Today, Her Majesty's Government og Tagria issued a request for Proposals for battlefield integration of the four arms of Her Majesty's armed forces. The Ministry of Defence ordered the request after training exercises for the branches indicated poor communication between branches of the military.
The Contract worth some £448 Million ($815 Million) will prove very lucrative with the Tagrian Government also stating their indication to also require the option of further upgrades with a further contract worth some £215 Million ($391 Million). The request will require the following options to be fulfilled:
- Central and localised battlefield control.
- Valuable strategic and tactical information to be able to be transmitted to troops on the battlefield.
- The ability to co-ordinate air, sea, land and medical forces efficiently.
- The ability to provide suitable redundancies to prevent loss in capability.
- The ability to improve digital communications with troops.
- Provide tthe commander in chief with a full view of the battlefield and offer the correct and full intelligence on hand quickly.
The Contract is hoped to improve the capabilities of the Royal Tagrian Armed Forces substantially to resist possible invasion and agression on her borders.
