The admiral was in his office overlooking several space charts when a message from the brig called him. "Sir you got to see this" The voice spoke. The admiral walked to the comm. box "Ill will be there in a sec". He made his way to the deck and sat in the command chair. "What is it?" He asked looking over at one of the men. "Sir, its, its a new planet." He said while adjusting his glasses. "A new planet has that so? We have our entire solar system mapped out and you’re telling me we have found a new planet?" The admiral replied. "Sir it doesn’t come up on any charts or records at all." The man said as he typed away. "I see well send down a spider unit and let’s see what they find" he ordered. "Yes sir" The man went to work.
Three spider drones were sent down to the mysterious planet. Several hours later reports came in. "The air is breathable sir, gravity is normal, no poisonous toxins that we know if in the air, the planet seems barren....wait we are getting something" The man said as he peered at the screen.

"What in the hell is that" The admiral asked puzzled. "Some kind of a structure sir what should we do?" The man replied. "Investigate it but have the spiders on defensive mode just in case" The admiral ordered. "Yes sir" The man typed in the keys but as the spider drones move closer to the object the picture was lost and connect to the drones was severed. "Sir we lost them" He informed. "How? There wasn’t anything there" The admiral asked again. "No clue what should we do?" He replied. "Hmmm if the drones were disconnected or shut down...perhaps a search team will do? Yes a search team, send a message to all with space travel capability. Inform them of the situation and inform them all they must do if they wish to participate in this is to send volunteers other wise we shall support the rest. Food, water, supplies ect." The admiral said while moving to the door. "Yes sir....ware are you going sir?" He asked. "To my office I need to think and rest." The admiral replied as he made his way back to his office.
