today at a news conference in the tashkent region tal-kerillian defence minister sergei ivanov has stated that a new project in the pursuit of a new generation multi-purpose aircraft was initiated and the tests for its avionics/weapons enignes and other such equipment were already started last week.
the project's designation is MF-LRF (multi-functional long range fighter)
the requirments are:
Air-superiority
more then 3 alternative roles as; Fighter/Bomber/reconnaissance/interceptor (different aircraft versions)
the most advanced avionics and computing technology
Stealth
two engines with vectored-thrust
no more info is available about it except that there will be an export version and a naval
