I am starting a list of viruses that your nation has discovered, or created using variations of different viruses, along with viruses that are located within your nations borders.
EDIT: Oh, this can also include viruses that you have contained now for research purposes.
Please list specs of virus (see my reply directly under this post for an idea... you can add other info, but please add that basic info)

The Equilox virus:
Incubation period: 15-25 days
After Incubation, time to death: 5 days
What it does: It begins to eat away at your skin, and melts your insides away. By the second days, your eyes will be shriviling up like rasons (sp?).
How does it spread: Air, liquid
How contagious: Extremely
Death pct: 100%
Outbreak chances: Extremely slim
Known to be wild: No
Known to be contained: Yes
OOC: yes, this is like a mix of the flesh-eatting decease and Ebola...
Boloxium:
Incubation period: 80 days exactly
After Incubation, time to death: 28 days
What it does: It quickly ages your body (bones, muscle, flesh). Your skill will become so aged, that it will dry out and begin cracking, much like the desert floor.
How does it spread: Liquid
How contagious: Low
Death pct: 100%
Outbreak chances: Extremely slim
Known to be wild: Yes
Known to be contained: Yes
Laughing Virus:
Incubation period: 2 days
After Incubation, time to death: Varies
What it does: It is extremely rare to die from this. After 2 days, it will start to screw up a section of your brain, causing you to have random, but long-lasting, outbursts of laughing, which is uncontrolable. It will get worse over time, and will slowly cause internal damage.
How does it spread: Air
How contagious: High
Death pct: .001%
Outbreak chances: Extremely high
Known to be wild: No
Known to be contained: Yes
The Resi Corporation

Unknown (refered to as "V"):
Incubation period: 1 day
After Incubation, time to death: 5 seconds
What it does: Patients that have been afflicted with V have a lack of nerve cells all over their body, from their sense receptors to their brains. There are still a few nerve cells left, but they are only enough to fake the existance of a nervous system. The only trace that V was ever in the patient is a high protein content in the patient's blood, which is presumed to be what the virus converts the nerve cells into. So far, no cells of V have been found, and there is no biological evidence that it is a virus.
How does it spread: Air, food, water
How contagious: Extremely
Death pct: 100%
Outbreak chances: ???
Known to be wild: No
Known to be contained: No
Terronian

After Incubation Time Till Death: 1 to 2 weeks
What It Does: Destroys mucus glands and acid galnds in stomach. Stomach lining begins to deteroiate until it bleeds horribly.
How Does It Spread: Unproper Water Cleaniless
How Contagius: Low
Death %: 89%
Outbreak chances: very slim
Known to be wild: yes
Known to be contained: yes
Cure: Yes but chances of death are still high.

The Rage Virus
Incubation period: Unkown
After Incubation, time to death: Unkown
What it does: Affects the brain and the person thinking, causes the subject to go in a crazed rage.
How does it spread: Unkown, most likely Air, substances.
How contagious: Very High
Death pct: 100%
Outbreak chances: Unkown, massive outbracks have occured randomly over IF's history, where they can kill up to 50,000 people before leaving without a trace. The last recorded outbreak was 125 years ago and no fragment of it's existance have been found since then.
Known to be wild: Expected
Known to be contained: No
Hamptonshire

Mountain Penguin Virus
Incubation: 12 hours
After Incubation Time Until Death: 5 days
What it does: It first attacks the body's nerve cells, killing the cells slowly. Such action causes loss of the tactile senses as well as motor control. After a period of 24 hours after the onset of the virus it spreads to the Spinal Cord. Once there it enters into the Spinal Cord cells and uses them as a source of reproductive material. This causes the slow and complete paralysis of the body. After 108 hours, the virus spreads from the Spinal Cord to the brain stem. The internal organs cease to function after 12 hours. A very slow and extremely painful death.
How It Spreads: Air, ingestion, skin contact (when the skin is cut)
How contagious: Extremely
Death percentage: 100%
Outbreak Chances: Very low outside of Hamptonshire. So far the disease has only been found in the Hamptonshire Mountain Penguin, it was then modified to infect humans so that the Ministry of Health and Domestic Security could study if the disease could cross species.
Known to be wild: See above.
Known to be contained: Absolutely, without question, under penalty of death if released.
Cure: In the Hamptonshire Mountain Penguin certain subjects have survived infection due to minor genetic mutation, so far such defense has not been found in humans.
Phoenixius

