News Alert: Zoogiedom begins research on Antarctica

First of all, continued from here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=124987&highlight=). Zoogiedom has made a claim of real-life Antarctica for research purposes only...(we look down on roleplaying wars in RL countries, or using them as a base for rapid deployment). Pablicosta has previously been the owner of the vast majority of Antarctica, save a small corner in the Northeast area.

This is the small corner we have claimed sovereignty to, and here we will conduct scientific research, setting up experimental bases and exploring the land. Other nations who have already established scientifical research bases are still conducting research; we leave them alone if they so require, and co-operate if they so choose. It is for all intensive purposes free research land.

A cold-water fleet has been operating non-live-fire excercises off the shores of Antarctica, so we do maintain a military presence to train our troops in cold weather. The ships and crew rotate on-and-off.

We have also since acquired a further 120 square miles of land from Pablicosta.

We are indebted to materials we have acquired from Antarctica123/Shinoxia that now enable us to move around the freezing land...without their wonderful products and cold weather expertise, we would never be able to accomplish what we have. We therefore wire $5 billion in thanks to Shinoxia.
