With recent advancments in Applyed Bio-Organism Re-Engieering, the Donimion of Kanuckistan's Board of Health has seen fit to authorise medical facilities to offer Cardiovascular Decenteralisation Therapy to the public; like most private self-enhancment procedures, CDT is not covered under existing government health plans except as an optional alternitive to heart restoration or replacment procedures(although the resulting lack of a destinguishible heart beat makes this undesirible to many), and will cost the individual an estimated $12'500 USD(Universal Standard Dollars).

Classifyed a non-medical elective procedure, those without existing heart problems wishing to have the operation will be forced to utalise the hospital system's excess capasity; while normally not a problem, high demand is expected create a bottleneck situation resulting in waiting peroids of several months or more for most non-medical electives, until demand for the procedure eventually drops as those desiring it are processed. Extranationals are also elligible, but most medical facilities maintain a 'citizens-first' policy with regaurds to electives, so most will likly have to wait for the backlog to clear.

Cardiovascular Decenteralisation Therapy, or CDT, is the application of the Decenteralised Cardiovascular Pump System, which lines several hundred meters of blood vessels. It comprises a series of several synthetic organisms which symboticly serve to act as a coherent, body-wide blood pump, eventually bonding with the blood vessels and becoming a seemless part of the host's body during the patient's three week stay in a Bio-medical Nanite Suspension(or BMNS, pronounced Bem-ins) tank. For those planning to have children, the enchancment can also be applyed via genetic alteration to lab-fertalised embryos, then implanted via artifical insemination, for similar cost.

OOC:

Ya know, you can have your military folks get this treatment(tho the manditory invasive psionic scans at the boarder will limit who you'd want to send; exceptions could probally be arranged by government request, however); even better than a second heart enhancment.
