redirected. If non responsive, they WILL be shot down. Ilham will be given until tomorrow (Real Life time) to decide wether or not to return the stolen vessels, and the crew.

"Sir, they're telling us to heave-to." The radioman said. Captain Lin Quang looked up, "That's what you're getting?" he asked.
The translator-operator nodded.


The response was from a nation he'd never even heard of.
"What's a... Doujin? whatever it is, this ain't their territory, and we damned well aren't their ship... Broadcast a wide-spectrum mayday, and file a Pirate report on the Militia channel. Bosun, unwrap the guns, and sound alarms."

A small red buzzer begins to go off on a large bored of about 200 named countries, The Lord CEO pads over to examine it, his day otherwise uneventful. He checks, then double checks the name under the red Buzzer.

"Doujin? I have not heared from that Nation in ages. Curious, could he really be at War? after such a long absance?"

The Lord High CEO ponders a moment, before pressing a call button on his Office Desk. Withen moments he gets a hold of the Leader of Doujin, speaking over an encrypted line. The Leader of the Large Corprate Nation eager to speak of this new War and what it fully implies. Rembering when both thier nations were young, and how one has helped the other before.

It is a godmode because you stated what his forces would do without consulting him first. Note that he did, in fact, say that his forces would not have acted so rashly. Your interpretation of his statements just isn't good enough. You cannot move the story forward by saying what someone else's country and/or forces would do - unless they specifically say that you can.

Based on where Ilham's islands are (He described them to me in a different, unrelated matter), my shipping pretty well [i]has to pass near or through his waters (I've got asia to my back...hard to sail a ship over dirt...) and it's moving forward now.

IC: The Federation of Autonomous City-states condemns the theft of Doujin-state property and supports the right of the people of Doujin to reclaim what is rightfully theirs from Ilham. The Secretary-General offers to dispatch a neutral observation force to ensure a peaceful transfer of the ships.

[ooc]Not really-consider the relative strength of the two main combatants- Ilham is a smaller nation, with a relatively small, but relatively advanced, military, whereas Doujin is a postmodern-tech exporter (BIG economy, BIG army, BIG navy). Thing is, if Ilham doesn't start posting soon, (like tonight RL), this isn't going anywhere-because Doujin can't inflict casualties if Ilham's player chooses to pretend it isn't happening. Similarly, he can't inflict economic damage with an embargo without Ilham's consent out of character.
The U.S. has threatened war over Intellectual Property before-they've also arrested a man for selling production secrets to Israel (an American Ally).
So IP issues are actually pretty important.
Now, he can inflict casualties on anyone dumb enough to show up-like me- because I'm willing to allow it, since it gives me an excuse to have something on a later timestamp (a crisis that forces yet another major investment in new equipment to keep up...) against another opponent. (Hence, giving him the chance to show he's serious about this, and to do something besides waiting...)

The Doujin warships fell in behind the freighter as she turned to Starboard, and the Captain watched with amusement- for the Destroyers to escort the ancient Liberty ship, they had to run almost at a dead-stop compared to their usual flanking speeds, and at least one of the haze-gray vessels was downwind from the thick oil-smoke being dumped by the Number-Two boiler.
"You know, it's amazing..." he commented. His exec, standing on the fantail with him cocked her head.
"What?" she asked.
He pointed across the horizon. "All those ships-you realize, they don't have room to manuever, at least, not much. I'd say the stresses caused by packing that much iron, and that many sweating sailors and soldiers into such a small volume of water is going to cause some real problems if they don't up and do something."
She shrugged, "Not our problem-might be Lian's, though-wasn't he in port over there, picking up a cargo?"
The Captain nodded, "Yeah, he was... I suspect he's going to have a hard time not getting run through a ringer on his return trip. Serves him right, though-he lowballed that contract..."
The exec laughed, and shook her head, "Sir, with all due respect, I think it may be the process of Karma in action-Lian lowballed that contract, which meant we had to take a contract to deliver supplies for the First Armoured in Corcyra-a low-pay job, compared-and he's stuck inside a siege, while we're making time."

OOC: No he saw it Nuevo, he sent me a TG telling me that he was going to ignore my "little embargo". I'm pressing on anyway.

Damn, here I was going to offer to broker negotiations for a settlement of peace!

understand, your fleets are sittin' on prime fishing grounds... very bad for business! and we have to run a lot of our trade through their waters, so it's also bad for us that you're sitting there with guns loaded! Ilham's got one or two people who've made connections with one of our better families, but nothing concrete as far as alliances are set-however, they're also covering a fairly large archipelago that we have to traverse in the course of our international trade- we're in kind of a "Bottleneck" territorially, we can't send the stuff overland (Hostile norhern neighbour whom we don't like much), and half our air-routes south pass through their airspace (though they don't stop)-your Blockade is doing positively savage things to [i]our local economy and trade, this is not good.

Well, what no one knows is that installed in the nuclear reactor of all my vessels is an incendiary device, just in case they are used against me. I just gave the order to blow those ships out of the water.
