Vexia is proud to announce that, 10 months after the end of the Omega War and the interception of recovered Mekantan Machine "Corpses", we have finally come up with several Battle Mech Prototypes for Field Testing.
To celebrate this and demonstrate their effectiveness to encourage backing funds to create enough to sell on the global market, Archchancellor Valdez invites you (those of you who got invitations) to witness the field testing of several Battle Mechs, with Pilots and without, and to have a tour around our Research Facillity near the River Vex.
More information on all our mechs will be given to those invited.
Here's some footage of ther mechs in previous, private Testing.

NOTE: These are all prototypes, and do not resemble the finished products. There are also several other types created, such as the Wolfmech and Aquamech, which are not present because their AI was deemed too uncontrollable.

OOC: The Urban Mech bears an uncanny resembelence to the "Headhunter" Mech from Earthsiege 2. Is this a coincidence?
Also, can I take it that the mechs aren't that large? The street lights in the urbanmech pic are bigger than the mech.

IC: While we cannot support your methods of acquiring mekantan corpses (IE killing our allies.) We applaud your entry into the world of mechanized combat.

The Urbanmech is one of our smallest models, being just over 6 feet tall. The Spidermech is our largest model, being nearly twice the size of an M1A2 battletank.
However, for more information and a better idea of what they are capable of, we suggest you wait untill the field test is complete, and the nations that have been invited have seen and donated whatveer they feel like.
If you wish, we can arrange you to be a member of the a second, later and morefull developed field test, where you will witness the end results of our prototypes.
OOC: Yeah, i didn't make the pictures, but they fitted what i needed well enough, so i hope the owners don't mind.

OOC: Okay...... it looks like noone else i invited is coming, so let's begin.
Sorry for the long wait.

Now, to business............

The escorts waited impatiently at the airport for the few dignitaries to arrive.
General Arkady, head of the Cybernetic Weapons Research Programme, was a little angry that so few of those invited had bothered to even reply.
Still, it was their loss.
The Vexian War Machines were coming surprisingly close to completion, and the whole "VX" range would soon be obsolete, so letting the foreigners see them in action would not be a big risk. It would be even better if they actually bought them, or even started building their own.
He grinned. the First of the Aquamechs would soon be ready for deployment, and the shipping lanes were alreayd a hotbed of piracy and international strife. The Skymechs would do even more damage when the time came.
But for now, he had been ordered to smile and welcome the dignitaries, and take them to the testing ground, and show them the power of the VX models in comparison with a dozen or so of T-72's and a few old hinds, and perhaps even a Mig-21 Squadron suspected of still being loyal to the old regime.
They of cours,e would believe it wasn't live Ammunition being fired at them, but he knew better. He already had the "We regret to inform you that comrade soandso has died in a training accident" letters signed and in his draw.
He spotted the first dignitary stepping off their aerial transport, and went to greet them..............
