I am looking for some orbital cannons to help upstart a space fleet I am designing. Are there any contractors who are willing to supply me with some?

Something that takes a "reasonable" time to charge, but powerful enough to wipe out maybe whole cities. I'm thinking maybe using conventional, but large missiles, with the option of nuclear warheads. I say missiles, because I am a predominatly modern-tech nation.

Also the missile can be fired into space thus main git good to protest your space fleets. We will build this cannon for:

510 Billion US dollars. yes it is expensive but we will be paying for the supplies and workers.

As for cost, well, we financed it for 5 Billion Imperial Wibbles, so that's what we'd have to charge you. And as for protecting it against space-based attack? Well, it has an EMP blast on it, as well as various Weapons Pods to suit your needs...

Well, the Imperial Wibble is stronger than the US Dollar by quite a considerable margin, so you'd be looking at about $8 Billion. Unless you wanted to trade some stuff, but we'd still need $5 Billion in cash to cover the materials, launching, etc etc. We'd take the balance in trade goods, fighter planes, tanks, or other useful stuff...

I haven't posted a page for the stats, primarily because it's basically a satellite with a huge cannon in it.

Preliminary tests have shown the Jupiter Cannon, firing a Depleted Uranium/Plutonium Slug, to be capable of levelling an area the size of Canberra (not that anyone would notice, or even care if we did such a thing :lol:). The resulting radioactivity would render an area the size of Greater London uninhabitable for a very long time...

Now, if you were to put a bigger slug, or even a Nuclear Slug into the cannon, you could bypass all SDI defences and lay waste to an area the size of Tasmania with very little trouble at all... Not that Roycelandia reccommends you do this, of course. If you do, you invalidate the Limited Lifetime Warranty... :D

It will take nine months to put in orbit, but will be well worth the wait. Trust us. 8)

By the way, don't get any ideas about using them on us in the future. If you do, the entire array will self-destruct. It's been carefully built into the design, and cannot be bypassed.

Had I been aware of this much sooner we could of worked out some kind of contract for orbital cannons.

The Colonial Research & Development Division is looking into, and testing, the possibilities of using a Microwave Laser Cannon, which is basicaly Microwave Emissions Miagnified to the point of a Beam of Light, for an orbital cannon around Novar.
