Military Exercises between Jasotamia and Jaggedy(Closed RP)

08-03-2004, 00:13
We will be using our full LAND military forces.

We will be using paint ball guns/paint ball bombs/rounds.

Jasotamia's Elite Squad secures a large ridge on the north east border of the engagement zone.

The Heavy Armored Divisons set up in a crescent shape along the narrow roads along the valley as the artillery sets up along the ridge the Elite Squad had secured.

Very well - paintballs.
question - What is the geography of the area we're doing this in? I want to make sure before I post...also, are we allowed aircraft/helicopters using virtual missiles?

mostly flat, wooded, few large hills

Jasotamia's troops sit in the highest state of alert waiting for the Jaggedy troops to move in.
Jaggedy

The invasion force of Jaggedy soldiers take their positions - some are airdropped in, some transported by helicopter; others by vehicles, and others from nearby bases on foot. Ch-47 Chinook squadrons fly to the foot of the wooded area and insert two groups of 40 soldiers each; another Ch-47 deploys 25 special forces to this same area.

On the flat plains, six heavily armoured columns begin rolling toward the enemy positions, spreading themselves in an even crescent shape twenty miles away from the enemy; only several hills block the way between us and you. Each armoured column consists of one MLRS unit, one Paladin self-propelled howitzer, and two towed howitzers, as well as fourteen Bradley infantry fighting vehicles. The Bradleys are accompanied by nine M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks and four Ukranian T-84 main battle tanks (the T-80 variant fitted to shoot anti-tank missiles out of its 135mm smoothbore gun.)

On foot with each armoured unit is 170 soldiers, equipped with rubber-projectile shooting mortars, heavy machine guns, M-16A2's, and the assortment of land warfare equipment available today. If this is too much let me know...I want it more on a even scale.

If we are allowed to use helicopters in combat (rather than just transport prior to) then consider each of the six armoured columns protected by six AH-64D Longbows fitted and eight Mi-24s, each with 6 soldiers in them, taken out of the 170 on foot.

Secret IC engagement plans?

The six divisions spread evenly along the area's first job is to use the MLRS, Paladin, and towed howitzers, a total of four in each division, to fire in rounds...i.e; several MLRS will fire, then Paladin, then towed howitzers...forming an almost seemingly endless barrage of heavy fire. Then the rest of the armoured divisions will move forward; with close-air-support by the Mi-24s and defense against enemy helicopters by the AH-64Ds.
