OOC: Tech level of things here is about 2004-2015 at the very most. This storefront is primarily focused on selling manufacturing rights, but also does sell the goods that the plans are for, we would just prefer it if you bought manufacturing rights instead.

IC:
The Avantage (Made by combinding the words Avant-garde and Advantage) Institute is opening today.

A state-of-the-art research facility that brings together twelve private sector companies and the government, the Avantage Institute incorporates a computer science, arms design, automotive engineering, structual engineering, avionics, and medical labratories. It will begin selling plans and production rights, and trading a discount or outright giving of plans in exchange for manufacturing a certain number for our use.

The Avantage Institute is dedicated to developing innovative next-generation technologies.

We have now started actually selling some of these.

Our products are listed below.

Arms Design

JF-P.1 Stanina

Jamwo Firearm-Pistol, model 1 Stanina (Named after a famous Jamwoan general), is the latest in pistols.

http://www.freewebs.com/jamwo/jamwopistol.JPG

It has an innovative barrel design that allows for grasping of the front of the barrel (Of course, this means you need a special silencer for this gun, other ones will not attach) and rapid unscrewing of the barrel. This barrel front also serves to make the front of the gun snag less, because the protruding barrel is covered by a smooth, rounded surface.

It also features weaver rails below the barrel. It is also fully ambidextrous. It is also highly concealable, at 180mm.

The pistol is designed to be the most accurate, most reliable, and most ergonomic pistol on the market. It lives up to all three. In ergonomics, it features a polymer frame and the ability to replace sections of the handguard with new sections (a set of three options is included) that better fit your hand. This also makes it easier to customize.

Caliber: 9mm NATO
Dimensions (l/h/w): 180/137/32
Weight without Magazine: 605g
Barrel length: 106mm (Standard)
Magazine capacity: 16

The cost is $750, $900 with a silencer. You can negotiate for a purchase of plans and production rights, however.

JF-UAR.1 Upgrade to Crookfur CFAR S1A3 Assault Rifle

Crookfur's S1A3 is the standard issue assault rifle for the Jamwoan military. While high quality, we found that some improvements could be made, so we manufacture this upgrade kit.

http://www.freewebs.com/jamwo/upgradedcrookfur.JPG

It simply snaps onto the rifle's barrel. It still allow for full functionality of all weaver rails. This upgrade features:

Weight compensator, to allow for more accuracy in automatic fire. The heavy stock of the rifle decreases accuracy in automatic fire, so this balances it out more.
Built-in laser sight, freeing up an additional weaver rail
Improved cooling, although this is not a problem, it never hurts to improve.

The cost is $350. You can negotiate for a purchase of plans and production rights, however.

JF-UAR.2 Bullpup Conversion Kit for the M16A2 Assault Rifle

While not used by Jamwoan forces, the M16A2 is one of the most widely used rifles in the world. We decided to make a package to bring it into the 21st century for those who cannot afford new ones.

http://www.freewebs.com/jamwo/m16bullpupconversion.JPG

The upgrade is fairly extensive, with a new stock design, semi-forward handgrip, folding iron sight, and a weaver rail on the top of the rifle. It takes a reasonably gunsmith a little more than five hours to accomplish the conversion.

The cost is $400, much cheaper than a new generation rifle. You can negotiate for a purchase of plans and production rights, however.
