The Zoogie People

Onboard a large Trimarian aircraft carrier, of the Aegis-class from Tokarev, two miraculous aircraft were making test flights. After a lengthy hydraulics system overhaul, and the release of the new Esmi&r Es143 engines, the third and fifth ZF-43 prototypes were now undergoing tests.
Both were fitted with the ASTOVL variant of engines, and painted lavishly - YF-43 05, or 'Piggie 05' as it is known among the pilots, was fully combat ready and bright green and yellow, with fierce orange eyes...those of a Gecko, although the design teams still believe it resembles a Newt.
Thirty miles out to sea from the Three Islands area; international waters
Piggie 05 has been transported to serve with a fleet in patrol to test its maximum unrefueled range. It is flying on unarmed for six hundred miles out to sea and returning, for starters.
Unfortunately, 450 miles out at sea on its return flight leg, we lost contact with Piggie 05. Because of the fact that Piggie 05 was on unarmed testing, none of its guidance systems were activated; indeed, nearly 500 miles into international waters we had no true guidance systems.
We do know now that Piggie 05 was shot down...presumably from 35000 feet above sea level, while flying Mach 0.8. The Coast Guard has recovered the wreckage but the pilot has not been found.
We are looking into who shot down an unarmed test flight in international waters and apparently killed on of our top test flight pilots.
If this is a triple post, would a mod please delete the others?
