The President of Euroslavia, Roger Lawrence, was found dead today, at ground zero. A bomb exploded in the Grand La Zunta Hotel today, killing almost all of the 1,000 occupants. V.P. Lydia Johnson has become the President for the time being, until elections are finished. It is a sad day in Euroslavic history...President Lawrence led Euroslavia into its Golden Age, and it has all ended, beginning with his death...

President Chen of the Republic of China offers his condolences.

We here in Trecon are shocked of these sad news from our helper Euroslavia. May the next president follow his heart as much as Roger Lawrence did in his decisions.

Open Letter to The Government and People of Euroslavia

My Friends,

It is with great sadness that I learned of the tragic death of your great leader, Roger Lawrence. Though I did not know your President personaly, it was under his administration that the first Euroslavian embassy was opened in my own nation; and I have spent many a pleasant evening with his ambassador. I have learned much of your nation and your people, and indeed have developed quite a sympathy for you. Jagiellonia extends gestures of the deepest sorrow to the people of Euroslavia, we will indeed morn with you. Know that should we be needed, we shall spare no time or resources in avenging your President's death. I shall be in touch with your new President. It is indeed strange and sad, but such sorrowful events always bring people closer together, and we of Jagiellonia feel we have been brought closer to Euroslavia through our shared grief. Stay strong my friends, we shall pray that your moment of sorrow will quickly pass, and be replaced by a brighter future.

We thank all of you for pledging your support. The government of Euroslavia is in tatters right now, so basically anything can happen. Elections are coming up, but you never know what may happen.

We, the Incorporated States of Exonerate, offer our deepest and most sincere condolences to our long-time ally. Our special forces rescued Roger Lawrence once from Ulan Baator, and we regret that we could not offer any help this incident. Our whole nation greives for your loss, and we hope that Euroslavia will stand strong despite this horrible tragedy.

We have already begun our own indepedent investigation of this action; since we are located on the same continent, the terrorists might have gained entry through our borders. If Euroslavia would like, we can provide our a team of investigators to conduct a joint-investigation to hunt down those responsible for this, and to prevent anything like this from happening again.