PV-921
Incubation period: 5-10 days
After Incubation, time to death: 24 hours
What it does: It attacks the water molecules in the living creatures body. It converts it into oxygen and hydrogen, which it uses to reproduce and live. Symptons include extreme dehydration, loss of energy, and slow reactions.
How does it spread: Air
How contagious: Extremely
Death pct: 100%
Outbreak chances: Extremely slim
Known to be wild: No
Known to be contained: Yes
"The Black Plague"
Incubation: 12 hours
After Incubation time to Death: 48 hours
What it does:Enters the bloodstream attacks the brain. The person cannot think then it enters the heart and stops the person from breathing.
How does it spread: Air
Contagious: Extremely
Death percent: 100
chances or contracting the virus: Very slim(You have a better chance of winning the lottery or being bitten by a shark).
Found in wild: No
Contained: Yes
Luhin Virus
Incubation period: 12 days
After Incubation, time to death: 4 days
What it does: It attacks your brain, making it expand, and bloat. It will continue doing this. After the first day, it will have expanded to the point that it has to break through your skull. After 6 hrs and it might have, depending on your skull. By 48 hours, it will have begun to melt your brain. By this time, it also has attacked your spinal cord, and paralyzed you. By the forth day, your brain has melted, and you have dead.
How does it spread: Infected food, liquids, contact on skin (the virus is so small, it can go through your skin and into your body)
Chances it will outbreak: Not very high (it happens periodicly)
Death pct: 100%
Outbreak chances: Extremely slim
Known to be wild: Yes
Known to be contained: Yes
Cure: No
Known host: Unknown
"The Mekantan Empire has long known of a series of symbiotic Viral-Bacterial relationships. The STX type has been known to Mekanta for generations, but the lack of outside exposure may make those not from the Empire more susceptable."
[code:1:f0f1068bf0]
STX-100 (Original)
Stage One (Bacterial) Incubation Period: Three to Twelve Hours
What it Does: Causes lack of balance, increased libido, high fever, nausea, and unconsciousness as it causes chemical imbalances in the brain.
Approx Time To Death: Unknown. No Fatalities
Stage Two (Viral) Incubation Period: Approx. 2 days after infection
What it does: Causes halucinations, Short and Long term memory loss, lack of voluntary muscle control, varying sensations all over the body as it attacks nerves, slight chance of psychosis.
Approx Time to Death: Four to Fifteen years in VERY rare cases.
How does it spread: Physical Contact in Stage Two.
How contagious: Moderately.
Death Percent: .00125%
Outbreak Chances: High
Known to be Wild: Yes
Known to be Contained: Yes
Cure: A harmless STX, the 97 variant, is known to hunt and kill STX-100. Infestations in stage two can be wiped out in minutes. Symptoms may persist for weeks, however.

[code:1:f0f1068bf0]
STX-105 (Biological Weapon Variant)
Stage One Incubation period: Five hours
What it does: STX-105 enters the body as a bacteria, STX-105 Alpha. Once a bacteria reaches the brain, it begins altering chemical balances and attacking the motor strip. Symptoms include: Inability to move voluntarily, loss of color vision, loss of sense of taste.
Approx Time to Death: Variable. How long does it take to starve?
Evolution Time: 24 hours
What it does: After roughly 24 hours of inhabiting a body, STX-105 Alpha undergoes several changes and develops the symbiotic virii of the STX series. This new stage, STX-105 Beta, will attack throughout the body, distributing the virus and causing havoc of its own. Symptoms include: Inability to move voluntarily, hunger, halucinations, various sensations, disorientation, nausea, and disruption of hormones.
Approx Time to Death: Variable. Starvation or Chemical Imbalance
Stage Two Incubation period: Immediate after Evolution
What it does: The virus, STX-105 Gamma, spreads and negates all resistance by the body. Probability of other infections becomes very high. If it senses another modified STX variant, specificly STX-106, it triggers a final evolution.
Approx Time to Death: Variable. What else will infect the person?
Final Evolution Time: Immediate after STX-106 is detected
What it does: As STX-106 was created as a way of making STX-105 lethal, its presence in a body infected with STX-105 will cause the 105 variant to undergo another transformation. This transformation, the Omega Variant, will kill everything it finds, causing severe pain and finally death.
Approx Time to Death: Three to Five Hours of Agony
Death Percent: Variable
Omega Death Percent: 100%
How Does it Spread: Contact, liquids, air
How Contagious: EXTREMELY
Outbreak Chances: If we release it? Extremely High
Known to be Wild: We hope not
Known to be Contained: Last time we checked.
